Someone needs to thoroughly address the issue that Jesus is not God. God. God is a sovereign God and there's no other God besides him. He is God alone. Though he goes by many names, he said, I am the god of Abraham, the god of Isaac, and the god of Jacob (Exodus 3:15). This is my name forever, forever, forever. And of course, all this other names are fine as long as they are referencing God and not Jesus.
If his people only means his race then why does the bible talk about the olive branch that is grafted in and Jesus dying on the cross for the entire world? That's not Biblically true.
Poor discerning of scripture and misconstruing of scripture. "His people" does not refer to a specific group of peoples. It speaks to anyone who believes on his name as "his people." "Afflicted for my name sake" is also speaking to anyone who is a follower of christ. If those scriptures were speaking about the isrealites it would've stated it as such. Instead it generalized it to mean "anyone" who is a follower of Christ would be his people.
