This is such an gorgeous video. Shot so beautifully and with a pleasant relaxing background music. Love the fact that the music is soft enough to let through the ambient sounds. Masterpiece!!!
A beautiful meditation to have the ambient sounds.🙏
I hiked these trails back in 1988. They’ve made some nice improvements since then. Great storytelling, Kraig. Very well done!
You just fixed my sunday, this is what I needed to and why I subscribed to your channel.
I lived in NZ and hiked these trails 2019, thank you for this CZcams.
Bro, as a kiwi who gets out into the hills you've done us proud- one of the best Ive ever seen!
I haven’t been on this channel for about a year. I forgot how wonderful his videos make me feel. I’m thankful for him and people like him.
How beautiful & blessed your journey walking through captivating geographical continents Italy/ Austtiya Dolamites to Alpha rang , wonderful heaven Nepal to Us ,Canada to Serene New Zealand so comfort to our eyes watching all your videos but the same time how hard the time and conditions you experience during your journey it's relax , spiritual & calm peace of mind watching this with wishpering background music thanks 🙏 God bless wishing you all the best
Paradise on earth. Just wow, Kraig, what a spectacular video and experience... Specially loved that lake by the mountains where you had a nap. Amazing work, truly...
I called NZ, specifically the south island home for two years. My partner and I spent so much time hiking through beech forest and tussocks, and the sounds of the forest there really sounded like home to me. When I saw you where hiking through the south island before these videos where published I was so excited. I knew listening to the audio would bring me right back and it totally has.
Thank you, you brought some tears to my eyes listening to the birds there again. I hope the Kea's and Weka's didn't steal anything too important from you haha!
So beautiful. I can watch this again and again. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for posting this summary of your tramping in New Zealand. I really enjoyed watching it. I think the scenery at the very end is stunning.
I am going to save up and fly to Christchurch next late December to celebrate New Years. Then take the ferry over to New Plymouth to check out the New Zealand Gas to Gas plant I worked on the design for in the early 1980's. Beautiful people. Beautiful natural scenery.
Kraig, you've that meditative persona which enlightens all of us. ❤😊
Beautifully shot and edited video Kraig. Genuinely inspirational🙂
21:42 is the best part. I aspire to capture moments like this
Bro these videos are just so wonderful that its hard to put it into words. Thank you!
Fantastic photography; it really captures the essence of these tracks.
More than 20 years ago, I did the Kepler/Routeburn/Milford Tracks back-to-back as well, and it looks like not a lot has changed since then (in fact many of the scenes you parked your camera at were the same spots I took film photos from).
Note for viewers: this version of the Milford Track experience is the 'guided walk', which costs $2.5k per person, instead of about $300 for the 'freedom walk'.
Thank you very much for the sea of beauty and positivity! New Zealand is fantastic, fabulous.
Thank you for good content, Kraig. Much appreciated.
Breathtaking sceneries!👏
Once again a nice video, thanks for sharing 😊
Superb video content Kraig. I assume the lake past the Harris Shelter was Lake Wilson, I've not been into there, but it looks fantastic. I did the Routeburn last year and had perfect weather like you. Kepler for me in two weeks time. Cheers for sharing quality content.
the fact that you got great takes of those endangered birds! awesome!
Unreal scenes man, another amazing video!
Would be cool to see you complete some of Australia's hikes, we've got some doozys!
Your videos - Source of Peace! 😮❤️

@kraigadams Sweet!! Love your vids - inspired me to lock in the Milford Track for next year. Looks INCREDIBLE.
thanks for this extraordinary video, hope Canada has any organization/community similar like this.
Thank you for the video, very nice work!~👍 But I'm curious about how this video was filmed. Did you film it all by yourself? If so, doesn't every shot require setting up the equipment first, then walking past the camera (sometimes from a distance), and finally going back to get the equipment?
Amazing hike from New Zealand.
great video, thanks!
Great landscape view. I thing it good for forest healing
It is beautiful
I live in cold Russia, but always wanted to live in NZ, because there are no humans

Really enjoyed your video. Beautiful scenery. What size is your small yellow dry bag with the window at the 44:10 timestamp? I've not found one that small with a see thru window. Thanks 🙂
should have it in my gear list here: linktr.ee/kraig
This honestly looks like a different planet. The vegetation is so divers and unique.

NOTE ON REGIONAL NAMES IN NEW ZEALAND
a) in New Zealand English we precede geographic regions with the definite article "the"
b) we don't really think about it, here, but most of New Zealand regional names are oriented to the compass and their geographical position
c) the northern-most island is called The North Island,
d) the middle (largest) island is called The South Island
e) the smallest, southern-most island is Stewart Island [named for an early 19th C. whaler captain]
d) the northern-most province of the North Island is Northland
e) the northern-most point of land in Northland is called North Cape
f) running south to north up the western coast of the entire length of the South Island, are the Southern Alps.
g) the most easterly point of land of the North Island is the East Cape
h) the southern-most province of the South Island ( which includes Stewart Island) is called Southland [fun fact- I was born and raised there]
i) the western-most province of the South Island is called Westland
g) if you want to refer to the entire coast of the island you are on, i.e. the coast nearest Australia, we refer to them both as the West Coast. Context determines the West Coast of which island. If no context is given, we mean the West Coast of the South Island.
I'm planning on doing the first three hikes next January. Trying to plan it now and wondering if you have any insight on logistically the order that would work best to hike them in.
Very cool !
sublime.
5:41 *pat* *pat* 😚

Best wishes for your upcoming birthday
Can i ask? do u have a camera man or its just you putting and setting up the camera?
It's look easy for coming there 😮
Kraig! Are you up for an expedition? moved to NZ and would be honoured to show you the most remote spots on the South Island
Beautiful part of the world 🌎. Never been there. 😊
Is this a compilation of the previous uploads or new footage?
Looks like a re-upload
Очень красиво!

Algún día iré a hacer campin😊
thank you for this CZcams.
esse aqui vai ser o vídeo oficial dos dias de faxina
💯
I love you man
Is it chance to do hiking in NZ without the car ?
Hi, you should do a small reminder to put a like at the end. For example, I usually forget to like videos I enjoy and these reminder can be useful. You're doing an amazing job!
Where do you get your music? Do you pay for it?
I found inner peace by watching this vid
Using a tripod as a hiking pole just opened my horizon!hhh
I don't understand why this video has so few views?
New Zealand is wonderful!
why did you all dip your feet in the yellow buckets of water?
It helps kill any potential pests/invasive species which could be really bad for NZ because it's so isolated
Decontamination process
New Zealand is pretty strict with controlling invasive pests.
So beautiful
Ke Indonesia om
Gunung nya banyak
Why did they need to tread their foot on the yellow tank with a little water after getting off the boat?
消毒
@@user-xs1ru2np4r then why?我就是想问为什么要消毒 谢谢回答
Does anyone know what the names of the birds were?

You spend a lot of time in nature. It almost feels like a form of meditation. Can you talk about your relationship with nature? Now, more than ever, we need to focus our attention on nature. How do you feel?
I have a half finished 40' Skoolie over in Monroe if you're open to trade
You are welcome to watch a course for the greater good - "SENTENTIA OPTIMUM"...
