Younger brother of Cleamon "Big Evil" Johnson.
His debut album, "Mobbin 4 Life", was released in August 1994 while he was incarcerated and dropped by the label shortly thereafter due to poor sales and marketing. Upon his release, Mr. Johnson proceeded to record a follow-up album but was found found shot dead by unknown assailants on November 25, 2007. In 2001, his then girlfriend Shereece Rankin was murdered. It has been said that Sinister has at least one son.
Incomplete recordings and fan compilations have since surfaced on the Internet.

He was a member of the Green Meadows Bloods gang active in Watts, California. Johnson's debut album, Mobbin 4 Life, was released in 1994 on Interscope Records while he was incarcerated.
