Tom just my $.02 worth. I love these sort of videos. For us senior citizens 3.6 mpr is a little fast 3.0 or less is best. Also like the natural sounds. One can also was listen to music if they don't like the wind noise (place foam over the mike to minimise wind noise). Camera stabilization is the way to go if you're going to do many of these. Great video.

I love this idea so I googled it and discovered your video. I've always wanted to visit Australia. I guess this is as close as I will ever get. 😢 Btw, you walk really, really fast! I did when I was younger but at 4 mph I'm dying from lack of oxygen. LOL! Thanks for sharing. It will give me something real to look at when I start walking at the gym again. ☺

+Kathie Kraft Yep, I love doing the beach ones. You've given me an idea. Keep an eye out as I'm hoping to release a new video very soon that I'm sure you will enjoy :)

Virtual walks are a great idea! I think the real sound would add more value to the video.
I would also consider use of video stabilization service, I think google offer such service for free.

Tom Steck Hey Tom, thank you so much for your feedback, I really appreciate it :)
I considered leaving the sound in, but to be honest it's not very interesting, and for the most part you get a lot of wind noise straight into the mic, especially when you're walking along the water.
CZcams stabilisation looks pretty awful to be honest. When I do a preview it actually looks worse lol. My camera has a built in stabilisation feature, but obviously it can only do so much. If the videos start to get some reasonable views, I will certainly look into buying a hand held gimbal which I believe will solve the issue, but they are rather expensive.
      Thanks again!

Tom. ( I did an OOPS earlier.) I like the real sound but I also like to listen to music of my choice. I watch the video of the trail on my tablet to listen to music (using ear buds) on a cd player. I miss out on real sounds on the video but that is OK with me. Keep walking.

I liked the shaky camera...made it more real and matched my pace

PS- Do you ever pan the camera right or left to look at the scenery? That would be awesome if you did especially near the beach as well as other places during your lovely walk.

Hi there, and apologies for the late reply. I'll sometimes pan the camera if there's something really special that needs to be shown. It's tough sometimes because I don't want to break the flow of the walk :)

49:16 ... Nice trees, are they native to the area ? I don't think so, any one know ?
Are those trees all decedents of trees planted for ship masts, in the 18th century ?

I love the scenery, but I can't watch these videos because the up and down babble gives me motion sickness. LOL
