Obviously he couldn't compete against other men so he decided to compete against people half his size so he could win. Lia T. competing against women is like a High School athlete competing against a kindergartener by comparison.

there are some, but they don't dominate or even come close so therefore you dont hear about them. Its not as blatant as someone who a year ago was a middle of the pack swimmer and all of sudden a year later as a "female" is now number 1.

I don't like DeSantis, and I don't agree with most of his policies, but I most definitely agree with him on this one. This should be a non-partisan issue, for the sake of the integrity of women's athletics. I got no problem with the trans community as human beings, but trying to compete as a woman is the line that shouldn't be crossed simply because it IS an unfair disadvantage to all 100% female athletes.

There should be a separate category for trans competitions, end of. It's not even a debate. The amount of anger and hurt this is causing, will lead to a widespread rejection of trans athletes in women's sports if it isn't rectified.
If you care about trans people that much, then you'll get on board for fair competition. Separate categories means that everyone gets to compete in the fairest possible way, then no one gets hurt.
