As visual aesthetics go, Simon's images are astounding, not "better". NASA's are primarily to garner data on every aspect of Helio-science and therefore better across the spectrum, by a huge margin.
That is not to detract from the well deserved praise Simon gets for his amazing work.

NASA serves no useful purpose anymore. About all they do is to preach climate change - which isn't what they were even meant for.
Yeah, this is really impressive.
Was about to say 🤔
you know nasa has thousands of projects and maintenance on old projects all at the same time with that budget, and for a budget as large and impossible as what a singular f16 costs they have to fight for it
are there is alot of inefficiencies and projects that have not done as good as planned, yes, but we are talking about the cutting edge of science and an organisation so massive its impossible to manage perfectly to not waste money, and also alot of the money goes to contractors and they certainly take many times money than they should
@@besher532 yet this guy has a cheap ass telescope and is on par with our tax payer funded federal organization. I mean, if we can get these results from a space enthusiast with a budget close to .10000000 times the size, I’d take him over NASA any day.

Simultaneously fascinating and frightening in equal measure
space is really both fascinating and frightening in equal measure. thats one of the reasons why i love it that much!
The most frightening is knowing that the sun will explode in 5b years
Fr, that's all I felt and shock & awe for God's creation
It's okay. When our sun super novas, the earth will be consumed by the sun's expansion and will cease to exist. I find that comforting.
Our star is not big enough to go super nova, and it’s still debated whether the earth would be consumed during the red giant phase or not. Yes, it will expand to earth’s current orbit, but changes to the gravity well will also cause changes to earth’s orbit.
That's absolutely amazing what Simon did and it shows how intelligent he is!!!! I would love to see if he has other images like that of other planets
Both Simon and NASA have some absolutely amazing photos and footage. The images are frighteningly beautiful.
Amazing pictures of the sun, so alive with all that nuclear fusion, incredibly clear, well done.We need more pictures like this, also from Neptune,Saturn and all others bodies in our system.I enjoy so much to see a star who is giving as a life.Thank you

Yea, Simon is a very good content creator.
Yeah, He created the universe and everything in it. A creation must have a creator. God gave this man knowledge and the devil is using him to fool people. And there are those who think God doesn't exist. We were created. A creation must have a creator. Why people can't see that baffles me. Satan has hardened their hearts.
@@Wayne-745 That’s a nice story. Got anything to actually back up anything you said?
Yeah. When I was in high school I prayed to God that when I died, I want to die saving someone's, anyone's, life. To me that's the coolest way to die, giving your life so someone else could live.
So I graduated and I joined a little gym to get into shape so I could take whatever I had to do. I weighed 180 and I had gotten to where I could bench my weight. I asked God if He could just wait until I could bench press 200, then I'd be ready. I exercised until I could lift my target weight.
I located underground utility lines for a job so I did nothing but walk all day so my cardio was excellent. I was in great shape and just waiting for the time. I went fishing with my dad a short time after I became ready so I was watching everywhere. My dad said I seemed nervous and wanted to tell him something. I wanted to tell him but at the same time didn't want to.
We started heading for a nice spot down the river and we came to this 200 yard long, 80 yards wide straight way. We had just turned on it when we saw another boat coming at us. The closer we got nose to nose the closer to our bank they pushed us. The speedometer on our boat said we were going 30 nmph and dad said if we were going 30 the other boat had to have been doing 20-25.My dad didn't slow up because he likes to get crazy and stupid behind him.
How often did we hear of something like this happen where we were fishing? Never, that's how often. I knew this was the time so I stiffened up and closed my eyes so I wouldn't flinch. I don't remember that exactly but I know me and what I'd do. In fact, that happened in August and the last thing I surely remember is the Garth Brooks concert in April. This was a in '98 and I remember little things like me finding a CD player in a road in one of my subdivisions that I was in control of. I remember parts of the conversation me and dad had driving to the river and telling him that not long ago I pressed 200. The next thing I remember for sure was waking up in the hospital and believing that I was dreaming.
I died, a couple of times, so God did answer all of my prayers, I just didn't stay dead. Now you are surely going to say something like that couldn't have happened the way I said it happened. My family says that and some of them are the reason I believe in God. They got me going to church.
Another thing you may say is something I've heard too, and that's the angle the boat hit me and the way I was sitting caused the boar to hit my head and skim it but still hit me square enough on my temple to do some damage. But my favorite one is that I saw danger coming and I just froze up in fear. I don't know whether I love that one or hate it.
Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm not trying to force my beliefs on you. You asked me a question and I answered it. Take from it what you will.
Amen ! God is Great !
I don't think it's a matter of which is better, but having a different look, view or perspective of something can be a new learning experience.
Your perspective is how I feel about the Stupid Astronomers efforts, it is very interesting. I'm a little surprised no one else had not tried this before without publishing their images. It seems it could be very dangerous to point the telescope without the common sense that it could cause blindness if done with the naked eye! I pray no one without this basic knowledge is harmed!
To be able to look from a different perspective, one should be enough intelligent to have capacity to entertain 2 opposing ideas.
So the sun is close and small. Something like 30-100 miles and not 93 mln miles away.

Without glare nor a burning human perpsective, merely the matter, power, as it should be seen. Less non-understandable glaring fire, more intricate & perfectly detailed. Combine it with a combination of non-glare orange magnetic waves, specially colored, & it's as accurate as our consciousness can perceive it for this decade.

There are plans in the next decade or two that will be a space-based telescope that uses gravitational lensing as the literal lens for the telescope. It's believed that not only will we me able to see exoplanets, we'll be able to see some actual *features* of the planet like mountains and oceans. It's absolutely mind blowing. @@Truthorfib there is ongoing research with both lobsters and axolotl for the purpose of extending human life in some regard. Lobsters don't generally die of "natural causes" and predation is what kills them. Something about their genetic makeup allows for them to continuously grow and essentially not have permanent oxidation of their cells like we and other species do. Axolotl can regenerate body parts incredibly well and they're neat little creatures. Cute too. Talking about the future and what's (possible) to come, perception is kind of funny. Neil deGrasse Tyson was asked a little while ago about wormholes and if we will ever be able to utilize them. He answered by talking about...elevators. In shorter words, he essentially said that if you traveled into the past and had people get on an elevator and stop at various floors on the way up, that would for them quite literally -at least as much as possible with being subjective - be the equivalent of worm holes. The doors open on one level and it's a giant food court. On the next level it opens and it's a spa. The next level a rock climbing gym, and so on. They would be so flabbergasted and beside themselves it would damn near break their minds. I used to live in Scotland and in Edinburgh, there's a building which has the "camera obscura". It uses lenses and mirrors to project the image of what is in view of the lens and you can move it to look at different areas in real time. It literally was the first time in history (at least for homo sapiens) of a "moving picture", outdating the first films by a good amount of time. There were men and women in attendance to see what this "machine" did and when they saw the town and people going about their lives in real time, it shook the attendees, especially the women. Some of them fainted, some got sick and hurled their guts out, some started fiercely praying as they thought they were witnessing the works of the devil himself right before them. For any of us in modern times there wouldn't be anything "unfamiliar" about seeing that, but for them when something like television may not have even been imagined at that time, it truly must have been as powerful as a true religious experience for some of them. It's absolutely worth doing the tour if you are ever in Edinburgh. I wonder what that kind of moment would be equivalent for us.

@@KanpachiGaming They have more personal, time, equipment, and money mate.
@@nopers369 And they have other stuff to do as well, mate. Like actually launching spacecraft and maintaining space missions. Maybe that should cross your mind first before comparing these two and saying one is more impressive than the other.
@@KanpachiGaming It did cross my mind, but thats another subject, and another department within NASA. If you are going to compare, compare equally and stop bringing in shit that isn't relevant to the conversation.
@@nopers369 You honestly thought they dedicated an entire department just to take pictures of the Sun, sure mate 😂😂😂
That precious Instagrammer of yours comes nowhere close to doing the work of an actual entire NASA department. Maybe come back once he successfully launches a solar orbiter lmao. Hell lemme know if he launched a rocket bottle, that would be quite a big step forward for him if you ask me
i knew the sun was just a giant cat
There is no Oxygen in Space. No Oxygen , No Fire🤭🤔🤫🤐
The forbidden cuddle fur ball
Thanks a lot for not calling out NASA like many fools do. Love both of them. It's like looking at works by two different photographers 💖
NASA is a joke! There you go!
That's quite an abundance of fibers and hairs on that furry ball! LoL ⚛️
Wow. Thats both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
Awesome you gave this dude a shoutout! Because of that you have a follower! Thanks for spreading the love! ❤
I congratulate Simon
Who knew the Sun was into the 70's with it's orange shag pile carpet. Cool !
I guess we’ll have to take their word for it.
I love the use of the Melodysheep music with the stunning, dwarfing images of our sun.
Which song is it?
those images are created by a computer, zoom into the sun with your phone ir does not look loke that, it's not even that far away from earth, also earth is flat and covered by a dome, ask me anything
Do you know which song it is?
@@blargblarg-jargon9607 yes, let's compare the optical capabilities of a $500 digital camera to a professional telescope, which costs at least $8000. do you even think before typing?
I was literally looking at google photos of the sun on my laptop then when I pull out my phone this is the first video that shows, wtf
I've been watching the sun through NASA for over a decade now and this is absolutely magnificent.
Great video! First of all, they never really show us all they have. That will never happen, at best. Once they’ve already exceeded something they show you some of before.
“Once they’ve already exceeded something” what?
NASA , is just producing them in different spectrums, x-ray, ultraviolet, etc. not better just different
How I view it as well
The sun looks hungry it needs more planets I mean food 😂
My God the sun is absolutely beautiful.
but bro does actually have better footage than nasa
So mesmerizing
I agree!
It's not that NASA _can't_ , it's that they don't explicitly _need_ to. NASA's need doesn't lie in producing visually stunning images, they need to produce the most scientifically valuable images.
Hoyte Van Hoytema and the team produced a far more spectacular visual of a black hole with Interstellar's Gargantua than of any actual black holes ever produced by the actual scientific community, but it's no match for the actual data inferred from actual images from black holes.
He is not stupid he is a wiser than another an astronaut
I wish he had an updated account on CZcams. Those videos are amazing!
Magnificent love this more from you Simon ❤ ❤❤❤
Honestly that was beautiful
