Thank you for watching!
That was amazing, I thought that you would have gotten some goodies out of that old keyboard. Well can't win them all. Great video and can't wait to see what you are going to do with that yellow phone. As always stay safe my friend and may God bless you and all that you do in life. See you on the next video.
I too was hoping it would’ve had more, but at least I did have fun.
Thank you so much brother!
God bless you and I will see you in the next video!
I love taking things apart and recycling them Ian Mathews and snobby scrap picker inspired me to start doing it 👍👍👍👍
Ian Matthews is a funny guy!
Thank you for watching
Clickety clack clack click clackety click clack.
Old school keyboard😃
Right? 😂😂
Thank you for watching
Cool video mate. Even if not worth scrapping, definitely worth filming. For old computer stuff collectors also, prevents others from scrapping any other remaining keyboards like that. Appreciate your work.
Thank you, I appreciate that.
That was really nice of him
It definitely was.
Thank you for watching!
@@scrapitall200you are welcome
Great demo.
I think Dolly Pardon did a song that was appropriate here;
Working 9 to 5 What a way to make a livin'
😂😂
Thanks for watching buddy.
That was nice of him, hope you enjoy scrapping them 4,987 buttons
Don’t exaggerate, it’s only 4,985. Sheesh 😂
I always grab keyboards most ain't worth much but the vintage ones can be pretty good! I save the mylar sheets for silver recovery and the plug end if its gold plated for someday down the road! Great video Brother
CheeRs
It definitely pays to collect all that good stuff, I do the same, plus it’s just fun to me.
Thank you for watching brother.
I've picked up a few keyboards like that and honestly at this point their really just worth shred price for me. Great video though James! God bless.
Absolutely! I’m glad I was able to see what was inside though lol.
Thank you so much and God bless you too!
Hey SIA! Cool Miniscrap! hold on with the brass for a raiiny day! I WOULD! See u in the next vid, have a good time till then!
Thank you so much my friend. Hope all is well in your life!
Cool scrap
I love it. Getting scrap mailed to me, man I’m truly blessed 😁
@@scrapitall200 yep
my package just came thank you for giving me all the extra coins
Awesome! I’m so happy it arrived safely. You’re welcome my friend.
🤙🤙👍 That Right is all right kinda fella 😁✌️
He definitely is! 👍👍
Cool
Thank you for watching!
You are welcome
New or old, keyboards never have much in them. Great video
Yeah but I just had to know what was inside it 🤣
Great few items you had received
It was really nice of him. I love free scrap lol.
Thanks for watching buddy.
Excellent little video I would checkout the piece that you thought were brass they maybe gold plated that older stuff used a lot of gold back then it was pretty cheap keep up the amazing work six stars brother
Thank you brother for that suggestion. I will definitely check to see if they are gold, never even crossed my mind 🤣
I've got two old flat screens, one is very heavy indeed so there may be some extruded aluminum as well as the ic's and what not. Great video.
I’ve scrapped a few plasma flat screens and there’s lot of goodies in them.
Thank you!
Good Times buddy and thanks for shout-out
Thank you for all the goodies!
No problem, Sir. I will be looking for some better goodies to send you in the future.
@@ThatsRightRecycling you are the man!
Just no cell phones 🤣🤣
I really do appreciate it.
Hot sand is the quick easy way to depopulate any soldered board. Get all the solder hot at once then pop it on it's edge and everything pretty much falls off
Oh wow, cool trick, thank you.
brasses suppose to have gold dots as contacts of click keys. Thanks.
Right on 👍
Thank you for watching
You can even sell the keycaps if you have a damaged keyboard you're scrapping, rather than tossing them out. For future reference, good condition keyboards of that model can sell for $40 - $75.
I actually still have the original keyboard to the color classic I bought many years ago.
I won’t ever scrap that one, in almost perfect condition.
I don't even try these keyboards anymore. I throw them right out, because I've never gotten a good one. They went bad in the 90s! The full-size ones are a lot more reliable if a little less cool-looking.
Cool one
Thanks!
Some of those old clicky keyboards have gold contacts!! I never did a Mac keyboard but have found some others with gold contacts ,so check yours out see if your brass isn't gold plated ..........or not.
Thank you for the suggestion. They look like brass but I will absolutely check to make sure. Thanks again.
Nice gold finger boards, cool gifts of @thats right recycling ♻️ewaste Mike knows his boards for sure 👍, great video buddy 👍
Mike definitely does, I’ve learned a lot from him, especially during his livestreams.
Thanks for watching.
Rite on man , I got a box of keyboards today lol
Nice! Thank you for watching.
Haha nice sounds awesome my friend even though I have no idea what your talking about 😂😂 great video buddy!
😂
Thank you for watching buddy!
Nice tear down. Those buttons are fun to remove
Thank you for watching buddy.
Cool, I always wondered.
I got my first tub tv to scrap today. Not to good, aluminum, aluminum, and aluminum. That's ok, tho I will find another. For some reason, I always passed on TV'S.
All of it was aluminum? Even the part (yolk) sitting around the tube?
Plasma tvs are loaded with lots of good stuff.
Thank you for watching.
@scrapitall200 yes even the yolk, lol. I was disappointed but it is what it is. I got .39 oz of copper and 1 transformer thats 3oz. I'm going to micro scrap the transformer tho.
@@KPaul7 wow, that is the first time I’ve ever heard the yolks being aluminum, thanks for that information.
@scrapitall200 it was a 2004 GE 20 inch
@@KPaul7 good to know, thank you!
That's Right Recycling makes a lot of good videos. It was great of him to send you that stuff.
It was so cool of him! Thank you for watching.
In the voice of Ewaste Mike.. WHY ? 😅😂😂
Fun! It’s all fun to me! 😂
Thank you for watching.
👋 great video! I was wondering what you do with gold?
Thank you!
Right now I’m just holding onto stuff while I look for someone to refine it for me.
Now, gold stuff that comes from computers I sell to Boardsort. I’ll be doing a video on that soon.
Thank you for watching.
Did you check for a Steve Jobs signature on that key board
lol, no!
I’ve got two more that I’m keeping though.
Thank you for watching.
ThatsRightRecycling is very generous.
👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁
He really is!
Have a great day!
Hey, you going live with the guys this Friday?
Yeah, we should be. Hope to see you there buddy.
I have a box full of the mylar cards but no clue what to do with them as I can't recover the silver. I'd rather recover the brass from these old ones all day long
Me too brother, at least the brass we can easily sell. Thank you for watching.
@scrapitall200 bro I'm always watching 😀
@@ScrappingScotland I know you do brother and it means a lot to me.
better to sold the hole Thing if it is ok
I suppose it could’ve been fixed but it’s been out in the rain for a very long time.
@@scrapitall200 Rain doesn't matter if there's no rust on it
@@andreabc1469 I have two more in perfect condition that I’m keeping.
That keyboard looks way less fun than regular keyboards, and that's saying something.
Truth 🤣
Thanks for watching buddy.
@@scrapitall200 no problem. That's a pretty nice gift.
@@HHRecycling it was! Especially all that ram
@1:28: what’s the long strip of e-waste that you failed to mention?
It’s just a board from a tv, nothing fancy
@@scrapitall200 : I scrapped a flat screen tv and got two of those strips and a circuit board but I guess a waste of time?
@@Kerry-G there’s gold platting on them but unless you are going to refine them with acid or find someone to refine them for you, best to leave them on the tv. The circuit boards are worth grabbing though. You can sell a lot of ewaste to a company called Boardsort.
@@scrapitall200 : I know about Boardsort from watching your videos and I keep the circuit boards but I guarantee I’m not under ANY circumstances going through the process of acid retrieval for gold. As always thanks for the info ☮️🙏🏽🌞
@@Kerry-G oh cool!
Yeah I’m with you there, I’m not dealing with acids either.
You’re welcome and I appreciate you watching my videos.
