Patient Story - Lyle Barnett

Lyle Barnett, a professional drag racer, suffered severe burns when his car’s motor exploded on the raceway in 2015. Airlifted from Adel, GA, to the Joseph M. Still (JMS) Burn Center in Augusta, GA, Barnett spent five months recovering. Today, he continues to race professionally, and educates on the importance of proper race gear to help other drivers protect themselves.
