These sprites have definitely improved a LOT since the old version of this, it's great to see this week's sprites in the new designs of Corruption+. I also like how theres text on the screen in this one, the Corruption was really shocked at Darnell at 1:26 lmao.
That part at 3:02 is getting me excited though, can't wait to see the remastered final battle!
Okay, I didn't expect you to do something so PEAK in this video if I'm honest. You did a great job Carlito. But well, back to commenting:
The first thing to note is that unlike the original video, Cassandra is not as corrupted at the beginning of the song, which I think is well done because, well, it makes it a little more right that Cassandra would have rapped such a great track while partially succumbing to a deadly virus.
Another detail worth mentioning is that the corruption communicates with the host through his thoughts, in this case with phrases like: "Let us take over." to mentally weaken Darnell, or "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" when Darnell starts to uncorrupt.
As for the song, do I even have to say anything? It's FANTASTIC as always! Although that's nothing unusual coming from such a talented composer as Carlito. Familiar Faces V2 is an excellent remaster, it adds more action to the situation than its old version and with Cassandra's new voice that is a good complement to this one with its higher pitched tones that make it sound more realistic (I love the new voice, for some reason I love this Soundfont or Chromatic Scale more than the previous one), it's the cherry on top of this corrupted cake.
And the ending... well, it's kind of unexpected the truth, since we all are happy that Darnell was saved when suddenly at the end he gets corrupted out of nowhere. Was all this time an illusion? An homage to the original Full Week where at the end of the song he goes back to his corrupted sprites because of a mistake? (Or well, I think it was a mistake, I don't know if Carlito did it on purpose) The representation of the meme: "Time traveler moves a chair, The timeline:" in a Corruption mod? Whatever it is, this gives us a small chance of a small change in the timeline happening.
All in all, the Day 2 remaster was great, I like that you put effort into this little project, Thank you from the bottom of my heart Carlito! And even if I can't be at the Day 3 remaster live tomorrow, I'll most likely watch or comment on Sunday; or if I'm lucky Saturday night. And we also learned something, if you let Carlito cook, your house will burn down from the freaking PEAK he will prepare for you 🔥🔥🔥. My sincerest respects Carlito, goodbye.

The music is great, it's cool to keep the same songs instead of making new ones, maybe darnell won't escape this time, darnell's recorruption was useless for the story after all
