Her excitement to be returning instantly brought me to tears. What a special place.
this is what they mostly miss in every space movie!
ecause they escaped death due to 3 times helium leak and 5 thrusters shut down. Its a miracle that they still alive and didnt become space junk.
@@uyu4271 Plus one of the guys requested fresh underwear cause somebody pooped their pants
0:33 That hug has some real power behind it.
You can feel the excitement to return to the ISS and to do so in a new spacecraft. Giving the US (and the West as a whole) more than one option to get into space.
These two have definitely solidified their name in the history books!
Man that was soo cool the lady just floated above everyone to get a better picture. At 3:26

@@uyu4271 you don't know why either. It's probably because she was excited to be back up there.
It's been almost 12 years since she last went to the ISS, she has every right to be excited.
The wild hair! I'm so jealous!
Space hugs look like the best hugs youll ever have
I want one
I am so happy they reached successfully!! I was so nervous and scared if boeing could make it 💗 Congratulations Boeing, let's have some faith in you now
Suni really knows how to make an entrance 😂
@@uyu4271 Go away!
Suni is such a legend ❤
It's the crazy hair lady! I remember the ISS tour. Glad she's back. I missed her. :)
Oh yes! Thank God!! So happy to see y'all again.. Congratulations 🎊
Wow. Well done. Congratulations
Glad they got there safe!
Close call, but no return it's out of gas.
Its crazy to think about that we got humans floating around our Earth
I met a few people who were in orbit without leaving the ground. :-O

Suni is sunny
You can say that again!
because they escaped death due to 3 times helium leak and 5 thrusters shut down. Its a miracle that they still alive and didnt become space junk. Of course they celebrate their nearly death experience. But new challenge : Starliner needs to bring back 2 astronauts back to earth, with not enough fuel and 5 thrusters down and only 2 thrusters are functioning.

Friendship in space *should equal* friendship on Earth. I hope we get there, some day... 🙂
Glad they eventually made it safe 😊
congratulations to the starliner crew
ps loved suni's enthusiasm
Her enthusiasm is contagious!😅
This is why women shouldn’t be in space
To go to the space station three times that has to be one of the most amazing jobs ever especially doing it on different Rockets and shuttles and capsules what a life they have lived your dreams can come true if you work hard at it and stick to that dream no matter what gets in your way
Warm welcome ❤
ขอให้เดินทางปลอดภัย😊
What a surreal feeling it must be
Yeahhhhh!! God bless our wonderful astronauts!!
I can't help but be a big fan of Suni. My daughter is an aspiring pilot so I am working to make her a fan of Suni too. It is not hard when Suni just goes about her day being awesome.
Astronauts, have one of the coolest jobs…..stressful, yes…but cool.
I wonder what flat-earthers feel in moments like this.
They're looking for wires lol
They're too busy snorting their copium.
Probably laugjing their heads off at the hair being waved about to accentiate zero gravity
Sunita been on the Red-Bull and to the "How to act American" seminars galore!

Sunita is really enjoying that❤
Suni's entrance, can't be topped off better.

her 11 year old video of ISS tour is insane..
Amazing feat!!
Congrats to Boeing and America. Great job
When are they coming back
One more successful step forward for all humankind, bravo!

They were lucky to get there!!!
Come Back Safely, Please. 🙏🏼
Proud moment for india and all the world
The scary part is they have to ride home in the capsule that brung them without a 1000 technicians available for a tuneup.

**Title: Helium Storage and Leak Management System with Internal Compression and Bulkheads**
**Overview:**
The proposed system enhances helium storage and leak management within a single tank by using internal compression mechanisms and bulkheads instead of traditional valves. This approach aims to improve robustness, efficiency, and reliability in managing helium storage and pressure differentials for leak detection and sealing.
**Key Components:**
1. **Single Tank Design:**
- The entire system is contained within a single tank, which simplifies the design and reduces potential failure points associated with multiple tanks and interconnecting valves.
2. **Internal Bulkheads:**
- **Compartmentalization:** The tank is divided into multiple sealed compartments using internal bulkheads. These bulkheads provide structural integrity and allow for compartmentalized pressure control.
- **Isolation:** Each compartment can be isolated from the others, enabling targeted pressure adjustments and localized leak detection.
3. **Compression Mechanism:**
- **Localized Compressors:** Each compartment is equipped with its own localized compressor. These compressors create the necessary pressure differentials within the compartments.
- **Pressure Adjustment:** The compressors can independently adjust the pressure in each compartment, allowing for precise control over the helium flow and storage conditions.
4. **Pressure Monitoring and Control:**
- **Sensors:** Pressure sensors are placed in each compartment to continuously monitor pressure levels. These sensors provide real-time data on the internal conditions of the tank.
- **Central Control System:** A central control system regulates the operation of the compressors based on sensor data, ensuring optimal pressure levels are maintained across all compartments.
5. **Leak Detection and Sealing:**
- **Pressure Differential Detection:** The pressure differential created by the localized compressors aids in identifying leaks. A compartment with lower-than-expected pressure is indicative of a potential leak.
- **Automated Sealing Mechanisms:** Upon detecting a leak, automated sealing devices within the affected compartment are activated. These devices use the helium flow and pressure differential to effectively seal the leak.
6. **Safety Features:**
- **Flow Channels:** Internal flow channels ensure that helium can move efficiently within and between compartments as necessary, facilitating effective pressure management.
- **Pressure Relief Systems:** Safety valves and pressure relief systems are incorporated to prevent over-pressurization and ensure safe operation of the tank.
**Advantages:**
- **Enhanced Reliability:** The use of bulkheads and compartmentalization increases the robustness of the system, reducing the risk of total system failure due to leaks.
- **Efficient Leak Management:** The pressure differential and automated sealing mechanisms provide efficient and effective leak detection and management.
- **Simplified Design:** A single tank design with internal bulkheads simplifies the system, reducing the number of components and potential points of failure.
- **Precise Control:** Localized compressors and a central control system allow for precise pressure adjustments and optimal helium storage conditions.
**Conclusion:**
This helium storage and leak management system leverages internal compression and bulkheads to provide a robust, efficient, and reliable solution. By compartmentalizing the tank and using localized pressure control, the system can effectively manage helium storage, detect leaks, and perform automated sealing, ensuring safe and optimal operation.

It must hurt to keep smiling all the time. Always smiling they are.

USNA '87!!! Welcome HOME Suni 😊
Amazing success 😊
Love space
God I love Suni Williams
9 people ,it’s bigger than I thought
Average crew is 7
But they had 13 at one point because the changeover schedule got messed up a bit, it started to get a little tight at that point from the reports, i think the air system is capable for like, 25 or so(don’t quote me) if they really needed too but at that point they are burning food and water supplies very quickly and somebody needs to get going lol
Congratulation 🎊 suuuuper ,,job,,😊 👏 🎉
Honest question: Does the ISS stink all the time? I mean, when they go #2, is there any air cleaning or does it linger?
I bet they were glad to get off that thing
Imagine if Boeing Forgot to put the heat shield on starliner?
They’re excited cuz they can finally fix the commode… 😅

What happens if a strand of that overly long hair ends up flowing around the station and finds it way onto what would be an airlock seal? I’m not an engineer so I’m wondering if it could cause a failure of sorts if it ends up on a seal/surface of zero tolerance which would prevent a perfect closure. Would the pressures that be have an affect?
The vacuum of space is not so volatile that a small tiny breach in the seal would cause a catastrophic decompression. It isn't like the movies where a tiny hole would suck everything out of it. A small hole the size of a dime could be plugged up with a finger and have no ill effects.
I love her hair
Luckiest people ❤❤ only few people have reachd ISS .....
I wish it was me 😢😢
After all the delays Boeing still has issues with helium leaks on the capsule for the thrusters, glad they made it safely, hopefully they resolved the parachute issues since they land on the hard ground.
Didn't they offer tea or beverages upon arrival?
Woohoo !! Go Boeing !!

So lucky to make it, but now the capsule is out of gas.
This is proof that the weightless environment of space makes your head huge and hair get very long. I am going bald so I want to go to space to fix it.

@@miguelolvera5993 Not this time. The helium leaks were not mission critical and the valves were shut off anyway. Quite apart from that, the spacecraft was able to manoeuvre and dock successfully. A great ride, in spite of it taking better than 2.5 hrs to open the freakin' door hatch! You'd think Boeing could've figured it out by now!
Well the upshot here is 1. We have another vehicle platform for NASA missions, to and from the moon, and beyond. And 2. no loose bolts or door plugs blowing out 1/2 way there.
Kudos Boeing, kudos NASA, big kudos Star Liner.. much much more success to all. Damn the torpedoes full speed ahead!

They are so far behind the Russians! Soyuz has been doing this since the seventies!

The US has new, modern technology.
Russia has neither the time nor the money to improve anything, they are too busy killing their neighbours.
