So you need to get into the UEFI BIOS? well I will show you how to get into BIOS quickly with simple command shudown /r /fw

@@maggnettaI took this out 2 hours ago It took just 2 hours for the window to open as input was not supported and even the BIOS was not resolved. 😂
You don’t need to enter as an admin. If you want to go to the advanced boot options instead, substitute /fw for /o. If you add “/t 1” that will aide the process to start after 1 second and remove the need to wait.

@@ChimaevMikelson you really wrote cap and then put the emoji 5900x asus tuf 3080 oc 32gb ram m.2 corsair mp600 and Samsung 980 pro it's pretty old now had around 3 years but still a beast
@@troytheking7559yea my keyboard connects like 1 minute after my pc is on idk why I think my keyboard is dying (its 8 years old now and on its third pc) and i just moved to ddr5 i9 13900k and couldn't get into bios on my new motherboard for the same reason as you

This really helps since PC are getting faster its hard to press "DEL" or "F12"
To my knowledge, this will only work if you have a UEFI-compatible motherboard and have Windows set up in UEFI mode (as opposed to Legacy/CSM). Just in case anyone wonders why it might not work for them, this might be one thing to check.
is there any other solution for someone with legacy bios
@@markuschakera8324 As far as I know, the only way if you have Windows set up in legacy, but have a UEFI compatible motherboard, is to convert Windows disks to GPT/UEFI using the MBR2GPT command line tool (experimental, you may break Windows and/or lose data, perform backup first) or do a full disk clean and then fresh install Windows while booting Windows Setup in UEFI mode aa opposed to Legacy mode.
Other than this, there is no way to enter BIOS directly from Windows in Legacy mode to my knowledge, and you'll have to manually hit the BIOS hotkey during startup each time you want to enter into it.
@@Radidsh my problem is just that my bios screen doesn't show at all, and ive tried stopping fast boot and all that, but even spanning keys dont work.
@@markuschakera8324 If I understand correctly, it boots to Windows just fine, but there are difficulties entering the BIOS? Which computer do you have?
My stuff is Legacy and in quick boot mode. So my keyboard button won’t even work to get into my bios at all.

My computer refuses to go into bios. Skips the starting screen where they show logo and how to go into bios and takes me directly to password screen. Then I did this it’s been 15 minutes and still waiting the computers running but the screen is black.

Mine didn’t enter the bios mine entered into choose an option
"shutdown /r /fw" doesn't work,
but "shutdown -r -fw" works
Code worked then black screen and no signal.
Different system versions have different commands i assume.
To restart faster, instead of "shutdown -r -fw", type "shutdown -r -fw -t 1"

My pc is hp elitedeck 800 g1 sff and it says:
Diagnostics f2
Boot menu f9
Computer setup f10
System recovery f11
Network setup f12
ME setup ctrl+p

What do I do if I don't have a proper boot device and I need to select one, but I have setting to where my keyboard don't turn on till the windows has been launched therefore I can't press del for bios and I can't get into windows cuz I need to select the boot device (I have a proper boot I just need to select it)

you missed the t out of the description command!
It recognized the code, let me close and then the screen went black and said no signal. I also had to use dashes instead of forward slashes. I’m starting to feel like I will never get back into bios.

Guys spam alt+f4 and it fixed I tryed it guys and ut work

I’ve seen driver conflicts cause this, mainly with Intel chipset drivers first provided by Windows then installing an official Intel driver on top of it. Either back up everything and factory reset it, or install Windows on a cheap drive then swap them out and perform a factory reset.

Its literally the BIOS but more advanced.
It has WAY MORE support and features and is more user-friendly.
Also it boots faster and is more secure
@@AI.familyguy booting faster is an advantage I'll agree. I'm on the fence on if you need uefi to have more features in a bios. Used friendly, I'm old enough to remember the first 'mouse bios' on a 486 early Pentium motherboards. That was nice and user friendly, then they went all minimal again.
