Wasteland Warrior Women!
Badass Babes Breaking Bones!
I get a really cool mad max vibe watching this. Great stuff
Great channel Anthony as a photographer I make a lot of my own props and you're quite inspiration.
Keep up the great work take care.
Nice build looking forward to the video
Really great build Anthony! The effects in post really sell the prop!
If you want to go a little more Macabre you could use chicken bones as greebles.(I am not sure how to properly prep them)
or maybe just fake plastic ones
Bake them to kill bacteria then seal them
Eat a chicken, clean the bones, rebuild the bones with maker material
Easy
You did an outstanding job on this build.
Regarding the rest of this comment, if you already know it, I apologize in advance. Hopefully it can help someone out there though.
I do want to touch on camo, especially if you end up doing a military character in the future (I also hope this makes sense). Camo isn't supposed to completely hide a person or object--that's what ghillie suits are for. It's supposed to obscure details that could be picked out at a distance.
When applying the paint, the midtone(s) should be applied on most everything, the lighter tone(s) on the deepest recesses, and darker tone(s) on the areas that stand out. You want it to blend and appear "flat and shadowless," though for a movie you would want the characters to be seen a bit. In that situation, instead of the colors being 1-3 gradients from each other, push them further to 4-6 gradients so there is more contrast between them.
looks superb, i hope the film will be shot soon so I can watch it 🎞👍
Awesome video! 😊
Love the video I really appreciate you taking the time to make stuff that an average person could do I'll be making some of your stuff and using them as display pieces in my shop as I work on my mandalorian kit for the mandalorian merc costume club thanks again Tim
OMG...the music, Fallout series...or least something of that type...Fallout new Vegas....Honestly Anthony you are the one who could do that. I have seen your productions, you could do this 100% and people would watch it. 30min - 1hr and ep 20-23 ep Series. I can see it. Fallout New vegas sci fi post apoc series....you could do it!
*when you make another one of these consider having the bolts'screws holding it together intentionally and very obviously mismatched since these would be assembled from scavenged materials...and using tools that are probably broken or very nearly so...might be subtle but something to consider for your close ups of the hero or beauty props*
Very nice tutorial 👌
Looks great
Your videos are such an insperation and seeing your progress and how you intergrate the props into your productions, i love these videos of yours!
Seriously love your videos! You've helped me so much with making alot of props for my cosplays! I did want to ask if you could maybe make more cyberpunk 2077 stuff like weapons, props and maybe even clothes like jackets and so on. Hope you have an amazing day and thank you so much!!!
Tem-plate 🇬🇧
Heh... interesting camo-techniques. Though if I had my druthers, I'd also go for the more digi-cam look.
So two thoughts on duct tape, the first is just kissing them with a little sand paper before weathering could help, the second is that a real fix for stripped screw holes is jam a little piece of duct tape in the whole to give the threads something to bite on, and having that peeking out around one or more screws could help to tell that story.
The Epoxalypse Mk I.
You could have perhaps bought a second one,or extra bolts. Cut bolt heads off, weather the bolts as you did here. Then the blunt ones could be used in close ups as if they had "pierced" the actor?
Love these videos!! it inspired me to try my own project on a dollarstore gun. I'm having a real problem with the primer. I'm on my 2nd coat and it still isn't really sticking that well. I really thought I did a better job of sanding the second time around, but it's like it hits, and just runs right off. I'm using Krylon COLORmaxx primer. Am I using the wrong stuff or probably not sanding enough? Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it normal to need a few coats before you get full coverage?
great! as a suggestion; if you are planning on some old farm environment, you should do a crossbow with some leafsprings from old cars/carts. they are absolutely realistic, easy to get on junkyard and authentic I think.
I missed the name of the company that you got the darker powders from, could you post the name please.
I love your videos, I’ve done a couple micro films myself and you are such an inspiration! Please keep going and keep posting, again I love you work.
Shit... I'm glad I found this channel, I have enjoyed every video. I wish I was able to work on some of these projects with you, seems like fun
Get a backup cord for the crossbow, just in case.
REALLY excited to see zombie apocalypse stuff!!
also today is my 1 year anniversary :D
1:35 at this point that aesthetic is overdone, and the max max black leather hasn’t been touched since the 90s.
