Because it would be embarrassing to show the slap that the Scottish player gave the Frenchman before he retaliated with a punch.
The British are only able to beat the French team by 16 to 14, at least.
They failed at 19 against 14 in the match between France and Wales and the 4 English referees.
In the last two games, the French played 14 against 15 for 80 minutes.
What a shame for the pitiful British and their referees.

The scenario was too negative and difficult for this young team: Chat injured during the warming-up, yellow card vs Cros, Ntamack commotion, the red card to Haouas and no sanction for any scot player... The match was different after that. Congrats to the scot team who achieved to take advantage of this advantage, and France who continued to play despite everything going against them. Grand Slam willl be for later, Rdv in sept for the conclusion.
What action could you give against a Scottish player that you couldn’t also give to ficou for a blatant off the ball shoulder charge? This game was poorly refereed but it worked equally in favour of both teams, the red card was blatant and the cros yellow could have easily been red with a different referee, Scotland were the better team on the day there is no point making excuses
GONzo one Scottish player tried to put his finger in the eyes of Haouas which started the fight. Then one Scottish charge in the back of a French player. Both are completely forbidden but TMO just wanted to show punch
Michel yeah so people have said but I’ve seen no evidence of it, and there’s a difference between responding to a push with a push and your finger going in they’re eye and an eye gouge (intent) which as all the footage shows is two players pushing each other you can’t gauge

No discussion about the red card he deserved it, but can we talk about the TMO ? Choosing the only part when momo aouas hit him and not the beginning when the Scottish guy put his fingers in these eyes is not fair.
The awful ref level this year doesn’t credit our sport, that’s just making frustration between us... I’m watching 6nations until 10years and I really fed up with this edition !

I found out that the the TMO seems to be the most biased part of the referring in rugby these days. Not the actual referee on the field. I guess they feel safe to do how they see fit in their box.
Since the French play better, the British are forced to cheat.
Of course there should have been a red card for the Scottish player who slapped the French player who retaliated with a punch.
We all know that the British cheat in rugby thanks to their referees and those of the Commonwealth.

Rubbish. France deserved both cards. In fact Cros could have got red for that tackle. The ref was generous to him.
Of course both cards are deserved but in my humble opinion, the referee was too kind with the Scottish, about off-sides, high tackles etc... Scottish of course deserve the victory, but i think it would have been another history if the french were playing at 15. Nonetheless the VAR was clearly in the favor of the Scottish by not showing Cros' slap as much as Haouas' punch.

Big up to the video referee who accidentally forgot to show the fingers in the eyes of Haouas from a Scotish player just before the punch. The red card was well deserved but Scotland deserved one as well.
Great match from Scotland but we are kind of tired of these anti-french referees with a young team that is still looking for its true identity

It was just some shoving. Nowhere near as serious as the punch. Watch the tackle Haouas makes on Haining at 1:33. If you had been tackled by the opposite player grabbing your balls, you'd be pretty annoyed too and would probably have a bit of a go.
Big up to the french for always purposely hiding red and yellow card replays from refs every time a club or international team play in France. Scotlands last visit to France you hid a clear red card offence when one of your tacklers dived shoulder first and connected with John Barclays head i suggest you get of your high horse.

Well played Scotland. Big deception for us, maybe some provocation on scottish side, but the way Haouas responded showed that we're still a young team. To win a grand slam, you need to keep your nerves in difficult moments.
I also think France simply had bad luck on that day. Losing their 10 was ominous of things to come and the bounce after the lineout went Scotland's way for the third try. However, I honestly thought that while France were deserved winners against England, one of their tries was a little lucky (the one following the up-and-under that bounced off an England player's arm).

In rugby, the home team wear the change kit if needed.

It's a rugby tradition dating back a long way that the home side changes their kit. The reason is that if there was a clash it would be much easier for the home side to produce an alternate kit compared to a team who may have traveled with just one kit.

So summary: Scotland played VERY well and was able to mute France most of the game - Congrats. Haouas (symbolic of an inexperienced French team) is not as smart as Alun Jones which did not retaliate to Marler's dirty play but will be able to achieve Marler being benched out anyway. Referee decisions were overall biased in favor of Scotland ( not only the red card thing but offsides, ...), but equilibrated ref might not have sufficed to grant game for France, maybe defense bonus. So Overall Congrats to Scotland, very smart and talented play. Congrats to France, played well despite a lot of casualties the potential is HUGE, it is great to see France back to top-level, without that Rugby is boring.

Have you ever played rugby? Playing an entire match without a player make a huge difference im sure we would have won without the red card. The game would have be very tighten but this redcard was the straw that break camel's back if im not doing a mistake with this sentence lol
@@sulliq3534 i have played rugby for over 15 years actually , france was outclassed in that game scotlands game was clear slow down frances attack frustrate them and make them sloppy which they achieved quite well , you where getting dominated in the scrum you where 2nd in the breakdown you where not stretching scotlands defence wide enough at all . I know a player down affects the team but you can still win if you can execute your own gameplan which france where nowhere near achieving .
