All great makeovers. I love the birds. They are so pretty. And I really like the calendar. Just sanding the edges really added so much. The dress form is beautiful as well.

So, I contacted Varathane and asked about getting the finishing wax and they said that they are behind on making it because of when everything was shut down during covid. And once they get caught up, they'll have it back in stock at the Home Depots. Woohoo! Just thought I'd let you know!! 👍🏻👍🏻

I’m a sucker for candle sticks and both the small and large turned out beautiful but my favourite is the little drawer cabinet. I have seen a lot of CZcamsrs use them and they are gorgeous!!!

Everything is beautiful! My favorites are the Airplane and Female Bust. I really like the combo of Dixie Belle paint in dropcloth with the antique wax.

Loved what you did with the transfers. I would not have thought about putting on round bowls. Loved it
Of course I love everything you do even if you barely do anything at all to it. Less IS more sometimes!
BTW: I thought I'd throw this info out there for anyone trying to remove stickiness from an item. Squirt just a little bit of WD-40 on the sticky spot wait a minute & peel or wipe off the sticky area with a paper towel. It's going to be a little oily so use glass cleaner or wash it in hot Dawn water & your good to go!

Hi Yvonne ~ Love the wood Duck with the Brass… I have 2 WOOD Craved Faces like the one you have that is resin! A man from Washington State carved them. I was so surprised when you held him up! LOL!! I got mine off Etsy years ago.
Those birds are so pretty with your technique using the waxes / patinas. And LOVE the bowls and little drawer cabinet with the Transfers on them! I may have to do a Transfer in some of my wood bowls! Never thought of that !!!

Whew! I saw the blown glass vase and was so worried you were going to paint it. It just makes me sick when I see beautiful glass, pottery, vintage dishes, etc being painted or glued together. I wish more ppl would take a minute to look up items before painting them or gluing vintage, priceless dishes together.

I bought a mini dress form covered in maroon crushed velvet. I too painted mine but with a ginger bread colored paint. I made her a cross body bag from an antique change purse. I also used an antique looking watch that my daughter's bought me but was always too tight as a belt on her waist. Love all your stuff! Tammy ❤

The cream painted candlesticks would of looked great with wood rounds with the smaller ones to do a tiered tray with vintage silver trays. Love everything you do. Gives me so many ideas.

Love your hair up with headband! I love birds so what you did with the birds turned out really great and I would buy those. But my favorite was the dressmakers bust. I thought I would’ve done it in pink and white and black but when you finished it, it look like it was linen with the vintage decal on the front. it was so sophisticated and beautiful.

I liked the wooden bowls raw more than with the white wax, but then you added the transfers and ahhhhh! 🥰 They would be so beautiful displayed and hung in a grouping on a kitchen, breakfast nook or dining room wall. Oh my goodness, gorgeous.

You find some of the most amazing things at your local Goodwill stores and Salvation Army stores. Our local stores have shelves on two maybe three walls and everything else is clothing with a few pieces of furniture here and there. I think our local stores are a lot smaller too. I usually have better luck at yard sales, other local thrift stores, and our local Restores, although the prices are usually a little higher. As usual, it's hard to pick a favorite. They were all beautiful.

Please continue thrifting videos as well. Those dominoes were such a great find. I’m always looking some things that are less feminine to add to my collections.
I would have used "newsprint" to make the dress form look like it was made from old newspaper mache'. Or better yet, dress pattern paper! Loved most projects. Would loved to see you just use cutting board oil on the salad bowls.
