  • ok so i said I would upload this video even though i know there will be confusion and disputes about it :) Paddy ward is the king now- undisputed in my eyes. before him there was Joe Joyce and this man here Baretly Gorman. Joe Joyce is hated by many people on youtube but do not know him and like Bartley, there isnt any proper fights of them in their prime on youtube so do not judge them just by the videos. Both of these men believed they were king but it is being thought more and more that Bartley was pretty much the best BKB fighter ever. So take it as what you want, i am not saying who was and who wasnt king but i will say one thing, Paddy Doherty was never king of the travellers and he never claimed to be. Hes just known but is still a good fighter and like Bartley, respected by most

Batman’s “Bane” sent me here. Never heard of this gent or his story, but what a wonderful interview. Thanks for posting this. Even how he moves at this age, there’s no doubts the guy could throw down twice as much in his younger days. Keep in mind that’s bare knuckle on the bag and it’s that brutal in power and technique. A fighter is a fighter, no matter the age

Though as a fighter he was as hard as iron, what I grew to love about the man was the gentle humility that seemed to seep and shine through the words and the story of his life. Joe Joyce I doubt the real Joe Joyce would make such a comment, especially about a Fury man who didn’t lie on his back, he took the 2 hardest punches in boxing history and got up and won the round. Show me another man who could do the same, you cannot.
And if this is the real Joe Joyce, a true fighting man himself, you know how difficult getting up from shots like that would be.

But obviously it's not as though Hardy's gone "Okay I'm doing his voice." rather than something he drew inspiration on as a base and built it up himself to what it eventually became to the point you couldn't directly listen to this and say yeah that's Bane's voice.
