People forget how strong Vladi actually is. He’s not a small player.

@@Badnercalabrese it's not for Russian players specifically, he's just trying to get under the skin of the other teams best player. Hence why with Washington it was Ovi and with the wild it was Kaprisov.

Why is Frederic surprised to get a penalty for trying to hit him clearly after the whistle? Doesn’t matter how badly he failed, that still should be a penalty
Not only did he try to get in a hit after the whistle, the penalty was for roughing for the shit he got on with after he got rocked

Turning point of the game. Bruins had the Blues on their heels the first 13 minutes of the period outshooting them like 10-4 in the period. Bruins 2-1 lead was gone after Krug scores on the PP. Tarasenko, properly fired up at that point, scores the final 2 goals and the Blues get 2 points. Gotta be smarter than that young man.
Everyone outshoots the Blues.... I'd agree it was a momentum killer, but the Bruins shots on goal were mostly garbage shots. Part of the Blues game is quality of shots not quantity and it wins them games.

@Tod - Hahaha, he’s destined for a bottom 6 role his entire career. In the game vs the Blues he had 0 goals, 0 assists, he was a -1, he had 2 pen mins, 1 shot, 3 hits, and only 8:37 toi. There’s a reason his best stat from the game was 3 hits and that’s because the only way he’s staying in the league is if he’s physical because skill wise he’s inferior to mostly everyone. His full career stats are as follows - 111 games played, 9 goals, 11 assists, 20 points, -4 plus/minus, and 133 pen mins. His career high is 15 points (5 goals and 10 assists) as I said previously. That’s very far away from being impressive. The stats don’t lie bud, he’ll be lucky if he’s even in the league in a few years time never mind the name on folks tongues. He’s a bottom 6 guy at best, stop kidding yourself into thinking otherwise.

I watched this game. The Bruins actually had a stranglehold on St. Louis and then Trent became obsessed with Tarasenko and took one of the stupider penalties of the season. The kids young, he’ll learn but this was a turning point in the game
