If Joann wants to survive as a business, they need to go back to their roots and STOP trying to be a Hobby Lobby or Michael’s. Joann used to focus solely on sewing and fabrics. I think they would succeed if they did that. Even though we can buy fabrics online from stores like Mood Fabrics, it’s not the same as buying it in person.
I agree with you, Joann should have remained a fabric store. I would like to see them bring back the craft classes focused on sewing.
Evidently, those in the know concluded JUST fabrics won't cut it. They don't understand what could have happened, had they chosen to be the BEST fabric store on earth, rather than choose to compete with all the other craft stores and be the SAME.
get rid of framing. no one buys that stuff
First of all, they need to cut down on some of that fleece and quilting cotton. They need to carry more apparel fabric. they need to lower the prices because they say they give you a coupon but then you can’t use it because everything is on sale. They mark everything up so high that it really isn’t worth it even with the coupon sometimes. Honestly, these days the only thing I go into JOANN for anymore or patterns, and because I now have so many of them I won’t be doing that for awhile.
@@mstoniegreen I agree with this totally!
omg yes fleece in arizona
The problem is that they need to start with the housekeeping and then rebrand. Fix the lights. Fix the app. Hire enough people. As it stands now, anyone new walking in is going to walk right back out.
Whew. Yes!
I think consistency of their stores or rebranding with expectations in mind would be so helpful. The store near me is well lit with tall ceilings but the next one near me is small and in an older building with lower ceilings and a smaller area for stock. The look and feel is very different. Why not make a Jo-And-Plus with all the bells and whistles and a Jo-And-Sew with a focus on sewing? Of course even with the mini stores, you could order anything off the site and pick it up there.
To hire enough people they need to be willing to pay a decent wage. The amount they’re paying is insanely low.
I am disabled, so am an online shopper. I had to give up on Joann's when my address was rejected by their system. I called and asked for help, was told there was nothing they could do. My address has been in the USPS system for over 10 years. I am a newbie quilter, so I can find quilter's cotton everywhere. Now that I want to go back to garment sewing, I am looking for my new favorite fabric store. I'm rewatching your videos with that in mind!
Agree! Our store is missing half of the tile when you walk in the door. Their bathroom looks like it has been there for 40 years and it is dirty!! I did find one Joann about an hour away that was clean organized had staff and they were pleasant!
Yes to everything you mentioned!! I used to work at my local JoAnns and we had sooo many issues with our building! From the lights not working to the plumbing!! Not being able to use the bathroom for a full shift is not ok! I have also said while I was there and still the same thing! I wish they’d lean into the fabric crafts more and leave some of the other stuff behind! I’d love if they were even able to expand their fabric selections. Either way, I’m glad to see they’re not going anywhere!!
I would love Joann to go deep on being a sewist store. But the jo-And branding feels like they want to go the other direction
I wish they would do an intro to sewing class. You don't know how many younger people in their 20s and 30s have asked me to help them learn.
See if the local library will let you use a community room and do a class 💰
@@purplehound2420 100% agree
Yes to the niching down to replace Hancock's. That caused fabric deserts in my city that HL's selections can't fill. I'm necessarily hopeful that this rebranding will be successful.
Amen to replacing Hancock's. Everyone was so nice there all the way to their closing down.
They were SOOOOO nice!
I wish Hancock could have done the same as Joann's. I got one of my best deals at Hancock. Silk Tweed in clearance for 70% off. And I think that was after a previous price cut. Hancock always had a great selection of a variety of fabrics. Unlike Joann's with mostly quilting cotton and a whole bunch of polyester plastic fabric. (I can't wear polyester at all.) I hope the reorganization of Joann's will encourage a wider variety of fabric.
Wish they'd go back to sewing and FABRIC hello their name! There's too much junk in their stores, way too much! I've been sewing for 52 years and it's horrible what they've done to their stores!!
I just wish my JoAnn's cleaned their dang bathrooms and made sure thread was stocked. Seems simple enough.
My Joann's bathroom is always clean 😊
i looked for velcro in 2019 told them to order it. every time i go in no velcro in 2024
I too am an elder millenial (41)... in the 90s I would go with my grandmother to JOannes, they were small stores and when you walked in I remember the warm smell of all those bolts of fabric on the rounders, the tables with the pattern books where you could sit and look at them, the drawers of patterns....it was such a memory. I think Joannes does too much now, I agree they should niche down and just be fabric and general sewing, go back to their roots. They can't compete with HL and Michaels and I think that's obvious, they should really focus on perfecting their app and how it interfaces with the website because the website sucks too... and their customer service is nonexistent. If they could invest in instore employees that know what they are doing with excellent face to face customer service, and classes I think people would want to sew and want to shop there. Some of the people Ive encountered there are just passive agressive and so rude... perhaps it is their leadership that needs the overhaul and the rest will fall into line.
I think it’s wild that we’ve all had similar experiences. Like Missy said she had a run in too!
I love my Jo-And’s and the employees are very skilled, but they are working in tough conditions i.e, overworked, no breaks, demanding management. However I have noticed that the store is cleaner and more organized. They are the only fabric store in my area that I will go to because for personal political reasons I will not shop Hobby Lobby. ❤ Thank you for the very well done video.
The employees are among the lowest paid in retail,… and it’s hard work. They’re also probably tired of hearing about all the corporate bonuses while they’re making minimum wage and had their benefits diminished.
They need to update some of their stores too! I am 63 years old, and l shop at a Joann's that l started going to when l was 18. The store is so outdated.
a cleaning everywhere would help
I totally agree with the niching focus back on sewing. I used to way back in the day work at Cloth World before it turned into JoAnn's. We (the employees) saw how all the do da's and tchotchkes started filling the store when the company switched over and we all rolled our eyes.
The store near me is almost always out of stock of current patterns, has prob never washed the floors and the poor single cashier no matter what time you shop makes me sad. My heart goes out to the employees as they are clearly so overworked with often only 3 people running the whole floor. And yet I will drive 30 mins to the next location and it's night and day sooo much better run. I'm hoping the JoAnn's I shop at has a major overhaul and revival. ❤🙏🏻
I so hope JoAnn reinvests in their stores and fabrics as a person who sews for my core hobby.
As a person who have been sewing for 50+ years. It’s a shame to walk into a fabric store and unable to find basic sewing supplies. I stopped shopping at “j-and!
Well said. My Jo Ann’s has no stock, empty shelves, not even glue sticks. And it is a very messy store. What they do have is on the floor, mixed up on the shelves, and not organized. Since I’ve been in retail all my life, I have actually caught myself straightening up things. This always amuses me. However, the sales gals, if you can find one, are usually nice and helpful. We do have lights. Now, that they solved the way to continue business, they need to get down to organizing and stocking their stores, besides carrying more fabrics. Carol
from California.
I am sew happy 😊 that my Joann's made it through all this bankruptcy crap & staying open to the public , yoo hoo !! ♥️
Joann's needs to concentrate on better quality fabric. I would also like to see better lace options and trimmings. I can drive to 4 stores. At one point a Joann's was 10 minutes away; they closed that one. Now I have to drive 30 or 40 minutes. I would love it if they offered sewing classes. I'm having a helluva time getting my pants right. I've surmised it's crotch depth. Yesrs ago I could go to Joann's and get ready advise. Not anymore. Maybe Joann's should think about affordable sewing classes.
I do like their restructuring and I agree with you on student loans. The app definitely needs some work to integrate into the website better. They definitely need to go more niche, growing up, all my Halloween costumes were made from Joann and I would love to do that again for my kids.
Agreed with all this.
Refocusing and rebranding is awesome. I love the idea of retraining their employees as well because that’s very needed. But I also would like to see are some buttons. I’m tired of their small selection of buttons and in recent years the selection has diminished.
Your assumption is that the company that JoAnns was indebted to and consequently who then bought them out have the best interest of Joann in mind. That is not necessarily the case... all of it depends on what kind of corporation bought it or do they have other motives in mind for the properties that JoAnns sit etc. Red Lobster encountered this problem that bought them that had no interest in having the restaurant
survive--they were only allowed to buy food from a seller who was tied to the purchase which was of lower quality, and what they actually wanted was the property that JoAnn sits on. There are a ton of California locations that are sitting on very valuable land, so it will be interesting to see what happens over the next few years.
I would love to see a fabric store with quality sewing fabric, including natural fiber fabrics. Too much fleece, too much flannel, and synthetics as far as fabrics go.
I agree they need to fix the App to be able to search for fabrics by Drape, stretch, and Use. I would love to be able to type in “bird print, cotton, shirting” and have something remotely close to that pop up.
They need to shirk the holiday knickknacks down to 2 aisles and axe the floral section. Turn that space into sewing classes and fun fashion cotton prints for sewing clothes! I live in Arizona it’s 90-112 degrees 9 months of the year and all the cute prints for clothing are Flannel! WHY?!?!!?
Give us polka dots, tropical print cottons, floral prints, ombré stripes and a little whimsy in cotton shirtings that BREATHE so we can wear what we sew without suffering.
Makers dont want to spend 100+ hours on a garement that will disenegrate in 6 months. Therefore, we want quality fabric instead of the low thread count cotton, lycra, and rayon Joanns tends to carry. Also, we dont want acrylic yarn! We want quality natural fibers for crochet and knitting!
Joann’s staff has been rude as hell since 2017. I’ve shopped at another locally owned fabric store instead for in person must haves. And I buy most of my fabric on eBay, most of my notions on Amazon, and sometimes on Etsy. I don’t know any Gen Zers who want to sew, and no mid or late millennials, either, and can’t imagine any of them putting up with the grumpy foul attitude of Joann’s employees. . . I’ve been in hobby lobby once and I’ll never go back. Overpriced and employees running into the back room when I tried to get help finding something.
They downsized their fabric and yarn in favor of seasonal decor I can find everywhere else. My store has two apparel fabric aisles, and one of those is materials that super-specialized (velvet, glittery tulle and satins). Shopping there is disappointing. I wish they'd carry the Liberty material in stores.
Thanks for the info on what really happened and a way forward. I have said for many years that these big box stores could all use some of the "niche down" concept. Allow small businesses to fill the areas where knowledge and commitment are required. I personally can think of many items that Joann sells that are really just clutter because they are not something I would think to go there for. Let's hope they move forward with more intention & consider the customers and employees as partners.
I like that they are engaging Gen Z. I tend to like their sewing channels since they have high energy makes. Duping and upcycling. They need some company wide training on customer service. I'm still in my feelings about my last interaction with them and the district manager did nothing.
I agree with all this.
I am a Boomer who first walked into Joann in 1974 & worked there for two years of college. I absolutely agree that Joann needs focus!!! I wish they still had a solid line of core garment fabrics we can rely on being there. Love the Pop! Knits, the denim section, and their basic cotton jersey (more colors please). I miss weaver's cloth and wish I could time travel to 1976 and stock up. The current quilting section is great, but why do we not talk about the crossover uses for that cotton, with the seasonal home decor? Do we really need all those print fleece choices? Or a baking aisle? Thanks for asking our thoughts.
I'm so grateful for what you said about competing with other craft stores. I'm a sewer... I don't go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby for fabric. I actually reached out to the company about the lack of variety in apparel fabric. If you wanted fleece, they had half a store full. But I want to make clothes other than pajama pants. I was excited the last time I was there they definitely had more apparel fabric. I have bought online and I get it...they don't have the overhead of brick-and-mortar stores. So they are more affordable but you can't feel the fabrication and that drives me crazy. You can't see the actual color and when you need to match fabric colors or thread, good luck. I hope Joanne's can come out of this a better store to shop in. I don't know what I would do if they weren't around anymore.
Joann’s had a very obvious quality shift when they expanded to do anything to do with “crafting” and gave up on quality.
At this point I cannot really shop at Joann’s for anything beyond basically interfacing and muslin.
Affordable is good, but poor quality isn’t.
I was a store manager of a Joann’s that closed in 2007. I went through the rebranding from Clothworld to Joann’s. I do agree with you about them nicheing.
(If that’s a word) back to more fabrics. When we did rebrand, the choices of fabrics was very limited. We needed more knits. The nearest Joann’s is 1 1/2 hrs away in 2 directions and I would like to see a better variety even today. Do you think they will lower the prices?
@@rochellecash2422 I liked cloth world much more than Joann's.
They need to invest in a commercial designer for their stores….that is for sure.
Ohhhhh that’s a good idea!!!
Joanns needs to get back to sewing Period! There's hobby lobby and Michael's keep Joanns for sewing!! If they keep it niche to sewing they'd truly make a serious killing!! Why not be just known as fabrics they have the market cornered on fabric, there really isn't fabric stores anymore and no Walmart doesn't count!! I hate the way they are no with the AND!
My Jo Ann’s closed several years ago and moved 10 miles away. I makes it so hard to get there. So I only go to Jo Ann’s when I travel and there is one close to me
I have been sewing since the 70s I just started buying fabric online because JoAnns just doesn’t carry the fabric I’m looking for 😢
I miss cloth world, fabric king , and house of fabrics
JoAnns has to pick up the slack and they just aren’t doing it
I agree they need to focus on being just a fabric store ….they would do well because they have no competition
I totally agree bring the focus back to sewing, I missed there classes. My location once sold sewing machines from Singer to Bernina but no more. I would love to see that come back maybe even including embroidery machines
The one near me just closed their sewing machine section. Curious as to why. Always low on thread and notions. Should have stock for people who actually want to shop in a store. Also to get people back to the stores offer good in store coupons. All i see are good online only coupons. Terrible that if you want fabric online there's a 2 yd minimum.
I agree to all that you said. You are so dead on!!! Thanks! I hope they hear!😃
Me too! I want them to be successful!
Your comment about the "customer service" is spot on. My local store is small and dark and has the worst low staff attitudes
I hoping they can reopen in my town but in a smaller scale, offering fabric, sewing classes , and instruction on a variety of sewing machines.
Please, please get rid of coupons. If something’s on sale it’s on sale. I hate coupons for items that are marked way too high to begin with then they mark it down still too high of a price then you can’t use your coupons. Just give a decent price then have sales. No more coupons.
I agree with you that Joann should niche down and stop trying to compete with Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. However, if they niche down, they have to reduce their fabric prices - they are not price competitive with online fabric sources. Instead of coupons, reduce everyday prices and offer sales instead of coupons.
Catching on rewind, Hello love
Start stocking the stores ,less fleece.
I went to the Annapolis, MD one and I was very impressed with what I saw last Sunday. All the OG staffers who care about quality and lots of them on the floor . Finally saw y’all’s KnowMe springs and summers, and my beloved K&C cotton yarn that is top notch. They are smaller, but they were clean too and very welcoming.
Woodbridge, VA, which is equidistant to me as far as DC and Baltimore satellite cities, was really struggling and you can tell poorly managed.
Gen Z cares about labor and quality of materials. I don’t think JoAnn is ready for their smoke, but if they take it, then I think they will be one the better.
And yes, no more student loans! This proves inequality is real!!!!
The nearest Joann is sad. Lights low, looks dirty, nearly empty shelves. Depressing atmosphere. People who sew are IDEA PEOPLE! They need to listen to their sewist focus groups and get an inspired atmosphere. Move into a smaller space, for one thing.
I'm surprised at the comments about the APP...the coupons come up and scan at the register, the camera/barcode scanner always has correct price and the option to shop the local store before you go with usually 20 percent off works great for me.... totally agree on bad housekeeping, poor lighting and not enough help.....I have ZERO local options for batting, blades, scissors, thread and so on.....yes I order pricey collections of fabric from on-line Quilt shops, but it's too expensive to ship all the notions and supplies....I complain about Joann's a lot but would be really sad if I lost my local store....
I'm a Boomer, but I taught Home Ec., and sew like crazy, Clothing and quilting. I also knit and crochet. It's my Zen! There are a lot of us Boomers who shop there, remember that please! My friends drop hundreds of dollars when they shop there.
I refuse to go to Hobby Lobby, for their stance on Birth Control for their employees. Shame on them!!
Joann bought up all the fabric stores in my area of the PNW, so we are dependent on them for fabrics. Private Equity Companies suck the life out of their companies for profit. I am glad to hear they have restructured. I need to touch fabric before I buy, so mail order is out too.
Loved a lot of what you had to say. My JoAnns thankfully has all the lights on. One up in Dublin had the roof cave in. I agree with more training. My daughter worked at two of them and the difference in management was astonishing. She quit the second one because she just wasn't happy. Her favorite place is at the cut counter and never would have thrown anything at anybody, and she loved chatting with the children. I wish they could hire more but the nature of the business makes it difficult. They have a huge inventory (although reducing some of the crafts would help) which ties up a lot of money, and it's my understanding that the profit margins are pretty small. I try to support them. I haven't had as much time to sew lately and need to fix that. I spent so much money over the decades at JoAND (i do like that) and Hancocks (which i really miss) Here's hoping. I have a lot of stuff to sew and serge and knit in my future.
The younger generation is always in the store, asking about crocheting, sewing and crafting. The young kids are learning to do all of it. The teachers are teaching them with Cricuts, they are taking sewing classes and they are watching you tube to learn.
Their bathrooms and buildings are horrible. Needs updated.
I’ll give em another chance. But, the two stores near me are dark, dingy, shelves are sparsely stocked, no employees unless you’re checking out or getting fabric cut.
Not dingy 😫😫😫
I have noticed the joanns near me lowering their stock like crazy and trying to clear the warehouse out of all that they can (hence the halloween decorations). I really hope thy can get new stock soon because it's looking very sad :/. This one was also built very recently, like 2022ish? Apparently the landlords of their previous location refused to do any upgrades on the building, so they found a different location, spruced that up, and moved in. 11:42 Niching down, I agree with. Know your limits, including physical space. Or, you end up with the majority of your hobbies and crafts on the floor. For a business, this means needing to keep fewer products in the back/ at a warehouse. That also means you can keep a fresher supply. Not as important with most crafting stuff though. They have a section for classes and a laser cutter that they haven't been able to utilize because of corporate, likely because of the bankruptcy issue?
hallowween stuff is out.
Joann needs to add more fashion fabrics . I am a fashion sewist and love to feel fabric for clothing. Our Joann in Fredericksburg VA needs a lot of cleaning up . Fabrics all over the floor , and who want to buy dirty fabrics. Joann used to be my favorite fabric store but there is no help if you need any. All the original employees have left . They need to hire people with sewing experience. They do not carry a lot of things anymore that one would need for garment making. I hope that things will change for the better.
Fabrics on the floor!!! Noooo
Not me sitting outside Juliana's whilst watching. I need to make some curtains.
😂😂
They need to hire more people but they are not given the budget to do it. Joann's does not own properties, they rent. If there is a problem with the A/C or heat, doors or windows broken, the landlord needs to be called; unfortunately, they don't come immediately. When you only have 2 people closing, 1 on the register and 1 cutting and both cleaning and restocking, the store will not be picked up. Don't blame the employees. If the customers didn't pull items out and leave them someplace else or open packages and steal things and even slice material and steal it, it is the customers. The customers are rude, slobs from the floor to the bathrooms. Rebranding will not help; whenever a store rebranding itself, it dies.
The last time I ordered from them, they canceled my whole order. No explaination. I will not buy from them ever again.
Our Joann’s in St Cloud, Mn feels like being in the mind of a very depressed person. Hours have been shortened due to lack of employees. The last time I went there I walked through the doors, glanced around and wanted to shout out HELLO, anyone here? There was one guest and one employee at the cutting station. When I went to pay for my three spools of thread, there now was an employee at the counter. I was greeted by the friendliest young woman. She shocked me out of my state of gloom. I wanted to rescue her and grab her by the hand and run out of Joann’s. Joann’s should be ashamed to have a store that is about creativity and looks like a 1960’s strip mall shop (which it is) but has never been renovated.
I think if they want to keep the younger generations interested then teaching them how to do stuff would be helpful. A monthly sewing club with tips that promote their products. Classes that are affordable, like Mommy and me pajamas or aprons. I’ve never seen that offered at any of my local stores.
My store is unorganized and filled with fleece. Apparel fabric was moved out of reach so that fleece could take its place. It’s summer hot. ??? I didn’t even know that they had swim fabric. It wasn’t easily seen, if it was in the store.
Also, Nobody was promoting the pattern projector or knew how to use it.
Love your outfit. !!! What pattern is it?
If JoAnn fabrics wants to survive, they need to pay their employees decent wages. $8.50/ an hour is not enough for all the work and customers the workers deal with. Trust me, I used to work for them, they don't pay for crap. I got $11./an hour as a manager. They need to pay their employees a living wage!!!!!
Woah... That's how much they're paying???
@@AaronicaBColeCo in some states, yes. Pennsylvania it is $7.50/ hour still for minimum wage. I was an inventory coordinator and I got paid $11.50 an hour. I opened, closed, had access to the bank, I was considered a manager. Some of the employees have been there 10-20 years and didn't get paid over $10.00/ an hour. It is sad. They expect 200 + boxes of product to be put out in 48 hours after receiving with 4 people in staff. The whole time we also have to help customers. Ridiculous. I loved the job but don't like the company.
They closed the store where I live. I am not happy
It’s sad to see where they’ve e gone and seem to be heading. It feels like a dollar store, and that’s not a compliment. At the same time, Dollar Tree is ramping up their craft supplies and at their prices, Joann’s coupons may become irrelevant.
Agree 100% that they should have remained a quality sewing/fabric store. Sad to see all the junk 😕
Does anyone know what the marketing team is using to connect with influencers? I’d love to join the program bc I literally shop there all the time
I'm pretty sure that the first step is becoming an affiliate with them. If you haven't already signed up, here's the link: www.joann.com/affiliate-program/
The app is terrible. It's nearly impossible to search for fabric on there. I hope with shifting marketing to a younger crowd this will be fixed soon.
the website is a joke search engine is horrible
Hello I’m a crafter when way way back I do it alll and love it all I live in Missouri very small town my Nuris, Joan Is Two Hours away☹️ Are used to live in the city and it was very convenient for me just to drive up the street and go to Joannes for all my craft needs time changed and I wish I had a Joanna closer like in rolla Missouri please consider it 👌🏽👍🏽as an older citizen it would be great. Please do consider it there is space available.
So I do not like HL. They will sell you things that don't have tags. When you have to return them, HL will say they cannot take it back because it has no tag!
I want JoAnns to survive because I like their colors 🤣 but if they want to thrive, they to have genuine attempts to build community. They seem so out of touch. Even when they has the grants for African American fiber artists, it couldve open more doors and led conversations for more minority groups in the sewing world, yet it just looked like another attempt to look good during the Blackening. Only time will tell if JoAnn will learn and bounce back from this.
Oof. Yes to all this.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the info, and yes, student loans should be gone! Especially if we can loan other countries money for war, the average American that took on this debt in order to further their education to get a better job should not have that crippling debt following them forever!
Why do you think student loans should be forgiven? It’s not the same. Joannes loans actually resulted in partial ownership of their company by those whom they owe money. Nothing is for free. Someone is paying for it. Joanne’s is now going to be told how to run their business by these new owners. So, someone will be paying for the student loans. The colleges and universities would go out of business myself and other taxpayers would be paying the debt that others did not pay. These student loans constitute a huge sum of money. Somebody is going to pay it. No one is going to own you because you are defaulting on your loan with permission of the federal government. A lot of it is going to be paid for by those of us who either did not get to go as far as we wanted to because we could not afford that debt. I was accepted into Baylor university school of medicine. I declined to go in the end because of the huge debt I would incur. Instead of using my tax dollars to pay off someone’s debt, where they had the choice to get into debt or not, to think wisely, if I get into that much debt for that many years, how is it going to affect my life. Why do people not do that. Instead they are now expecting the general American taxpayer to pay that debt for them. How is that right, when many of us had to avoid and decline that debt in the first place ourselves, that’s just not right. Instead. Let’s learn a hard lesson from this, and work diligently to lower education costs for the future. Make it truly more job focused. More focused on how that student is going to earn a living. Let’s get the wastefulness and not necessary coursework out of it and focus on what is actually needed for the chosen career of the student. Employers are complaining that when they get workers from colleges and universities they do not even understand or know how to perform the functions they supposedly went to college to learn. Many , many do not ever even use the degree they earned in college. So….what is the payback that I as a taxpayer, who has worked my way through life, paid any and all debt I have ever incurred by working hard and paying it all off. What exactly would I get in return for my money in the form of increased taxes in order to do this. What would be the return on my investment? Nothing. Joanne’s will now be told by these others who have shared ownership in their company how to run their business, control their ethics and belief structure, the list goes on. Would the American taxpayer get to tell everyone who gets student loan forgiveness that they must work so many hours at the profession they were educated to perform, how many years they must stay in that profession, and once again the list goes on. And will we in return receive monies for free for what we all lost when we were unable to afford or continue in university? The increased income we could have possibly gained from that? No. We are totally out. Instead, let’s use this as lessons learned, get university costs down, so that if you want to be a doctor you can. Or whatever you want to be in life you can do it. But let’s not punish the general American taxpayer because we did not think about future consequences and accepted such huge debt. I did not do it. The person who took out the loan signed on the dotted line and did this to themselves. One of the things that need to be taught in universities is that nothing is free. Even in those countries where university is supposedly free, it’s not free. Those countries have ultra high taxes. The general public is paying for it. There is absolutely nothing in the world free. Someone has paid for it in some way somehow, somewhere.
👌
And yes, their app is awful….at best. JoAnd…hmm,ok
😂😂😂
More often than not Joann’s fabric is unattractive and expensive.
@@mstoniegreen Yes! This! They can stock thousands of different quilting fabrics, but few linens, no silks, no 100% cotton knits? This is my biggest beef with Joann’s. Also, 💯 agree on the prices. They should be able to offer competitive pricing with their volume purchasing power. Lastly, let’s talk about the crummy notions… if I’m going to spend hours of my life making a garment, I don’t want to put the cheapest possible zippers/buttons on it.
@@mstoniegreen amen to all of this! More apparel fabric please for the love of God!
I was just saying this to my husband, the amount of fleece and quilting cotton is bizarre.
