Just like you, Yvonne, Risey will always be a Rising Star, maybe not as a dressage horse, but definitely as an Internet superstar. He also is giving hope to other horse parents that a wobbler’s horse can have a good quality of life on a breeding farm as a babysitter and teacher of the young horses. Kind horses like Risey are so valuable in their own way xxxxxxxxxx

The thing about stars is they never end up where their expected to be. Rising Star aka Risey might not becoming what you thought but he's becoming what he is. Wobbler changed his trajectory but not his path. He'll always be a Rising Star to every person touched by his story.

He is responsible for so much joy for so many, like his mem, Queen Uniek, but in a different way,
Risey is still a Rising Star because of how well he is doing. He is also not giving up just because he has wobbler.
This is true of Rising Star! He is that and much mote for all of us who love him as he is. He’s a gorgeous horse in temperment and his looks - wow❤🐴

My Family and I are too. That is why it was crucial to give him a chance to live. I look at it like this, I would want a chance to live. Life is a GIFT and our Queen Uniek extended Rising Star life when she adopted him and he loved her so much.
The path Yvonne intended for Risey has changed but I don't know if that's entirely a bad thing. He can still be the companion to the yearlings as they're weaned just as he's doing for Yfke and then later Blomke and Belle. Yvonne saved his life when he was just days old and she's still doing it. I think it's a beautiful thing and a very brave thing.
He will always be a Rising Star to us. He’s certainly the rising star of your channel, and the star of your stable.
Risey is still a Rising Star to us and he seems to be doing better and better to my eye, for what that's worth. You and Risey may never be quite the same as planned but you are both still exceptional in many ways. And by the way, you should make sure those two young ladies know that we do notice what skilled and wonderful equestrians they are becoming.

That's exactly what I just posted. The amount of experience and knowledge these girls are getting is every girl's dream.. I have a lot of health issues and recently started equine therapy. It's giving me a sense of freedom I haven't felt in a long long time. I physically am unable to do certain things but with riding, it's another thing. I'm learning so much from my instructor but also learning certain things through Yvonne's videos. I have no doubt these girls will look back at the things they've learned from their experiences.

I would have never of known about this stable/page if it wasn’t for Rising Star…He is still Rising Star…you need to write a book about his wobblers and him overcoming challenges…would be great for special needs children. Risey will always be a Rising Star. When I see him I always flash back to that 1 day old foal walking into Stal G. He was amazing then and still is today especially with his human mem Yvonne taking such incredible care of him. We love you both ❤

my mare did NOT like worming or sunscreen on her nose. she hated both but I persevered. Risey is a beauty, everyone loves him!
I tried the blue pellets for worming, but a horse can eat the food around the pellets and not touch one wormer pellet. Wnen I used paste I always ended up wearing a bit of Ivarmectin paste with each horse I treated.
Risey will be a good companion to the babies. Risey has a very beautiful head. Beginning to get his adult look ❤️

Yvonne simply meant that he’s different now compared to how he was before the wobblers hit,it doesn’t mean that he’s any less important or loved by her(she herself deals with chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis which means she has a bit of an idea of what Risey experiences day to day)Also just a little tip, I know we’re referring to a 🐎 here however “crippled” wouldn’t be the correct word to use instead disabled or different is more appropriate. This is coming from a human (me)who is part of the disabled community as when it comes to people like myself wording is important & though Risey doesn’t understand I just thought I’d share for the future.💚💚

It’s wonderful seeing these beautiful horses enjoying the pasture again. Thank you for showing us the vitamin and medications for Risey. We all want to see improved quality of life for him. Yvonne, I’m so happy Risey’s gelding has made him comfortable now to be with fillies/mares in heat, or hopefully any equine company. He’s free to express his beautiful personality without the stress of powerful sexual urges and possible isolation from his herd- a great decision for Risey!
To me he is still Rising Star, with the forever influence from his great
Mama Uniek in him!
Even with wobblers and
the change of the dream of dressage, I think Risey’s greatness
will emerge in other ways, as it has for you after your injury. It’s there in his soul and will be expressed, with your

I hope Risey will be able to be in the pasture with all the ladies now that he is gelded. I hope his Wobbler's doesn't prevent him from being like Sjors with his ladies. Ugh, I just remembered how spicy Coralle gets over everything she sees as hers. Yep there is definitely going to be a wire between Risey and the ladies. Would Reintje allow Risey and Yfke in the pasture with her? Well until she foals. Yfke and Risey are so cute together. Puppy love and pre-teen crushes. 🤭 Yfke you still have two more years before you can have a foal of your own.
I shall think Rising Star is the only horse at Stal H who could put Coralle in her place as he's an alpha and matches her energy, although that would not really stop her from being territorial over the mares.
@stopthecap6913 no Risey is younger than Coralle so she will still be alpha
@@darthsol658 Well Rising Star is no child anymore, age does not really play a factor at this point, he's already ready for a herd now behaviourally, is/was fertile as well as does not show clacking motion and teases the mares by biting them. Coralle isn't the alpha, she's the lead mare, only males have the title of alpha as they are the highest ranked and protect the herd instead of micromanaging (mares' roles are to protect their foals, that requires them to be territorial. Male horses' roles are to keep the herd close and safe from challengers/intruders).
Rising Star was in a bachelor herd and bachelor herds are much more physical and aggressive, she's a dominant mare but I do not believe she's as dominant as Risey, considering everything we've seen so far from the two in terms of that aforementioned aspect. She gives half-hearted warnings at best and can be petty but she's not as physical or overzealous as Risey. We already saw this with Sjors, did not even take much resistence for him to become the alpha and even with the foals around, the mares would have trouble fending him off when he'd snake them.
Risey may be younger but he's already taller and bigger than her, as well as behaviourally already that of a mature horse. Although certainly not a situation he needs with his wobbler.
Coralle is such a beautiful horse. She's a picture of health thanks to you Yvonne. I'll miss her when she leaves, and I think she'll miss her friends at Stal H. I wonder if she's the boss at where she came from. :o) I think Risey is the "Sjors" of Stal H. I love him.
Rising Star will always be a star to so many of us. From that little confused foal to the happy big boy that he is today, we love to watch and hear about him. I have worked as teacher with special needs children and understandably often parents struggle with their child's diagnosis and the long term plans for their child that they must now make, so different to what they thought they were going to do. I have heard counselors tell them to think of it this way: "You have a long trip planned to the tropics and then your ship takes you to Iceland with no warning. It's quite a surprise and you weren't ready for that. But Iceland is also a wonderful destination and it will give you much joy to go there. Yes, you will have to change a lot about your trip but it will be just as fantastic in the long run as your other plans. This is what it is like to have a special needs child." And so Yvonne, your "planned trip" with Rising Star is not quite where you thought you were going but it will end up being a wonderful journey, even if there are some sad bits.
