“If you want what he’s got, you gotta do what he wants you to do.”
Lon Whelan exhorts us in this message to Joshua Generation Church that God has promises for us, but we aren’t going to get to them if we try to do it our way. Walking with God requires agility. His plan might not always align with our expectations, or the Spirit might shift things, or we might be asked to change in ways that make us uncomfortable. God might lead us to places we don’t initially want to go, but he knows what he's doing.
We don’t want to miss what God is calling us to because we aren’t flexible and willing to go where he’s going. We need to be agile- responding with openness and obedience. It’s not for us, it’s for him and the people he has for us to reach.
