I was also at this gig. Was just talking about it just now, how we were with friends who claimed this was the low point of the concert, and a cliche. I gave that comment the required amount of disdain. A quick search yielded this video, thanks for posting all those years ago.
Roger Taylor is 66 and Rock Star/Astrophysicist Dr. Brian May, is 68 years old (Queen was formed in 1970) - It's a wonder (or it's wonderful) how this two have evolved and continue on their musical journey - especially their good bond with Dave Grohl and a good friend of T .. very inspiring :) Thank you for sharing this.

Mmmmmm nope, he was 50, and he kinda fucked up right at the ending chorus, so, even though I know I couldn't do any better than him, this wasn't how "a drum set is supposed to be played" at all, he had many other memorable moments but this isn't one of them.
Brian and Roggah! It just doesn't get any better than this. This song has always sounded to me like it was influenced by The WHO. Brian's voice even sounds a lot like Daltrey's when he sings this one.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Foo Fighters... but if you're gonna do it, then go all the way. It's all I'm saying, really. Besides, good as they are, the lead singer in Foo Fighters is no Freddie Mercury... nobody will be, but he's one of the farthest from the top of THAT bill. Shit, I'd rather see Sepultura sing Queen, at least they sing in beat and memorize the words properly :)

First off, the guy on vocals was completely off-key, he was off-beat and didn't know half of the words to the song. He mis-sung so many things I'm surprised that Brian and Roger didn't walk off the stage with an amount of shame. I have no issues with covering songs in concert (especially if you've got some original band members), but let's do it right, people!
Darkling Rise watch how good they became as a band at around 2005 ish and watch some of their queen covers from more recent years they're pretty good. I saw them play tie your mother down live
