  • In this prehistoric RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 Wacky Worlds scenario, Coastersaurus, the objective is to cram 2700 guests into the park as possible by the end of year 4. The park is split in half by a huge canyon, adding complexity and difficulty to the scenario.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 are Theme Park Management Simulation games, created by the legendary Chris Sawyer. In this video, I am playing OpenRCT2, a modded version of the game that introduces some bug fixes, cool new features, and quality of life improvements. If you own RCT2 (or both RCT1 and RCT2), you can play OpenRCT2 as well!
Time Twister is the second expansion of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

These playthroughs have quickly become my favourite let's play of RCT. The way you play through the parks feels the most natural to how I would play and makes for a very enjoyable watch.

I just want to tell you, viewer-to-creator, that part of your appeal *is* that you sometimes go off on tangents you don't give proper context to. The way you immerse yourself in playing RCT is enjoyable to watch, even if you might feel a little embarrassed by it during editing. (All self-editors feel this way, regardless of medium, btw.) I mean this wholly as an affirmation, but your "derpiness" is charming - like, every time you forget to add a photo section, or build a coaster track straight into the ride's entrance/exit, that shit is fun and engaging. And because that's just how you are and how you play, it works really well as a semi-podcast/LP/nostalgia-trip. Have a nice week!

Hey that means a lot, thanks! I mean, of course I’ll do my best to polish up my production, but it’s encouraging to hear that imperfections are part of the appeal.

@@azungu1190 He's right; the style is perfect, relaxing, pleasantly engaging, and very natural. You're doing great, and I'd not watch anyone else for this content.

You missed the flying coaster at the start, you had a coaster already 🤣

      … how on-brand for me 😅
I would make the excuse that recording while playing makes me a little scatter-brained, but the truth is I’m like that in real life too 🤣🤣🤣

@@azungu1190 yeah the coaster is actually really camouflaged haha, so I don’t blame you for missing the coaster.

Good park. But I wonder why you always unintentionally forge to put an on-ride photo on your coasters? For me, I usually put them on log flumes or on coasters that reach 50+mph, but everyone is different. Park looks great in the end.

Sweet another video. I haven't beaten this cause I hated the landscape. Remember if you need money put a balloon stall or any stall facing the exit. I even put the first aid stall facing the exit and peeps do use it. Also I'm surprised you didn't fix the double paths. God bless and keep up the good work.

I used to fix the double paths, but I think the OpenRCT2 devs improved the path finding algorithm, and as my focus has shifted from effectiveness to aesthetics (or somewhere in between), I’m not as fussed with the suboptimal path layout.
      Thanks for watching! ❤️

I just hate this scenario! Why is it in the challenging category? It’s an expert park! You literally have to operate both sides and get a high amount of guests in 4 years
    But good work on it
