DeSantis blasts Biden: "I am standing in your way"

- One day after President Joe Biden criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ approach to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is spiking again in Florida, the governor fired back.
"If you're coming after the rights of parents in Florida, I'm standing in your way," DeSantis defiantly responded on Wednesday. "If you're trying to deny kids a proper in-person education, I'm going to stand in your way and stand up for the kids in Florida. If you're trying to restrict people and impose mandates and ruin their jobs and livelihood; if you are trying to lock people down, I am standing in your way. I am standing for the people of Florida."
He finished by saying, "Why don't you do your job, why don't you get this border secure? Until you do that, I don't want to hear a blip about COVID from you."

As a Californian mostly liberal, it does stun me that a republican official can finally recognize that Mexico is rarely sending people over the border. Tired of the blame all on Mexico.

I’m from California. I recently visited Florida and I must say, the people from Florida were AWESOME. Everyone we contacted was warming and inviting. Never felt so much love from a state. Thank you the state of Florida.
There are stricter requirements to get into a NYC restaurant than to enter the Southern border illegally. Let that sink in.

As a resident of Florida, I absolutely love my governor. If you watch his interviews his answers are not only on point, he responds honestly and within milliseconds. He doesn't even have to think about the answer, because he's not lying. No teleprompter, no scripts, no BS.
