    • How to Cook Oatmeal - ...
Don't like oatmeal? Don't know how to cook oatmeal? No worries, I have the best way to cook oatmeal that will turn the hardest of critics into a fan! Not to mention how healthy it is to have a bowl of oatmeal everyday, but to do so, it helps that it tastes great!
Okay, so "The Best Oatmeal Ever" might be just my own opinion, because I know there are a lot of people who don't like the taste of oatmeal mainly because of it's bland taste. I used to think the same way until I tried Quaker Oats old fashioned oatmeal the way you see me cook the oatmeal in this video, and from then on I've been hooked. To me it is the "best oatmeal ever"! So I hope you learn my secret and learn to enjoy oatmeal the way I do.
The way I cook oatmeal gives it a whole new meaning to lumpy oatmeal. Everyone has different preferences in how they like their oatmeal and how to cook their oatmeal. Whole discussions will ensue on how oatmeal should be eaten. But not a lot of talk on how to cook oatmeal. Why? Well, because how to cook oatmeal should be a given. Probably one of the simplest way to cook anything. Just add water and let the oatmeal cook for a few minutes and add a whole lot of other stuff (sugar, salt, syrup, cinnamon, etc) to hide the flavor, and that's it! Right? Wrong!!
How to cook the best oatmeal ever takes a whole new way to cooking oatmeal. To cook oatmeal takes about five minutes and a careful eye to make sure you cook the oatmeal just right. After that, you can add any combination of healthy fruit of your liking, even nuts, which is my favorite, for a completely delicious breakfast.
This is the way how I cook the best oatmeal ever:
    1 1/2 cups of water
3/4 cup of Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oat Meal
Optional: 1 banana and a handful of blueberries
First pour 1 1/2 cup of water in a medium size pan and let it boil. When water boils, add 3/4 cup of Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oatmeal, stir it just to soak it into the water. Let it cook for about a minute and a half, or until the foam gets too high in the pan. Just as a side note: I only use Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oatmeal, because it is the only oatmeal that will, once cooked, have the texture that makes the best oatmeal ever. After a minute and a half stir it a few times just to move things around a bit, and let it cook for another minute or so, then start stirring it until you start seeing the bottom of the pan each time your stirring utensil goes through the oatmeal. Once you start seeing that happen, then it becomes your preference on how you like your oatmeal; you can make it as dry as you want or leave it that way because at this point, you just have cooked the best oatmeal ever! Personally, I like it on the dryer side.
Then I add a banana, which I split into four long strips and then chop it in bits to give me the maximum amount to little bits of banana through out my oatmeal. I also add blueberries. Sometimes I'll add almonds, which is also awesome.
And there you have it! How to cook the best oatmeal ever! Probably one of the best breakfast food you'll ever have in a daily basis. There are a lot of benefits from eating oatmeal regularly, one of them being the ability to help control cholesterol.
Keep watching my channel for more tips. Below I have a link to
the oatmeal I use on Amazon if you would like to buy it there.

This video helped me learn how to cook oatmeal because my family never made it before and/or said they didn't like it. I have however tweaked it for taste...
Equal parts of oats, almond milk, and water (I use a cup just for me 😊), a little salt, cinnamon, half a chopped apple and some raisins...they get softer when cooked with the o.m. Top with remaining chopped apple, cinnamon, and a drizzle of real maple syrup or honey. NO sugar needed. I have converted those who wouldn't eat it before 😁

For a long time now, I've made oatmeal this way. In a 4 cup (1 quart) microwave bowl, combine 3 tbs. of old fashioned oatmeal with 1 baby spoon of stevia sweetener. Add a covering of cinnamon to taste (I'm pretty generous with this). Now add 1/3 cup of Silk Milk and stir a little. Pop the bowl into your microwave for 1 minute, stir to break up any lumps, then add about 50 more seconds microwave time. Remove from oven and stir in approx 3 tablespoons of peanut butter until well blended and finally, add 3 tablespoons (or to taste) of ground flax seed. Yummy! This recipe has worked most well for me! It has great legs so can carry you to lunch without sugar spikes! Enjoy.

I like to add a slab of disterbed Oranic Valley butter and a half cup of re chilled strait Organic Valley cream in the bowel. And if course salt just prior to the butter. Topped with a tablespoon of cheap brown sugar. I used to use half and half but it just us not as filling. Eating more fat has improved my health and lowered inflamation. It is best to rechill cream after the gentle warming in bag transport from market. Cheers

Nice video, for those that are not a fan of oat meal but eat it as a weight lost breakfast, I recommend getting an oatmeal that has 4-5g of sugar in it. The ones that have 1g sugar are really hard to eat because of the cardboard flavor and sugar for breakfast is actually vital in having energy for the cardio workouts.

Finally someone who cooks the oats as i do , keypoint here is that not many are aware of the following misunderstandings 1. Oats are healthy so i add milk ... No that way it is no longer the healhy kind of oats unless it is milk from oats , soy or whatever yet another common mistake is the kind of food you optionally add , i noticed many having oats with banana and milk , now why do i know this is not good? Oats are glutenfree grains that consist of a lot of water and essential minerals etc so adding milk will make the milk sort of flush down the toilet due stimula for bowel , it doesnt get enough time to be fully absorbed by the body , so if you believevyou already had your daily glas and a half of dairy think again , secondly in the banana case you do not wanna add milk to this , milk and banana is really just the opposites from eachother making the oats reduce your bloodsugarlevels that much you are gonna crave for sugars, but add water and have it cooked and what you get are oats that have been drinking , read "like fresh harvested full oats " , that way all the beneficial sides from oats can do their job properly , even when adding banana because the water is longer inside and you dont flush anything down to the toilet . Ps i do c dislikes , perhaps those folks didnt have a clue its the clean healthy way . Thumbs up !

My oatmeal is the best ever. Boil cashew milk, add oatmeal lower heat, when it gets to the consistency that you want, turn off the heat put a tablespoon peanut butter and for sweetness add maple syrup but not too much because the oatmeal is already mildly sweet just add maple syrup for that extra sweetness. Top it with your favorite fruit or nuts. I dont use any because its so good just with maple syrup and pb.

Keep eating oats every which way. Much much healthier for the body than all those unnatural sugary breakfast cereals kids eat that won't give the sustainable energy that oats do. Children need a filling breakfast to get them through a school day without getting hyper active. If you can avoid dairy all the better. Scots porridge oats is what we have over here. For variety I am going to toast my oats with nuts and seeds to make a home made granola. Any suggestions here would be welcomed as home made is always healthier and cheaper than commercial 'products' Sharing recipe boards on Pinterest is an idea. I have Pressure king pro and would love to learn how to make real yogurt.
