Hi Steve, outstanding returns. Nice to see they were in line with what you expected and even a couple of pleasant surprises with the 62 Mays and 74 Winfield. That is great to have an original card from your childhood encapsulated. I didn’t pick the Bo but it looks fantastic. A great example of what I was talking about in my video with black and white. I think some modern cards in black and white are even more interesting than the vintage because they chose to photograph in black and white for a reason vs. being limited by technology like in the old days. That Bo picture would not look nearly as nice in color. Piccolo and Sayers are going to look great side by side. The Gibson is one of my favorites too given the gravity of his season. You got a nice looking one. I rarely guess the grades because I often watch from my phone and the cards almost always look sharp given the smaller screen. I see 2s that look like 7s. When I was watching you video earlier today that Bo card came to mind when you were talking about black and white photography. You are right in color that card is nowhere near as nice. I think the black and white photography is why I am such a big fan of exhibit cards. Gibson’s 68 card is such a great card because of the history behind that season, really happy to finally get it slabbed. Have a great weekend!

Amazing selections that were chosen by the community. That Dr. J looks amazing with the red, yellow and white with a little blue thrown in there. A great 70s card! I know that SGC is tough on centering but I think just as tough on surface as well. That Yaz looks great. I've only sent in one '72 and it got an amazing grade, they look so good with that marquee style design with the team name. That Winfield RC looks so good in the SGC slab. Congrats Steve!

Wow, that was an interesting sub! That 5.5 Winfield RC is a really nice result, and so is the Mays 4. I think the Mays was the biggest surprise for me, considering it was also a bit off-center. But then the '60 Killebrew only got a 4? I mean just from here, that looks like highway robbery. I thought that was a 5 for sure and maybe a 6. There may have been one slight corner ding, but the front centering looked quite good. The Piccolo was a real nice grade, too, and the Dr. J is a great 6. Thanks for sharing, Steve, and don't think I didn't notice the South Haven hoodie!
I was definitely reppin'' Michigan! It was a cold night and that sweatshirt is one of my go-tos on cold nights I was really happy with the return and how all the cards looked in their new SGC slabs. I'd say you did pretty well. great choices and great grades. it's hard for me to believe that Harmon Killebrew is the same grade as the Willie mays.
