Excellent advice...everything s available in Thailand 🇹🇭.
Razors are expensive in Thailand, not sure why lol.
I always bring a big pack with me.
Agree 100 %, just came back today from Thailand 🇹🇭, don’t carry to much things, you get all what you need, stay safe 🙏🇹🇭
Be safe my friend and get well soon 🙏
Thank you well appreciated, miss you 🙏🇹🇭❤️
I have a question regarding the power adapter/converter.
I will be going to Thailand (uses 220 volts) from the U.S. (uses 110 volts); should I bring a converter with me in order for me to charge my phone/laptop?
I will be staying with my relatives, who live in the rural areas of Thailand.
@@SV-kr9fu well bring one just in case unless u can buy it from here
@@LiveLoveThailand : Thank you for the response. When you mentioned that the outlets in Thailand are international, it kind of confused me a little bit (I know that many countries in Europe use 220 volts like in Thailand).
Yes, I will be bringing one, since I may have to use it at the airport in Korea anyway (a layover).
Thank you it’s really good information🙏🏽
Thanks for the useful info
Hope you have a nice weekend 😊
Thank you too
Thank you so much for updating us 👍
Welcome

Welcome
My friend Nice and useful information.😊
Thank you. Very informative
Great tips Arsen , another thing not to bring to save baggage weight is TOWELS i've stayed in £10 per night to £100 per night hotels and all provide fresh towels
Love this music 🎶 again 😊. When I came end of February, I had to bring all as I was moving 😅, but yes clothes are cheap & quite good quality, I have already bought some new things to replace some I brought ..
Re medications: if you need to bring prescription drugs, be sure to also bring the associated paperwork to prove that they have been prescribed. It helps at Customs!
Thanks for the updates another good video I will be traveling to Thailand this year
Welcome
You should always bring a little bit of Tylenol with you even if it’s available in the store. When you don’t feel well, you may just want to rest and not have to take a taxi going to find a pharmacy and such.
Another expert vlog!

Love Live ArSen
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🙏🙏🍺🍺🍺🍺
Also, a good idea to bring a converter that has usb ports because the pots in the airport and some places can be bugged to take your personal info from your phone and such.
That was good thx
What you don't allow for on Creditcard use is Most cards I have for example give a percentage back in my case up to 3% and 2nd point typically you get a better exchange rate than banks if you factor the buy and sell rates. So I think you find it works out very similar using a Creditcard. Well at least for me it would be. Very similar to Vietnam lot places add a surcharge of3%
Thank you for all information enjoy your holyday ❤
Welcome
idk but I was missing a good rain jacket, sure you can manage with cheap plastic ones, but Im def getting a good one before my next trip
very informative vlog.........
Good video ❤👍👍👍
I prefer a mix of cash and debit card, kept separate to avoid theft or loss. The credit card is for dire emergency
Using your debit card costs 220 baht per withdrawal so keep its use down
It might be more expensive to use your debit card in the ATM in Thailand, but it offers security, if you loose your card you can get an emergency number from your bank so you will not be with out money, If you loose cash it is gone
For taxi I use Nam's taxi service with lady drivers great service and they drive sensible
Good to know
Any link to Nam’s taxi service?
Lose, not loose
Good job Keep it up
Love it
Regarding money, I am in the Uk. If you take £ 50-pound notes to Thailand you get a far higher rate to the pound in Thai BACs
Yup
Superb video though 😀🙏
I booked a hotel for three nights as that should give me enough time to find out in which part of the city (Chiang Mai) I want to live (near private primary schools, Mosque and Halal food) but the site then suggested I rent a car with them too. Their cost for three days 2 334 EUROS!!! I could buy a used car for that price!
ALWAYS bring your prescription meds and if you are like me, over 180 cm or "bigger", bring the clothes and footwear you'll need. I'm a size 46-47 shoe and when in china, malaysia and even turkey, they were extremely difficult to find and then with few varieties.

Where to buy cheap t-shirts and shorts in Thailand? I looked in the malls but everything was very expensive. Here in the US I buy all my clothes at Walmart 😁
Pratunam or Chatuchak
@@LiveLoveThailand thx, I'll look there
Welcome
Hey, I'm going to be in Thailand soon. I know this is a stretch but I'd love to make some content with you while I am there. Dinner and drinks on me!!
Many Bank Debit Cards don’t have international transaction fees now. WeChat or other payment apps are also the lowest cost method to spend your money.
I misss bangkok😅.. in 2 day will arrived in bangkok😍😍😍
I noticed that there are different rates of different notes in euros. For example for the notes of €100-€50 is 36.50 but the €20 below is 36.45. I just dont get it why. In my home country it doesn't matter if it's 100 or €20 its just the same rates for all.
Overall we enjoyed the chaotic and lively vibes of Bangkok.
You are right
Great advice and things to keep in mind. I sadly will bring my adapter just so that way I can charge my phone on the plane. I agree dont need a lot of stuff so remember you dont need to bring the kitchen sink with you lol.
I am assuming you are in the U.S. or North America, which uses 110-120 volts, right?
The adapter/converter is not all that big, right?
@@SV-kr9fu no it is not that big and yes I am in the US.
@@rebeccal.672 : I know that when I was young (about 30 years ago), even a small converter was about 5-10 lbs. But nowadays, it is just a light & small one (based on what I saw on Amazon). I have to get one myself before going to Thailand.
I'm planning to visit Chiang Mai. Can you make a video about Chiang Mai? Places to visit and accommodation. Thanks a lot.
Very soon
Hello Arsen, are you a permanent resident of thai or you just travel a whole lot to Thailand..
I only bring 5000 baht in on arrival and to be honest paying $9 AUD to get 20000 baht from an atm is nothing as I then don't need to carry loads of cash everywhere
Hello Arsen. If I use my Credit Card to pay hotels and/or any other big expense...Am I going to be charged in Thailand for doing that ?
U should check the international fees with your local bank

🤣😁😂
Shoes, I wear 8.5 wide, you can not find them in Thailand. If you have half sizes or any wide, Bring with you, I live in Pattaya Little over year and a half. If you are coming from USA and if bring electric razor or tooth brush Yes you will need Eclectic adaptor 220V hear not 110V.
Hard to get shoes above uk 11 too , some online do
I will visit bangkok next week. From the weather forecast, there will be a alot of rain. How to enjoy bangkok while it rains ?
Not everyday rain do no worries and if it rains hit the malls
@@LiveLoveThailand noted, thank you
Really appreciate your videos, really help for us who will visit bangkok / thai
Does not rain all day either 😊
Bonus free tip: Don‘t bring winter cloths with you …
Hello butterfl video
😊😊😉🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👌
when the best time to go thailand not hot no rain what month
Never not hot 🥵 😅
There is a joke about Thailand; Thailand has 2 reasons: hot and hot as fvck.
The best time to go to Thailand, weather-wise, is in the winter (December to February), which would be only regular hot. But keep in mind that it is the busy season, so the airfares and everything else will be more expensive as well. Also, there would be a lot of Aussies that are vacationing in Thailand during those months (those are the summer months in Australia).
Wait I dont get it. Do they still have to wear masks there ?
Nice videos ! but I can notice you are a guy ahahahah
Personally I need my 10 different daily cream & my clothes for summer I love !
But yes, I think I'm going take few clothes, but for 2 monthes, I need a min of stuff...
Thanks for your videos, they help me malking me an idea of my trip
I don't use cc :|
this is not a correct information. Using credit cards in Thailand is perfectly ok. it could depend of course on bank you use (in your home country) but for instance in USA many credit cards do not have " Foreign Fee" and exchange rates are almost perfect. I am talking about using credit cards to pay for things and not to take cash out. Taking cash out from credit card is called "cash advance" and is never good idea to do. Also there are some debit cards in USA like Charles Schwab that refund ALL ATM fees at the end of the month. so even if are charged 200 THB every time you take cash from ATM- Schwab will refund it .
Do not carry too much cash. it is not a good idea

Disagree a bit on the toiletries. It is a pain in the rear to get stick deodorant. Roll on and spray is easy.
It is also very difficult to find skin care products that do not include whitening.
If you shop around, there is credit cards doesn't charge international use fees and foreign exchange fees. I enjoyed using my bank of America card when I traveled to Vietnam and Thailand, September to December 2022. To get cash, I have citibank. I went to centralworld to get cash from citibank.
Correct, many Bank Debit Cards don’t have international transaction fees now. WeChat or other payment apps are also the lowest cost method to spend your money.
There’s a Citibank branch in Bangkok??
3 things…. Shorts, sunscreen and a beer coolie 😜
