  • “I live in this land, but I don’t belong in this land.”
Our lives are not our own. We were once owned by sin, but Jesus bought us at a price, paying for us with his life. Now, we belong to him. Ask yourself, is your life fully his? Do you live for yourself or for his glory? To follow Jesus is to exchange this world and its entanglements for his kingdom, to surrender control of your life for his will and purpose.
Andrew Selley, leader of Joshua Generation Church and Four12Global, expounds on the principle found in 2 Corinthians 5:15 (NLT):
“He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.”

I wish I would have heard this nine years ago. The Lord gave me a job at a Christian radio station and I didn't make enough money so i quit and moved to eureka to get a job at a hospital that paid a lot of money and to stay with my elderly father to help him. and on my way there I read James 4:13-15.....all such boasting comes from pride, I will go hear and do such and such and make money, but you ought to say "if the Lord wills, I will do such and such!" My first year in Eureka was a living hell, I was in the belly of a whale like Jonah, I cannot begin to tell you the hell I went through., After 9 years I'm, back in southern California. and I believe I am to be back at Heritage now Josh Gen. church, this is the remnant that I have been praying for God to lead me to.
