Ser Twenty Of House Goodmen I think it's more the dialogue he has trouble with. He even says he isn't good at writing dialogue. But he is one hell of a story teller.
His dialogues are great, watch his previous movies. People complain about Anakin but they forget who Anakin is and his dialogues make 100% sense. He's a great writer and director.
I get upset at the ignorance displayed in those who did not see George's vision and scope in the prequel trilogies. The clone wars helped flesh out the epic scale of those movies and give more time and attention that the limitations of a feature film could not provide. To date, this is the greatest show on television.
You have no idea how much I agree with you. To such an extend that I pretty much say the same thing to PT haters all the time. Anyone who tells you that George Lucas wasn't involved in the making of the Clone Wars series, you can show them this video; czcams.com/video/zvT3JPLDHBE/video.html (That's this video we're watching) I've seen an increasing number of people attempt to claim that one of the reasons the Clone Wars was so well done, as opposed to the official prequel trilogy that occupies the same Star Wars time period, is because it was written and produced by Star Wars fans, with little to no input from George Lucas at all. But, these people are clearly just projecting their own conclusions in place of the facts, because they're either grossly misinformed or being intentionally misleading to support their own personal agenda. Not only is he involved with virtually every aspect of the production, he sat at the head of the Lucasfilm Story Group table, with every idea and proposal for the show needing to pass through his approval before making it on the show. No character, plot detail, or sentiment from the EU, (or anywhere else) made it into production without first being approved by George Lucas himself. So, don't let anyone try to tell you the reason any particular "Legends" concept or content made it on to the show was because George Lucas wasn't involved in the decision making process. Because that's the OPPOSITE of the truth. (I'm just sayin') 🤜💥🤛
Exactly, most people find this as an excuse to bash the prequels,he is the one that created this show in the first place, without him there wouldnt have been the clone wars
It's so sucky that Disney cancelled it. I'm glad that they allowed them to come back for the final few eps, but come on. This show is one of the best things in Star Wars and animation in general. And they cut it off short.
Gaming Central well let’s see. Clearly Filoni is incompetent considering he has only one good series under his belt cos resistance is garbage as is rebels and George won’t be working on this season so it won’t be Star Wars, also Disney will order them to kiddyfy the series to be dumber and lighter so people won’t die. Thus it’s gonna suck.
Gaming Central key phrase several episodes not all 3 seasons. If he’d directed all 3 seasons then I’d say yes but he only directed a few episodes of season 1 which doesn’t count
7:25 - George breaking down one of the unproduced episodes of Clone Wars From the looks of it, it appears as though this would've been an Anakin and Padme arc where they would've returned to Mon Calamari.

While I know full well that all good things come to an end, my view of Disney and sadly, Filoni himself, has been rather tainted by the knowledge that so much of Clone Wars was - and will probably remain - unfinished. There were so many incredible stories left to tell. Clone Wars had this magic about it that Rebels really hasn't captured, and I highly doubt ever will. It's a rather infuriating thing.
People completely fail to realise since its been years but Disney didnt cancel the clone wars because they are evil and dont "understand" star wars, it was canceled because viewship was way down, the clone wars time was up, if Disney had not bought star wars the show wouldve still ended
@@susan2299 The difference is that Lucasfilm was a private, independent studio before the Disney purchase, and the Clone Wars was always a passion project for Lucas. This was the same guy who invested millions in production on Star Wars Detours before getting any kind of network deal for it, a show that had 39 completed episodes and 60+ more planned and yet will likely never see the light of day - not that it necessarily should, but it shows how Lucas was willing to invest in projects that he cared about. If Clone Wars was cancelled by Cartoon Network he would have shopped around to find another network, or come up with a streaming solution to get those last couple seasons out, rather than cancelling it mid-production like Disney did.
