Cherry Jam 🍒 The easiest and perfect jam

with this cherry jam, a simple and easy recipe.
Recipe ingredients
1 Kilo of Cherries
2 Cups of Sugar (450 g)
Zest of 1 Lemon
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 Vanillin
Prescription Process
Cut the cherries in half with a knife
We remove the seeds over a bowl, to collect the juices
We choose ripe and sweet cherries without bumps
Put 1 kg of cherries and 2 cups of sugar 450 g in a bowl.
Mix well
Cover with cling film for 1-2 hours to release their juices
1-2 hours later we remove the film
Put the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat, and stir with a wooden spoon
Add the zest of 1 lemon
We cook for 35-40 minutes, from the moment the boiling starts
Skim the foam from the surface with a slotted spoon
Stir more often when the jam thickens
Put a spoonful of syrup on a frozen plate
Draw a line with the spoon, if it stays in place the jam is ready
We grind the cherries as smooth as we want with a rhabdoblender
In the last 2-3 minutes, add 1 vanilla and juice from 1 lemon
Stir and bring to a boil, then remove from heat
Store the hot jam in a sterilized jar
We keep it in the fridge, just like when we open the jar
