Now that GRU is nerfed, and with Steak giving the same health to medics as the Sandvich, there's something to be said for using steak on 5cp rollouts.
I think Banana is good to have with Medics when they're repeatedly getting set on fire

Bara Dániel nah, the smg has its place in mid range chip damage and messing up trolder. The only other option in that regard is the cleaner carbide. (edit for spelling)
@@samurailobster6561 Jarate + Bushwacka is a much better option IMO. For middle ranges, you can just no-scope with the Sniper Rifle.
Might just be because I'm a noob but I absolutely adore the syringe gun. I don't charge into battle of course, but it's great for mowing down the spies that come up behind those I'm healing or an over confident scout trying to catch me leaving spawn. I only ever get 1-3 kills a game with it as my first priority is making sure everyone is healed.
Jarate is op but smg still has its uses. Also smg is the best secondary against scouts and second best against pyros, which is really the only things i find myself dying from as sniper. Also if you use the syringe gun a weapon, use the blutsauger instead.

A few cases that I'd say pushes me towards the Sandvich:
• Both items recharge near instantly when you use a health pickup. Converting HP pickups into Sandviches instead of bananas is way more efficient for both you and the team.
• The vulnerability period while healing can be punished so you usually have to retreat in order to initiate healing. This is time the Sandvich could be charging.
• The Sandvich's greater healing not only tops off health, it also enables you to heal through some amount of damage when you are being hit mid healing making poor positioning a little more forgiving.
• The intervals when I need to heal manually don't usually match that of the Banana's. A lot of the times, the Banana's fast charging is a dead trait.
• There is no robo banana

If you are anyone else, use the Banana.
I said no to banana , cuz I use dalophcos , since , lone wolf most of time , cuz I'm a sniper main , and I get more kills , since I tank more damage , even with a medic who is annoyed , and I'm the only one who helps him (by giving him a chocolate bar and killing the pyro who kills him a billion times , no really , I'm the medical best m8).

If you are doing a rollout at the start, use the Steak. If you are a clueless F2P or play "times whatever" servers, use the chocolate. If you aren't planning to have a Medic nearby and/or the map has few medkits, use the Banana. For everything else, use the Sandwich.

This is pretty much it. The banana is good for loners but is not really appreciated by team mates while the sandvich is pretty much a medic support item. As heavy I don't really rely on pocket medics that much and have almost stopped using the sandvich entirely.
Pretty sure being giving a health kit instead of someone using it for themselves is appreciated by team mates. I mean, i'm sorry I need to heal while you, scout, keep stealing the large health packs when you lose 10 health.

Big Joey Slap-Nuts Really I think the dalokahs bar is King in community maps, slow paced maps and gamemodes that favor attrition. Before they removed the flat damage resistance when revved, I used it with the Natasha and it was disgustingly good on cactus canyon. God how I miss Cactus Canyon. Before the jungle inferno update my main loadout was the Tomislav, the Dalokahs Bar, and the Fists of Steel, it is an amazing roaming loadout. It makes you a good in any slow paced maps or gamemodes. The Tomislav is also a good sneak attack weapon. The extra health from the dalokahs bar also means you get more health from health packs. The Fists keep you alive when they are too far to fight. Now since the banana is almost a straight upgrade, my main loadout is the citizen pain, the second banana, and the Fists of Steel. With the flat buff to minigun revving and the need for more damage to keep dragon furries off the minigun just works. The second banana because I roam. I hate babysitting medics unless they let me know first so I can use a properly tailored loadout. And the Fists of Steel for staying alive again. I still understand my old main loadout will still dominate in slow or community maps and gamemodes but this new loadout is so godly it isn't funny. Remember when other miniguns used to be generally usable than just the Tomislav or Default? Pepperidge farm remembers.

the sandwich is better for your medic as it heals like a medium health pack when thrown, while the banana is only a small health pack, and if there's a medic on your team you probably won't need health yourself but you'll give it to your medic, both are useful in different situations
But if there are a lot of pyros having a way to quickly put your medic out is handy

One thing I will say about the banana, though I'm betting it has been said before, is that due to its ridiculously good recharge factor it can be a great boon if the enemy has a case of pyromania. Due to any health source extinguishing fires, for most classes quickly putting out a fire can help make up for the extra HP a sandvich would have provided over its potassium-based contemporary. Due to this, the banana makes a solid anti-pyro pick for Heavy, a tool he didn't really have in his kit till now. A banana a day keeps the burning away, who'da thunk?

Well, it’s really situational. The sandvich is for the pocket heavy, while the Second Banana is for the roaming heavy. The Dalokohs is for x10+ and selfish heavy. The Steak Sandvich is for Medieval. Nothing else.

If there are two heavy’s one uses Sandvich and one uses banana so that they have a good health pool for medic and so the if the heavy eats sandvich the other heavy can throw bananas as they both body block

Dahlokas bar if you are solo on the front lines, especially with a dispenser to besically give yourself an overheal to allow you more time on the front, banana if you are solo on the flank, to make sure that you always are starting fights with nearly full health.

Sandvich: Usually in competitive where you can find a trustworthy Medic to help you out
Banana: Casual where Medics aren’t guaranteed with their skill even more in question.

The dalokohs bar is really only good with the GRU or the eviction notice because of the health drain thing and dalokohs goes into overheal
You forgot that the food secondaries can be regained if you pick a healthpack while full hp, Thats pretty useful if you just gave your medic a sandvich ad he got low health again and you have a health pack near you, if its small take it. and give him the sandvich, if its big, dont take, let the medic take

Banana recharges faster for more frequent healing.
By the time your sandvich is recharged a medic has already found you.
Putting some thought into it,there’s another variable that should be discussed,if you’re in a map where health kits are widespread and numerous in a close to medium spread,you can gain back sandwiches via health kits a lot,but inversely,in a map where either there’s a Low amount of health kits or are spread far,the banana is preferable.

What if you used the warrior’s spirit with the banana while being healed by a medic, does that mean that it will cover its weakness of being a small hp pack?
