What an array of beautiful jackets 😍
Thank you so much for your comment. It was fun to talk about these garments and patterns in detail. 😊
Hi I love your videos. Always so inspirational. This week your quilted lined Nova Coat was so clever and creative. I am inspired to do the same to an ilford jacket/coat. I have lots of viscose challis scraps some quite large that I would love to use to make a quilted lining. Wondering if you have ever tried to quilt with viscose challis. Wondering if using spray starch might help in the construction of the patchwork. Please keep the videos coming they are great.
Hello, thank you for your comment. I have not tried quilting with larger viscose challis pieces. I think a spray starch or even interfacing the pieces might work? To make the patchwork will be fine but to actually quilt will be tricky I would imagine as it will move quite a lot. It sounds like an amazing idea though and I am sure it will look fantastic 😊
Love the blouse, what pattern is it?, and I really love all your Jackets, good info about the linings.
Thank you, this blouse is the Bakerloo Blouse by Nina Lee London. It is really fun to make a wear. I am glad you found the info about the linings useful! Thanks for watching 😊
Lovely video, I love the Nova coat, thank you, you’ve inspired me to look at the possibilities of quilting.
Thank you for your comment. Quilting is a wonderful (well I think so) and it can also create such beautiful garments too! Give it a go for sure if you are curious!

Wow!! The quilting in the green coat is beautiful. I'd love to try this in a similar coat pattern. What a lovely way to use up scraps. Love your videos and look forward to them each week ❤😊
Thank you for your comment. I really enjoyed the quilt lining and I am sure you would too! It was quite time consuming but definitely worth it 😊

Just bought the Nova coat pattern, my first coat. It doesn’t look too scary and I’ve bought affordable fabrics so if it goes wrong it won’t be disaster!
Thank you for our comment, I am sure your Nova coat will be great! The construction is unusual bit not to tricky! I hope you have fun making it 😊
Your coats and jackets are beautiful Amelia. I have 2 Nova’s and about to have a go at the Ilford. Have never seen the stacker jacket so enjoyed getting to see yours. thank-you.😊

Lovely collection of jackets, I’m about to make The Frankie from sew over it patterns, I hope it turns out as well as your jackets! ❤
Thank you for your comment. I am sure you will make a wonderful Frankie jacket and will really enjoy the process too!
Wow, love all of these. For the quilted Ilford jacket, did you have any difficulty sewing all that thickness? Thank you😊
Thank you so much for your comment. The quilting fabric is not actually that thick and the brushed cotton is also not too thick so it was generally okay to handle. I did have to take my time during key points though.
What size is your nova coats?
Thank you for your comment, I have made a size three for my Nova coats. They are still quite roomy 😊
