I wonder if crypto would be good if he was able to pull out his drone and enable and following drone that would just follow your location. That would be good to make him more useful, and it would be balanced because people can shoot it in the air
I am a Wattson main so I may be a little biased in this take, but I find Wattson to be alot better for solo queueing than Caustic. Dont get me wrong, Caustic is a great legend and he definitely earns his spot in A tier, but when I solo queue I get caught out in the open alot and I feel like Wattsons hitbox definitely helps in certain situations. I also find Wattson to be better at defending areas just because I know how to hold down almost any spot and the right place to put my ult. I feel like Caustic gets naded out alot which is why hes better for a coordinated offense than defense (in my opinion). If you dont like big characters I feel like Wattson is a valid alternative, you just have to make sure that your team can compensate in aggression because Wattson lacks any sort of offensive abilities. There is also alot more nuance to Wattson than Caustic and I dont blame people if they just wanna throw gas traps instead of learn of all the Wattson fence tricks and worry about placing your ult in the perfect spot to where it wont get shot out.
Vantage in C tier? How?
Rink scans, people scans, free long range, free movement, free enemy team info, easy escape options. She’s literally the best solo queue legend currently.
I disagree, because you have to choose out of those 2 scans, you don’t just get both. The enemy info isn’t hard to get by shooting 1 bullet at someone, for armor info. The amount of players alive, is decently useful. But I wouldn’t say it’s easy escape, it’s not the hardest thing to shoot out of the air. I don’t think it is better then the other options for ranked above it, solo queue characters will just rank lower anyway because ranked is meant to be played with a squad. It just… isn’t ideal currently, no big deal though. I’m also at the highest rank, and I’ve hardly had issues against vantage / seen them anyway.

@@Rogueyy unfortunately this shows how little you know about the character right off the bat :/ you DO get both. People scans are built in, ring scans are a perk. Learn the characters before ranking! 🙌
Also, her team info isn’t just for “finding out armor” lol. It’s for seeing how many are in a squad so you know where the easy kills are.

Crypto doesnt take team work. His drone is useful for team fight and positioning. You can play him aggresive and passive, he gets the most value out of any recon for solo que. Grabbing reboots, rebooting, beacons, and checking teams near by.
Am a crypto main and solo Que to masters every season, it’s not about the legend, is the player

yeah crypto is very underrated if played well and gets hated on for no reason
I thought rev would be a tier now he’s annoying with his shield but it’s pretty easy to counter.

i think solo queue Crypto as a good cypto player is really good you just have to use your mic and not be shy but also crypto is the hardest charcter in the game to play correctly
