I love how the alien in the game has absolutely no advanced technology. It just has the idea to build a pyramid.

Since there is a meteor, ik gonna guess he needs to build a pyramid in like 35 days so the alien / they can go off world and don't die from the meteor strike
The pyramid is a magic-powered spaceship, I'm guessing since the alien says "Pyramid Goes Up"

When the skeletons die in the day time they form a pile of bones, and at night the bones come back together, as well as new skeletons spawning in. You can predict where at least some skeletons will appear from that
Yeah I don't understand how he didn't see them. There's nothing on the map! It's a completely blank space except for the obvious sleeping skeleton.
Yep, it would also seem that skeletons don't spawn near buildings. Only wake up near them.
Sometimes I think he purposely ignores things like that to get us to comment about it
@@thedoomofred5174 and sometimes it's the fact that he's recording and trying to think of what he's going to say next. Although I wouldn't put it past him to have seen it and ignored it to drive up engagement, since it doesn't hurt any
Is it possible to have the people go in the houses at night? It seems a bit odd that they don't sleep and have to spend the entire night running from skeletons. Or maybe collect the bones during the day and use them as a resource?
ive once been in one of those towns for a holiday in egypt, the flat bread was just too good and the tour guide had a really good sense of humor.

Try to trap the skeletons with the fence. You see where the skeletons are during the day, so you can build around them, then have your people stand around and shoot them.
If you can get the undead architects to die in a pile you can make a cage with the walls during the day, so you have a skeleton pen. If you kill them they respawn, but if you get them in a pen you’re all set.
A zoo of architects sounds fun

I mean he sort of was with the movement to the left and up then down but it ballooned into a not-so strong shape

I love sokpop games, they have such a comfy art style. Their games don’t always hit the mark, but their experimental nature makes them worth the price of admission
I've played this game before and found it can be very fun. A couple warnings for later on though...
1. Skeletons which die right next to a closed gate can occasionally spawn the next night inside the gate.
2. If you enclose an area with walls, new skeletons can still spawn inside the walls if the buildings aren't close enough.
These bugs might have been patched since the last time I played it, but I doubt it...

The skeletons die permanently when you kill them, but spawn again where they collapse when it turns day time
Boosh! More episodes! This oddly reminds me of Mini Motorways; very slow peaceful pace to start then I can imagine it becomes chaos.

I think a lot of sokpop games are like this, you're not supposed to have long intricate saves usually as they want to encourage failing and trying again not from the beginning but with your new knowledge. It's why they have very minimal tutorials at most, it's why they can make such a high volume of games, and it's why there's no pausing

such a great playthrough. Just a suggestion that at night instead of running around the town, I think u can control the villagers / aliens to discover for more aliens, which increases manpower!

I've never actually beaten the game, but I have it and have attempted many times. The objective is to build the pyramid before the asteroid destroys the world. Very challenging little game, without feeling impossible (despite me literally never completing it haha)
Does the asteroid arrive at a fixed time? Or is it affected by how fast you progress?
@@adrianthoroughgood1191 it is fixed, as far as I've noticed. You get the progress bar and it will always arrive on day 36ish (don't remember exactly, but it's always the same). But the warning bar doesn't appear until you meet the alien. If you wait, it will just be closer when you meet him, so it's better to find him to get an extra worker.
