This is my process from front to back on e-scouting for spring black bears in the west. I pick a spot I've never been to before and break everything down I'd do before leaving on a hunt.

Hey boss, great video. One big thing. As a resident, im thoroughly pissed, but Oregon is no longer a OTC spring bear hunt. All spring tags are controlled hunts now.

Thanks 🙏 for sharing this information Josh. I hope 🤞🏻 to get out west for either a spring bear 🐻 hunt, maybe a little turkey 🦃 if I had time. A fall hunt mixed with a deer 🦌 or elk hunt would be sweet too

Oregon doesn’t have spring bear OTC anymore. This is my first year drawing in the last 3 years.
Thank you for clarifying. Not technically OTC. There are a few units that are 0-1 point draw though for non-res. Congrats on drawing your tag!
@@DialedinHunter ehhhh there were but this year that changed I don’t think there are any 0 point units obviously besides the 25% random draw
Pretty sure oregon is all draw tags for spring. Fall is otc.
