You don’t actually have to wait for Echo to get there for Vantage. You just need to hold the ability button without having Echo pre-placed and it’s a more vertical Revenant jump.

True but it’s still a long windup, like either make it so it’s no wind up or shorter windup when you hold, or holding is placement and tapping is activating (assuming there is no windup). I think a buff like that would be good with her having a huge hitbox and the fact that it is sometimes very easy to shoot her out of her tactical.

@@cainacero2160 ok but it feels longer than the others, rev can at least slide and move while charging, and she has a huge hitbox that can easily get shot before and during her tac, without fortified to help her. Rev is tall yes, but not built like Gibby or Newcastle and still has sustain unlike Vantage.
For vantage, yes she does have to wait, and so does revenant. Vantage also has what revenant doesn’t, vertical air movement. You can also just recall echo instead of moving it around

Wattson's fences aren't as straightforward as they seem. The vast majority will fence doors, hallways, etc. But that's not their only purpose; don't forget that you can place nodes, which are hard to detect, and fence hostiles in point-blank range, giving them stun that means at least a +50% chance to win a contest. Also, about crypto, he can rez teammates using his drone (beacons) and scan banners (on the wall) to get info about nearby squads (Essential for ranked). And regarding Vantage, if you hold your tactical while echo is holstered, you'll perform a jump instantaneously.
And don’t forget the door trick for Wattson, I do think his rank for them mostly work.

also on conduit. he forgets that under conduit’s tactical, you also take reduced damage.
Wattson should be at least A tier. For most players it’s not that useful but it has for sure one of the highest skill ceilings, and tons of different techniques.
Plus not to mention aggressive fencing makes her fences the most versatile legend in the game
I do feel it has competitive viability, but it is a little situational since most of the time, the enemy can get an angle to break the trap
The tac is B tier at most it has great potential, but you have to be a FENCE GOD

You should recall Echo every single time you use the ability. Unless you're planning an escape route ahead (e.g. when crafting on a replicator), there's no reason to place him in the world.
Vantage's tactical is way better than Revenant's. Easily.
rev has more spontaneous movement, and in fights waiting for echo to fly out can be the difference of life and death, if you dont use double jump you gt pulled down, and if you do you lose momentum. not a bad ability just flawed
Revs tactical and Vantage tactical are so similar I'm surprised they're in separate places. Macro kinda has a weird way of grading things across all his tier lists though
@@t8ert0t32 I still think Vantage's is stronger, since it's faster, easier to use, on a shorter cooldown (20s vs. Revenant's 25s) and provides much more verticality. In my opinion, it's not bad nor flawed.
you don't have to wait for echo to fly out. you start jumping before he's even in position. literally the only downside is the windup which is way shorter than revenant's@@t8ert0t32

I know it’s just your opinion but Octane in C tier and even Wraith and Pathfinder in A tier is wild. It’s also a lot easier to shoot Horizon in her tactical after her nerf but it is very versatile.
Octane tactical should be really good, but he’s right you lose too much health. I think you should only lose like 5% health max per stim. Maybe you should not even lose health at all, but the stim then has a 5-8 second cooldown between stims with no health damage
If you hold vantages tactical it deploys instantly. It has the second highest Verticality and you can recall echo instantly after the jump so you dont wait for it
Pro tip, look at the direction,you want to go in as vantage and hold your tactcal button. You wont have to relocate echo
I have critiques for some of the reasonings behind this list, but I also totally agree with each and every placement. Excellent video. Highly informative.
As a 40k kill wattson main she deserves S tier but only if she is in the right hands you have to be aggressive
Something small I think loba has though is that she can tp through windows, and an even smaller thing is it’s harder to fall off the edge on Olympus (it happens)
Or if you fall off it’s easier to get back up with her because of how fast she is at moving a short distance
True, one of the only, if not, the only tactical that can get you through tight spaces even if it’s selfishly, the only other legend who can do that is Ash, but that’s her ult and her team can obviously go too.
I love loba even back when her bracelet wouldn't go through windows. However, it really isn't good. There is a massive audio cue that everyone hears. It's visible so you know where she went. Finally it's just so stupid that you have to stop and wait for that things because it's slow; if you took a baseball and threw it I promise you that that ball is going twice the speed of that bracelet. Now that that the window issue is fixed, I do like it for surprise attacks as if you coordinate with teammates to enter that room right after you blink in as the entire team will turn their focus on you.

@@user-hn3ru5wi2z thats because you need to RECALL ECHO right after using the tactical. Recalling and sending Echo out whenever you use Vantage's tactical is as fast as Revenant's tactical (Rev's tactical animation takes as long as Echo reaching your desired destination)
well revs goes futher than vantages if used right vantages cant let you do the movement revs can i play on controller so no tap strafing

I think you made a mistake with saying revenant’s tact is better than vantage’s when vantage’s not only goes farther, you get a double jump, and you have better vertically. Also her tact activated almost instantly. You just were not recalling echo and that’s why echo had to run to your new ping point
vantage being a tier below revenant is crazy when her tac is a revenant leap with a shorter cooldown farther distance and more variability, plus if you just recall echo after jumping to him you can launch him out and jump to him immediately

Make ash have 2 tactical, one hand ability and fuse knuckle cluster travel speed and she should be good (a bigger ark star projectile size as well as a passive would be cool)
A FACT FOR VANTAGE: if you have your little buddy echo stored (not flying around somewhere) you can just hold down the tactical button, he immediately flies to the location and the windup of the jump takes place simultaneously with echo flying to the promised location (like the moment echo starts to fly she charges her tactical so you dont have to wait for echo) and i think it is better than revenant, just because she has an effective cooldown of 15 seconds, goes roughly the same length as a full revenant jumo and she can automatically redirect at the end (and what I want to say is: ALWAYS have echo in your pocket and not flying around, since there is no reason to let him fly around at all)
Loba doesn't lose momentum after using a jump drive, they added that seasons ago if I'm remember correctly. 14:09 You lost momentum there probably because you were going up a different terrain.
Whyyyy!!!? As vantage, if you have the bat in your pocket you can just hold the tactical button and she starts charging it why the bat is flying to its location... Im mad that ppl say that its worse revenant when its just as fast in a way
I think I agree with most of these rankings whether I’d like to admit it or not, Caustic tac being ok makes sense, haven’t seen him enough to really know (good thing imo). I wish Wattson tac was better, but it can be too user friendly sometimes, making skill gaps far sometimes. Seer belongs below, but maybe bring something so he is at least playable. Vantage could probably get away with some good tactical buff or reworks and still not be super meta (something like taking away or reducing the windup, or making it so you hold to change Echo’s location and tap to immediately go to Echo). Loba tac should be a bit higher in my opinion as it is the only tactical to my knowledge that actually can get you through windows even if it’s selfishly (it’s also only one of two abilities that can do that I think). I also will only be throwing small Nessies at Macro because I only have the emote one not the big heirloom one 😭.
Honestly I love these, I don’t even play apex but it’s just really interesting to me for some reason
for loba, she doesn’t keep momentum macro but she does continue at sprint speed. loba nerd here, they made that a change a while ago

You know that wit vantage if you have echo recalled and with you and not out flying you js press and hold the tactical it automatically goes and you instantly jump to it, makes it real useful

Loba's tactical is actually better than wraith. Wraith doesn't have any verticality and she can be easily chased. Loba if thrown right, will guarantee a reset.
Pathy was SEVERLY underrated (it was top of A tier too lol). Its eveything you need in one. Vertical and horizontal movement, its really fast and hard to track, sends you stupid far, and the cooldown can be manipulated by not sliding. I may have even put it above Horizon (however horizon has team mobility and a free battery so prob bottom S+ for pathy
Watching this in season 20 is so funny. Cos macro suggested so many buffs that came true with the perk system
What I love about Catalyst tatical is I know when an enemy is appraching it. Helps me and my team prepare for their rush in. Espically when we dont have a scanner.
I love to play Mirage but he needs a buff😂. I would love to see an updated legendary skin tier list from Macro. But no skins from the previous video. Maybe also wait till the Final Fantasy skins drop. That Crypto skin lookin heat
I would put valk in B tier honestly because if you’re creative with it you can flush people out of hiding behind cover and break down doors and also apply pressure so bottom of b tier for me

Loba has a good individual movement with her bracelet. She can easily attack or escape from situations and reach places that other legends cannot, for example entering a building through the window bars.
Use this because I’m pretty sure octane was buffed and now he’s a lot faster than that so now I think he’s allowed to go into the ATA with the rest of them. The reason why is not because the speed boost because it not so help you with getting out of the area open by the ultimate to yeet yourself across the map
If you aim and just long pressed Vantage's tactical you don't have to wait for echo to arrive at his location and would just do the wind up animation and jump
I might be biased but the only reason why I would put race tactical in beta is the amount of time that you can just catch up to her and I'm not talking about it as octane just run towards her while she's running away from you

i like loba's tactical to teleport in buildings through windows; it's actually quite useful in lots of scenarios & i like how precise it is. also i think you lost momentum bc of the terriain !
As a pred vantage main. Vantage’s movement is extremely convenient as long as you don’t forget to call echo back. But the windup doesn’t take that long. I can’t remember a time the windup took too long. Only way you could fuck it up is because of personal error
11:15 oh man we were fighting a team off drop last night and we killed the first 2 enemies but the last one was a Vantage. She started running away but forgot to recall Echo so we basically followed Echo and hunted her down 😂 alot of Vantages seem to forget about that
Yes they forget about that so often. xD As a Vantage Main I always recall that flying rat xD Please when you have a Vantage teammate tell them to put that bat away it could cost you your life 😂

A interesting buff for wattson could be where instead of entering placement mode you could just throw them and if they are in range of another trap it automatically connects
I could see that working well, the thing about placement mode is it’s more precise and kinda helps you make sure you are placing a fence… although it would be nice for when I don’t wanna merge nodes just yet.

You would be surprised at just how often people dont shoot at a drone you throw out(not control) midfight because you know that they cant afford to look away from you.
I feel like he doesn't know that you can hold down the tactical on vantage to jump almost instantly and that keeping her bat on her at all times makes it faster
As a loba main, the biggest problem with her kit besides her non-existent passive is the tactical. Like you said it doesn't have much range, stops your movement, and doesn't let her shoot, but my biggest issue that I think would make a more viable pick if it got changed is that if you get knocked the ring stops existing, it should teleport you while down if you used it and got knocked.
Been Loving Revenant Recently.
You can hold the tac button while using echo, and no good advantage player ever has echo out it literally goes further than a revenant tac and also as far as a octane jumpad

They should let mirage make holograms of his teammates instead of himself. That would change the game like crazy
Wraith Tactical does provides you mobility in terms of verticality! You can climb slightly higher when using it!
Have you fought a good Octane using his stims properly and strafing while stiming in close range? It's broken! (sure 95% of Octanes are bots, but the rest are demons!)
Horizon's tactical need a nerf and she also needs a better audio like Octane who now does when he is airborn.
For Vantage, yes, you have to wait but the only thing that is holding her back is her hitbox (fridge size like Pathfinder) ( her tactical is made so you can use her ultimate sniper ability better. From high ground and that ability is the most strongest third party tool there is. You have to wait too on Revenant if you want to go far (charge time).
Three clones would be too strong for mirage! Maybe two (they have to do tests). Shooting clones gives enemies positions and draws their attention away very shortly. In normal lobbies I will do great with Mirage but in skilled ones no).
If you would keep your momentum after using Lobba bracelet it would be broken, you could just outflank enemies instantly and shoot at them while being invulnerable going from A to B (Pathfinder you can shoot in the air! Lobba you can't! And if you have half a brain you throw it and go to cover while it travels).
Wattson would be broken aswell if you could spam her fences, remember they already set up very quickly (even faster with her gen nearby) (again it depends on the player using the ability, you can pretrap doors and get easy kills in normal lobbies, in skilled ones not so much. They will look out for fences near doors)!
Next time when you do a video you should say if it's for average players or diamond + ones because abilities don't have the same rating depending on the skill of the person using them.
For Real? Rampart tactical A tier???? Are you out of your mind? I have 8k kills on rampart and top 3% best Rampart in the game. It is not A tier maybe B or C. It takes time to set up, you have to play static behind it and enemies can just nade you or flank you. Enemies can use it against you if you are not careful! It requires a lot of thinking to place and unplace. (Good thing is you can superglide of Rampart walls though).
Catalyst tactical is better than Caustic barrels that have been nerfed to the ground. It has way more health than Caustic barrels (300 compared to the 150 of barrels) and needs a direct line of sight on the core to be destrayed. You can place them in way that make them much harder for enemies to destroy. Also they do 15 damage a sec where Caustic barrels do 5 to start with! ( litterally 3 times more!)
Also I know you are rating abilities and not legends but abilities are used by legends who produce them, and Caustic hitbox is so big and easy to shoot at! Defending your Ferro fluid is easier to do when you don't have a hitbox of an elephant! Sure You have 15% more health but I prefer Having a Wattson tooth pick hitbox than a Caustic one with 15% more HP where my enemy can just close his eyes, hipfire and hit all his shots. And again, in average lobbies it does not make much difference but in skilled ones it does a huge one!

Yo Marco mirage can also locate enemies when his clone is shot at. The whole team can see the location of the people who shoot his clone.
If you pair ash tac with grenades it's pretty good. That's all. No more tips for you today
A cool buff for crypto would be for his drone to be 360°, at least when not controlling it so you don't have to micromanage it, and you can be crypto and not crypto's drone. I still feel like conduit should have 2 charges because she did it twice in her cinematic
Good list but Loba can move to any building and hold longer then most because any crack and she can dip tf out of there
The ability to highlight enemies is from cryptos passive not the drone itself so it's probably even worse if only considering the tactical itself

He can scan, safely rez, safely use recon beacons and see how many teams are nearby all with just ONE tactical.

cryptos drone dosent scan, thats jis passive ability, so u gut a drone that u can control and thats it no scan, its F tier, also octain is f tier cuz he dosent have his passive, you have to heal all the time
I'd say that octane stim should be in A tier, cuz if ur on pc and you learn to lurch strafe, it just makes you way more unhittable and unpredictable, it'd be S if it werent platform specific methinks
Wattson is at least B or A tier. On storm point at Pylon it can come in clutch when players go up the zip then they're forced to touch the fences. It also has a stun too!

Revenant is my main, js. I think his tactical is s tier because you left out using his ultimate when running from store and tactical cool down is cut in half so you can pounce multiple times unlike pathfinder.

I would have ranked Crypto higher because though it takes you out the fight, you get s ton of info with it, ping banners to know how many enemies around, get teammate banners from death box and can rez instantly. And can be a constant camera and doesn't need a cooldown.
a good wattson tactical buff is making her fence instantly turn on when you get off them

i think macro did vantages tactical pretty dirty, even tho he doesnt even know how to use it. u can just recall echo and hold down the tactical button to wherever ur pointing to fly there much faster.
Look I love crypto, I do consider myself one of the few. But everyone seems to forget that the only reason his drone scans AT ALL is the passive, yes I think it should be built in and not the passive, but it is. So the Drone in a vacuum is not a scan, it is just a spectate camera.
I say crypto A just because it still respawn in a instant but also check beacons and banner and scans so just for lots of info but no combat wise.

It's make sense for Wattson because with out her ultimate she can't Spam her tactical. But I can see where she gets a buff.

people dont really consider that ballistic tactical has literally no downsides, you should ALWAYS use it since you are always gonna get some value with literal no tradeoff, its not the best, but its way better than people think it is

Hear me out for Octane,have increasing damage for subsequent stims,the first in a while,no damage,the second with out waiting does 5,then 5,then 10,so on,unless you wait say,10 seconds between stims
As an Ash main, Arc Snare is way worse than it seems.
It looks better in the firing range because it stuns the dummies but in actual gameplay it doesn’t apply any movement penalty whatsoever.
When hit by an arc snare you get a 9 meter diameter to move around it which can be tugged even further to about 11 meters. The average strafe is less than 4 meters.
You’re only tethered for ~3 seconds which is too short of a period to tether someone, then throw a grenade. Along with this the radius you can move is so large you can just round a corner and not take damage from the grenade in 80% of scenarios.
If you’re within 7 meters of an Ash you cannot be Arc Snared because you’re within the range where Arc Snare won’t activate fast enough and it’ll just go through you.
Along with the fact that it can be deflected off of teammates and that you have to put your gun away when throwing it truly makes it F tier. Scrap the whole tactical.
I know Mirage's tactical isn't all that great but you can send the decoy really far, it almost acts as a scout lol. I've been playing Mirage lately and people fall for it ALL the time. If they shoot at it, they reveal their position which can be pretty useful. One of the most satisfying things in this game is a perfect bamboozle kill, and being the one who was bamboozled is incredibly humiliating. Sure, it's not that useful in general but I think it adds a layer of silliness to a game that many people take way too seriously.
Yea I use him even on ranked and as long as you control the clone people do fall for it
- Give Ash 2 tethers and make them not stack
- Reduce Crypto drone cooldown to be in line with other scan legends

Ok I’m not gonna say Ash’s tactical is good or deserving of being in a higher tier, but it’s honestly super easy to land. Launching it around corners or when trading shots with someone almost always works for me

I kind of disagree with Ash's. Its east af to land the snare because of how massive the hit box is, you can just throw it over cover and it hits people, and ive gotten a squad wipe by trapping all 3 people on the enemy team inside of a round 4 ring. 😂
The tactical would honestly be pretty strong with some tweaks, give her 2 of them and increase how quickly they come out and it might be a fairly strong tactical

Cool list, but the darks in your game are really dark. My screen used to be like that and would get killed by people i couldn't see in the dark
Hear me out, Mirage decoy when controlled should be allowed to also shoot fake bullets. To me that seems like it would be annoying and distracting like a decoy should
