The penguin habitat is incredible! I really like the rock formations and all the flower pots you added are such a nice detail!
I really love this series! 😍 The whole vibe of this zoo and the mediterranean environment is such a unique idea and the color palette that you have going on here is stunning! Can't wait for the future episodes
This is such a fun, unique style for a zoo! I know everyone has already suggested the sealions and peafowl/peacocks. One idea I think might be really cool is a 'reptile house.' Italy is known for their massive art museums surrounded by well manicured gardens, so a large italian villa style reptile house might serve as a fun centerpiece for the zoo. Who knows, maybe the villa was the home of the Vinyard owners originally, and the family turned the home and vinyard into the zoo as a way to avoid needing to sell it.
I really hope it’s planet aquarium! I already play an aquarium management game called megaquarium, but imagining what frontier would do with a planet aquarium makes me very excited
I really dont, because i would prefer a Aquarium expansion for PZ, even for a full game price for my sake. I really hate Gamehopping :D
@@marvinbange1216 fully aquatic animal care is pretty different to semi aquatic/aquatic animals seen in planet zoo. There’s a lot of depth to the mechanical side of the environment (filtration, etc) that would be missing in planet zoo. A planet aquarium could include things from koi and other pond fish, to colorful reef tanks, to amazon river fish, to large shark tanks. I’m a hobbyist fish keeper and I think a couple fish in planet zoo would be underwhelming. Plus, frontier has yet to include any fully aquatic animals iirc, which I think points to a purposeful design choice on their part
@@savannahbugg As a reptile keeper i can say there is also depth in care of terrarium animals which need very specific heating, lighting gradiants and supplementation. Neither of which is really implemented in the game besides simple settings, so i dont see why aquariums cant be in PZ. Technically Axolotls are fully aquatic
@@marvinbange1216 that’s fair. Though, maybe a planet aquarium could also include a more in depth care and display system for reptiles :3 I know I see anacondas and turtles and frogs at aquariums.

You could add the alpine ibex or the dall sheep. Because it is a bit higher up in the park so it would fit it a bit with the mountain ish landscape
zoo sicily is realy a beautiful zoo.
The rock facade seems inspired by the Necropolis of Pantalica in Syracuse, it's so similar! 💛
Mabye not for the next animal, although I would love to see a sort of sunken colloseum of sorts for sea lions.
I bet one of the DLCs will be a "desert pack". It seems like there are so many animals they could add that would fit this category
Just a little realism pointer... Pebble/gravel paths don't work on slopes, as in time it will all end up on the bottom. Unless staff endlessly rakes it up the hill again. Cheers, keep up the great work.

Im really interested in how much the playerbase of PC and PZ actually overlaps. Im sure there are a bunch of people that came over from Planet Coaster, and surely a lot of players will transition over to a potential PC2. But i assume there are also a ton of PZ players who have no interest in PC and a PC2.
Really interested in how thats gonna play out :)

Maybe u could add the dall sheep it will be a great animal in Zoo Sicily, especially to make a pretty moutain side, or, maybe a Maned Wolf habitat, i dont believe you already made one! that could be cool too!

The build is beautiful! And I enjoyed hearing your process! Moving I'd always absolutely horrid and I hope it's over quickly for you. That said I did have to laugh at you saying 40km is so long to drive, in my area that's a pretty normal drive to work for many. Growing up that was a normal drove to any store that wasn't walmart 😅 it's amazing how differently people think about driving depending on where they are and what they're used to.

Great episode of a awesome habitat....great blend between the location of the zoo and the original location of the pinquins! As for the plans for a new "planet" game, i have no idea what it could be, but it makes me curious to see what they will come up with!...thanks for sharing and keep it up!

Wow i was somehow expecting the african penguin to be next, but maybe it’s just that they’re so popular (especially in Italy, i think for the climate), anyways great video as always and regarding the news i’m so happy that we’re going to have more DLC’s for planet zoo and i’m pretty exited to see the new game, if it’s not planet coaster 2 it might be something about transports ( planet railway, planet airpor etc…) but i guess we’ll see what it is

Rudi it's absolutely lovely! But since this is an island why not make use of the natural body of water around the island? Build an amphitheater like the one in Jurassic Park but by the sea or on the cliffside?

Rudi what’s are the settings that allow you to work through the paths and barriers like that with the terrain? Please I’d love to know it looks like it makes building much easier

i usually don't post anything, but quick question - how in the world do you edit the terrain under a path? i have freebuild as well but it won't let me do this, is there a setting i missed?

Hello! How are you able to modify terrain with path on it? Like at the beginning of the video. Which setting allows that?
Do you have a mod on for paths? Your paths seemed to go show even with the wild terrain super easily.
Why did you add all the pink squares at the beginning?
To measure how much deep the pool has to be so that penguins can deep dive (2m)
Did you use a prefab map at the start or did you create it all yourself because you built this on a hill and i was just wondering
Ok so I am confused. How can you terraform a path or a barrier? I have seen that so often, but I cant find an option for that.
do you think it could be a planet aquarium game? or is that too similar to planet zoo already?
I think it would be too similar to planet zoo but since they have the groundworks for both theme parks and zoos already they could easily make something like planet aqua with waterslides, pools and fish. Although if it isn't PC2 it's more probable to be something like planet resort or something in that direction.
A short question: At 1:39 min he is adjusting the floor AND the path in one go. I can only adjust the floor, but NOT the path it does not move up. Do you know what setting he is using? Your help is much appreciated! Thanks a lot.

I like freebuild but the pathing gives me alpt of trouble. Many of the visitors get stuck. Wish Frontier would just fix the way their pathing works so we wouldn't need to mod it..
