This time we don't build a big indoor area like we did during the beta but I inspired the shelter for the Elephants a little bit on the Giraffe House of Rotterdam Zoo, Blijdorp. I put my indian elephants together with the african ones. Even it they don`t get a bonus from each other, they get along very well. And there are also some Plants both like, so they have both 100% in plants and habitat
The whole time you were mentioning underwater viewing and elephants swimming, I was just thinking of Tantor from Tarzan using his trunk like a submarine telescope XD

I had no idea that elephants could swim....i knew they would play in shallow water and mud....did not know they could legit swim though. Craziness.

14:47 nice idea!! Here in Thailand we actually made enclosure for elephants with a logs like that. usually just a short but strong and tight logs are enough. I tried this in my game but they all got out and ran loose though lol
I think that three animals that fit perfectly the zoo: Siberian tiger, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Brown Bear!

This is beautiful. The viewing building is quite unique. I completed my first building and tutorial for me. While all glass building inside the Peafowl habitat would not stand up to building code, it looks pretty good. I used the Indian Rugs prop with peacock design to decorate some of my walls and also used some metal wall pieces. I changed all the colors to blues and greens and am very happy with all,.

Hi DeLady! I added Indian Rhino's tot the Indian Elephant habitat and it works very well! They don't swim, but it is fun to have thhem together.

you know before you added the detail and like the rocks around the fence and it was just the brick fence and the water, i was like this is not the best its your typical habitat, then you added detail and i was wow this is awesome!

Could u build the "Bush" of burgers zoo? Its a big tropical habitat with a lot of animals in it! Its one of my favorite places to go when im at the zoo!
We only have 1 animal (aardvark) that you will find in Burgers Zoo the Bush.. so atm it doesnt really feel interesting to do something like that haha

Things like rabbits are like, household pets I believe, and I don’t think they’re gonna use things like cats and dogs etc
That'd be really cool, over here we have things called Gnadenhöfe, that take in abused, elderly and disabled animals that would otherwise be slaughtered or would have continued living in bad environments. They have many "normal" animals like horses, cows, donkeys, cats, dogs, etc. I think it'd be a lot of fun to build a zoo with this kind of concept.
Badgers have been already added, but the rest not. Also badgers are from a pack idk the pack.
i really wish they add racoons too

Hi! Just a little tip... in Munich there’s a zoo called "Tierpark Hellabrunn". It’s really famous for his big elephant dome, and his jungle house! Maybe you can build something like that?!

Meh, tunneling is too bugged and glitchy right now. I rather wait till this really becomes an official thing and you are able to have a nice looking tunnel without weird paths and no water on the sides of the path, only above :)

How do you edit terrain close to the barrier and under them? :o its impossible for me.
Just a question, gonna try it myself when I get home, but is it possible to make a walk-through habitat with for example peafowl and Indian elephants and just make a fence out of stumps that has gaps wide enough for the peafowls but not wide enough for the elephants? So that the guests could walk through, close to the peafowls but the elephants couldn't get close enough to the guests to hurt them?

Hi @deladysigner, I saw that when you were creating the round building, you selected the objects (wall and glass top) as a group, copy, paste and flip those objects to the other side at the same time. How did you do that? It doesn’t look like a rotation to me.

You could add in peafowl to the Indian elephant exhibit, so u could put them in the exhibit but turn off the breeding for them

How did you hide the barriers in the terrain?
Whenever I try it the terrain goes around the barrier for both normal and null. Same as if I try to go under the barrier. A bit of terrain stays behind.
I have all collisions off

Hallo! Ich wollte mal fragen, wie du es bei dem Stempeltool hin bekommst, das du direkt am Zaun absenken oder einen Zaun ohne großen Abstand mit dem Boden auffüllen kannst? Bei mir ist da ständig weiter Platz dazwischen :(

If I could put a suggestion for a zoo, if you can It would be really cool to make a zoo based on the Great Plateau from the Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild or another location from the game. I would do it myself but I'm bad a designing in this game (at least when compared to you.)
I love the game and all and soon I am going to buy the full version on steam but the only concern I have is the humans walking through walls and things. lol they need to fix that.

The entrance for the underwater viewing is inside of the building where we also have the Pygmy Hippo habitat 😊
The zoo is now in the workshop, so if you are curious, you can always download it and walk around to see it 😊
