I'm more hype for this game than I've been in a long time. I almost wish everyone would leave all the leaks and stuff alone. Just give them their time and space to make the game we want. I'm willing to wait

I think they actually got this game right . I still keep going back to the fact that their is no single player . So all focus was concentrated on Multi player They have something fantastic .

I think they are in full blown mode or emergency mode, trying their best to get it up this weekend and face some issues or fully focus on the technical/server/whatever.... and like any IT business, they hope everything will be ready and can announce it.. but by not saying anything, this will cover their ass if they hit an issue.

I don’t care anymore. All these secrets and theories and crap isn’t the way to market a game. I don’t care how much hype is behind it. I got a release date on my pre order which is in October, so I’ll go with that. In the mean time I’ll prep myself with bf 1.

Might not be a bad idea, but they did that with BF5 Firestorm, delaying it months after release, and it was still poorly received. That was for a lot of reasons though, not just that it was delayed to come later after release
Yeah that’s true but I think BF2042 will do what COD did years ago. What I mean is just like Firestorm wasn’t received well, I think it was called blackout wasn’t either. Their first iteration. They got war zone right and I hope Hazard zone Dice gets right. All speculation.They have us on our toes lol

@@xbond1524 bypassing is apart of pretty much most if not all anti cheats. It's something you have to accept if you play PC. There will always be cheaters whether you like it or not. An anti cheat just makes it harder to bypass.

In the alpha the game use CTE DICE LA style of test, so if it got delay it might be because of them doing knowledge management.

Isn't there a massive issue with hackers selling cheats for 2042 already? It's possible they are doing something with whatever anti-cheat system they have.

If this radio silence is a marketing decision, this is the stupidest marketing strategy I have ever seen.. The little bit of trust DICE was regaining with me with the 2042 reveal is plummeting even more with each day DICE is watching the fire remaining in silence..

You raise good points. Personally, I think a delayed launch is a much better move than releasing early - for example, GTA V vs Cyberpunkers
I think they'd announce the beta a day before so it probably won't release randomly.
I thought hazard zone was coming out a little while after the full game. That would explain the lack of reveals.
These Devs need to realise they are not Rockstar and their type of games are not to be hidden, they need to show their fanbase what we are getting with no cuts. They don't need to show all the maps or gadgets ( these corny gadgets smh..), but they need to show stuff without cuts and how fresh it is compared to the competition.

i played the alpha. It was a test of servers not the game, don't make assumptions on the actual game based on those leaked videos. People also cause too much drama regarding the alpha. It was not meant to showcase the state of development or the game

I’ll be honest I’m happy seeing gameplay cause in my opinion if I see to much gameplay and when the game comes out and the gameplay isn’t like it but in a way it’s gonna surprise me when I play it myself

Yep! Back in February-ish. Issues could've cropped up since then, they could've lied, or things are going well and everyone is just freaking out for no reason. I'm more so thinking everyone is just freaking out, but things are on schedule.
@@diehardGG Even if they were way ahead of schedule back then, a delay would be taken as lying and I guarantee the atmosphere will turn very sour if that happens. A delay guarantees a buggy release. Battlefield fans don't trust Dice/EA.

Was the music for 1 scene
The gameplay for the alpha. Is looking solid for good player with higher quality resolution videos. Shit looks amazing and crispy. I dont expect the graphics to be much better than 5 counting all the things running 128 players details. Lots of vehicles. Weather effects large maps. >_> but the visuals do look more detailed. The ground deformation and many things look good. But the game obviously isn't done.
Yup its a real wait. The game coming out next week seems the most ideal. Otherwise the end of the month because call of duty has betas and things all this month as well. SEPTEMBER 22ND wouldn't be to bad to be honest.

Yeah. I feel like if they were to do enchanced destruction. They would need to. have the game as next gen only and P.C. to prevent any of that. As well as furthering the game engine and servers to withstand that sort of destruction.
When I imagine destruction I imagine every building structure being able to be completely destroyed. Like UE4 Chaos or those real time destruction physics that really make destruction look epic.
That's what I wanted.
When the tornado comes it would rip the window off of building and rip off parts of it take tgings out of place dynamically. Hopefully the next 2 Battlfield game begins to utilize that complete detailed destruction... But even if it was more basic physics destruction I'd be cool with building falling and breaking into smaller pieces.
Imagine fighting inside a building so much that you completely destroy the beams supporting either side as well as the main one and it falls on am objective. Completely destroying it creating a new objective inside the wreckage. But somehow each time the setting of the destruction would be randomly generated so it created b destroyed rooms and little area to fight in naturally.
Buy imagine if there was a Seige of Shanghai remastered with Destroyer missles Tornadoes and a day and night cycle.
That would be insane. Honestly!!!

Well a quality game always sells well in the long run and a hyped game always sells well in the short term. Im glad theyre taking an opposite approach to Cyberpunk by not dropping so many teasers just to launch a polished turd. Hopefully they just ignore all the pre orders and hype and small talk and realease a good game. But we will see. I stopped preordering after Cyberpunk. Had to get that refund.

Well, the core system is around their microtransaction system as well as the battlepas system like apex they will be releasing with this instalment. So you can expect them to heavily focus on this. If you have watched the trailers you can see the desire to let the people get hooked on specialist and their additions as well as the new sandbox mode that also will expand their marked for more to sell to the players.
Then there also is the focus on the Esport community (twitch community) not sure what that would be about as its whole. my guess will be some sort of sponsoring and use them for selling additions to their watchers. Really smart idea to utilise, and let people buy into battle passes. we have seen this done with apex and Fortnite.
I played bf4 bugs and all on launch so I can deal with a garbage launch can’t be worse than that 🤷♂️

There was gameplay leak again, and tbh. The graphics looked plain, the game felt weak, the melees were 3rd person now. And the guns felt dumb guns like 2010 or sm, the graphics were- not so good. I hope they improve it
