Bro I super felt your pain. I did the same crap with my iPhone XS MAX screen replacement, I don’t know if it was me or came that way tbh. I didn’t feel it crack or hear it it just had a hair line across the bottom left corner a 45 deg about 1/4 inch in the corner. Lucky for me it was only only a day Amazon wait time to get another one. Nice video I just bought a cheap 40$ GoPro 5 off eBay stating touch screen doesn’t come on, so taking the gamble it’s just a screen issue like this. Was seeing how hard it is to do and seems super easy thanks to your video. I will be picking up the T-7000 I have heard it’s great for waterproofing again after opening and breaking original seal.
Thank the Lord you only had to wait one day lol. But I hope fixing the go pro 5 goes well for you. The T-7000 is doing a good job holding everything together on mine, I haven't put it in any water though.
Your camera is different than mine, yours fell apart with very little effort, mine, I had to use a heat gun, several large prying devices & a T-4 torx driver, then I find that there was nothing wrong with the rear screen, It works fine when out of the housing but not when it's assembled??
Hey, thanks for the video. Totally resurrected my busted GoPro!
Thank you for this video! I'm finally going to fix my GoPro Hero 5 now.
Love the video big dawg 😍
Thank you thank you 🙏🏽 ❤️

Thanks for the video bro is very helpful
Glad I could help!
Do I really need to disassemble it all the way or can I remove the screen only
You can try

It was my second time taking it off. The new adhesive was nowhere near as bad as the original. But it sounds like yours may have a different issue
ive never done anything like this before, do you think I could do this with little to no experience?
Yes it is very do able. Just be careful with the new screen
@@sidbrant where did you get the new screen from?
