At first we thought "luck" was just a joke superpower, but it turns out it's more effective than having actual super powers.
There is a book series (called Xanth) where everyone has a power, even if it's just making a "dot" appear on a wall, etc. Those with useful powers go on to become popular/kings etc. And those with remarkable/powerful gifts are wizard class.
One guy has been classified as a wizard (by an authority everyone agrees upon) but he has no magic... Just dumb luck.
But if anyone found out what it was, they could circumvent it, so it is a big secret. (Even to the guy at first)
But let me tell you, he was the most powerful wizard of them all, with just "dumb luck" guiding him.

As a casual consumer who has neither read the comics nor seen much of the MCU (I hadn't seen the Avengers movie with Ultron before watching this one), I naturally didn't notice that "big guy" line at all xD

I discovered something new about DEADPOOL 2 and a Wanda Vision connection. If you watch the movie Deadpool 2, there’s a scene where Deadpool and Colossus are talking in the XMen House and in that scene there’s a clip of XMen who are in a conference and in that conference, you can see Quicksilver in the background right before they close the door.
So Quicksilver is alive?

I caught “the cure for blindness” seeing this in the theater, and absolutely loved it.
When he gets ripped in half, his lower body grows back and the skin is smooth, that would mean, if he deskinned/ degloved his whole head and whole upper body, it would also grow back smooth?
It would grow back smooth but then the cancer would grow back and it’d turn wrinkly and gross again, because of his healing
His super power is Cancer M8

Another detail is that after wearing the Cerebro helmet he starts calling out lines as they say them or right before they say them. Shown when he is on the couch after being torn in half he says one persons line before they say it and in the first fight in front of the boarding house he says someones line before they say it.
The one where deadpool says give me ur best shot one eyed willy, that sword scene is the reference back to him in the (1st)wolverine movie where he played the worse version of deadpool and in the first section of that movie it shows him splitting a bullet in half and deflecting loads of bullets

One you missed; scene where Deadpool and Cable face off in the back of the transport (The 'One eyed Willy' reference) when Mr. Pool is cutting/blocking the bullets was a throwback to Ryan Reynolds first appearance as the Merc with a mouth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The difference, Wade doesn't stop all the bullets And most of them go right through.
As many details and references I got on the first watch, they were doubled on second and third viewings. And there’s still MORE? What great movies man.

You missed two details:
- When Russel is chasing the headmaster, we can see a duck shaped swing resembling Howard the Duck.
- When Colossus jokes about Juggernaut, nobody laughs and that makes Colossus sad.
I saw that duck and freaked the fuck out in the middle of movie night because I was excited about Howard the duck.

Take on me and the cure for blindness were the ones I knew about. Knowing deadpool and being an artist, even without seeing the comics or knowing who they were talking, the joke about Rob Liefeld still landed and was hilarious.

I'm pretty certain that the game tokens in the opening are more of a reference to Wade Wilson's first "date" with Vanessa where they played skee-ball at an arcade.
