considering the game is theoretically supposed to go on for a very long time they could at least have the music have a bit of a longer loop

They should do the Pokemon Puzzle League/Tetris attack/panel de pon thing where when you get to high up on the board, the music switches to a more intense version of itself.
This game is just 2048 with pachinko ball physics... and I'm all in for it.
And 2048 is just simplified Threes.

Not gonna lie, I thought this game was going to be one of those metanarrative horror games where the wife of the creator died and now is haunting his unfinished innocent-looking game. I'm surprised that is not the case.

I saw RTGame’s thumbnail for this before I clicked on Vinny’s video so I was fully expecting an actual horror game lmao
I was also expecting something like that, specifically because of the season.
When a game is this aggressively cutesy and innocent, I don't automatically assume it has a dark twist like some people do.
There's plenty of games that are just what they appear to be on the surface. Slime Rancher, for instance.
However, because this showed up completely out of nowhere, during the Halloween season, and even seemed to be going a bit viral, _that_ is what made me assume it had some dark secret.
The just one more game turning into hours is in high effect with this game.

Ah, it's one of those "Watching the decisions Vinny makes is infuriating, and I'm definitely going to have to play this myself afterwards, only to realize that I'm no better at it" kind of games.
Vinny's experience mirrored mine exactly for the first three games.
Game 1: Vague amusement, enjoying it more than I should
Game 2: "What happens if I just drop them all in the middle and don't do anything?"
Game 3: **fruit randomly launches out of the bin and causes failure really early on** "BULLSHIT!"
There is no bad RNG, just bad or-an-ge

I'm going to be honest, I stayed up last night playing this game, and i'm now tired at work. I could seriously watch Vinny play this for ages, it's just incredibly enrapturing to see for some reason
Although I gotta say and it's not shame, there are tons of misplays so it's mild dick rippage. But it's still fun to watch

Vinny is absolutely right about the Halloween track for this game driving you insane.
I had this playing in the background while doing boring petrochem stuff in Factorio, not really paying too much attention to the stream, and the song just... passively embedded itself permanently into my subconscious. I didn't even notice until I realized I was quietly humming along to it.
I swear to god, I'm going to be hearing it in my dreams. That little accordion tune is going to be engraved into my brain forever.

Maybe I’m just thinking of “Suika Combination” (a variant with touhou characters instead of fruit, culminating in Suika, which I’ve played move of than “Suika Game”), but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the items overlap a fair bit (though not quite that much)
Its because the game triggered all 3 oranges to fuse but one couldn't because it wasn't supposed to and the others fused first so it stuck to the bigger fruit.

I thought it was gonna be a fan made Touhou game or something from the title.
Good thing Blinky got the game when he did, the interface was entirely in Japanese before the Halloween update and I can't imagine Vingus having a good time trying to decipher what to do or how to play/replay the game.

To be fair, this game has been trending in general, so it only makes sense that a lot of streamers, Vtubers or not, would stream it in general.

Wow this is a game that can be frustrating to watch. When he tossed fruits haphazardly and those being the ones keeping all of his bigger fruits apart, and how he *kept* doing it, that hurt.
yeah I was really confused about his thinking there, like I guess maybe some of it was him trying to think ahead? But if so, it clearly wasn't working

the crazy thing about this game is that its another "Among Us effect", though it more than likely wont have the staying power for 3 years as well.
to explain, this game came out 2 years ago on Switch...like for real its been out on the JP eShop for 2 whole years before being really noticed and then it EXPLODED in popularity.
just like what happened with Among Us. though Covid going around probably helped in some specific way.

I think my favorite thing about this game is how nearly every streamer I've watched has gone from "LOL funny fruit game" to FULLY invested in it not even 5 minutes later.
I never played this before, but a strategy that I thought of is trying to order fruit by size smallest to largest left to right. I played once and got a 1785 points that way.
