In this episode of MOAM, Ron rolls up on the home of our friends at GASP & Better Bodies. You know it's legit when it has hosted the likes IFBB pro legends Branch Warren, Shawn Ray, and features 4 Olympia Championship jerseys including Natalia Melo (Bikini), Derek Lunsford (212) and our very own Shaun Clarida (212 x2)!💥
⭐The lone star state gym features several Prime equipment, plus a massive selection of highly functional European-imported Gymleco machines, including ergonomic 8-stacks & unique super man row. Gym director Michael Johansson explains to Ron that due to the extremely high volume of use on their equipment they needed to focus on machines that give maximum benefit to the consumer with as little "friction" as possible. The gym also features a monster of a bilateral leg press custom branded for GASP (we're just a little jealous...).
The gym also features a large MMA training space and believe it or not - it's own in-house bodybuilding barber shop! 🪒💇🏾💈Ron stops in for a pre-workout fade & shave before he absolutely destroys a shoulder workout with GASP OG and long-time friend, Guy Cisternino.
The best advice these two dish out between each muscle busting set? Never be too stuck in your ways to think you can't improve your training technique. Above all, live by the slogan on the wall - NO EXCUSES!🙌🏾

I retesting thoughts about retired bodybuilders. When you’re competing being set in your ways and dogmatic. Once you retire the pressure is off and that frees you up to try different things and lo and behold there a lot of other things out there that really work well when you can explore.
I think retired Ron and Guy look better than competition Ron and Guy.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a whole “retired pros” class come in competition…. But that kind of a contradiction in terms… lol
