I picked 2: On June 6th I was on the phone with my best friend since high school….50 years ago. She had a heart attack on the phone with me. The sounds haunt me. I called all the phones in her house and was able to alert her husband. I live far away. They went to hospital but she didn’t make it. Her husband is sending me a ticket to fly there for her celebration of life Sept 8. I just haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

We weren’t talking about HS… she had a heart attack on the phone with me and I can’t get the noises from her that I heard out of my head. She was resuscitated but died at the hospital. I’m having a tough time with the experience… I can only find some solace that she wasn’t alone when she had the heart attack as I was calling out her name on the phone.
Blessings sis. I know it’s hard and heavy on your heart I have walked that path. Coming up on 2 years I still miss her, cry, and love her deeply. She was my best friend and sister since we were 12 years old. With time it gets easier but the lost still hurts.

I love you dee thank you! I cried some tears during my pick of #2 the birds set free and the shackles coming off get wrists. One of my favorite songs is Sia " bird set free" and one been fighting hard and strong and felt like I've been constantly breaking my wings :( ripped off by others . ( as I said that I seem Cinderella, her gown being ripped and destroyed by her jealous step sisters and she worked so hard at that dress with her birds and the mice friends in hopes of going to the ball and she was made fun of and denied validation of being worthy of it. But her heart kept trying to find joy even in the darkest of aloneness with her animal friends. I'm breaking free in the best way possible ❤ I love you so much you really mean a lot to me!
