Thank you so much. I’ve always wanted to record my process, but I don’t have a lot of money for a camera. This is so helpful!
I dont have any money
1.im poor
2.im only twelve
Me too
Heyy mee too.. tripod are expensive
@@anjumryd123 you can get a phone tripod
It's affordable
@@anjumryd123 not expensive, I have tripod, its only 3 dolar
Thanks for the tips. I think I'll need to look into the horizontal arm for the tripod. A few people have suggested I start a CZcams channel for my drawings but I don't feel the need to record any audio of me speaking. I'll probably just film my drawing and add some royalty-free music. I don't need to be a "CZcams celebrity" I just want to share my drawing process.
that's fine. Lot of people don't talk. Some do ASMR type noises of drawing, Those don't bother me. Some put text on the screen instead of talking. Or put in description or a comment
@@recoveringsoul755 I usually watch the artist that have music and text on the screen while they work.
I use music and text on my drawing videos
I think thats pretty cool!!!
That’s exactly what I wanted to do too
As usual, very informative. Keep in mind also, when you are describing your ideal lighting situation, with natural light, that natural light can be very strong even on a cloudy day, but a piece of lg. white cardboard mounted just out of camera range on the opposite side can provide "bounce" lighting for fill purposes; that helps resolve ( or "fill") the stark shadows that may result. It also looks as though the window you are seated next to is shaded, or translucent, rather than transparent, which is also very useful for diffusing strong natural light.
Ayo thanks
I can't follow you, can you dumb it down? In one sentence, if you can.
@@erinnvan1941 he is saying that sometimes its good to have natural light instead of a light bulb
Finally a good explanation from start to finish! Thank you from one artist to another!

Wow, I didn't know about frame rate and how other factors impact it. Thanks so much!
Frame rate only matters if there is ARTIFICIAL light source in your video. The light source can be from a tablet display, phone display, phone torch, from ceiling lights, wall lights.

I too purchased a gooseneck holder. I haven't been able to find a spot for ut though, because it shakes too much! Any suggestions?
