The Guru (Julian Porter) is quite a good commentator. Nice to have someone who has been an ex-driver taking the helm. So good to have the WRC back been a long time since Rally GB. Eurosport coverage is very good and hope you will upload the footage again for those that don't have sky coverage. Well done.
@WRCforeva - oh come on,times are changing and you can't have the same old school guy commentating all the WRC events although he is THE classic dude to do it. if you ask me this new guy did his job quite well ! i couldn't name a reason to pull him down - great upload man thank you very much !!!
good to see solberg back in a works car and delecour on the scene as well. Couple more manufacturers needed and we could have the makings of a championship again. VW have their Polo WRC in the wings and will add to the spectacle. Was a time when I wouldn't miss a minute and would always set off to Wales for the RAC or Network Q as it became known. Not enough quality drivers or manufacturers for that again just yet though.
This coverage isn't as good as last year, and the commenting, scripted or not, isn't as good either, but some coverage is much better than no coverage. Thank you so much for the uploads!
I agree with @supersideways. Let's see how Sweden goes, and for me I like that even though he messed up in the commentary sometimes, it not just a script that he is reading.
@WRCforeva Yeah I dont understand why people were complaining so much... for the amount of problems they had im suprised the coverage was as good as it was. Oh and thnx again for uploading these :)
good on ya wrcforeva. nice to see some quality coverage. Commentary is better than the last time i watched on Dave but still not quite at the levels of Tiff Needell and Mark whats his name when it was on BBC
I think Julian is just free talking and isn't using a script. The old WRC commentator who was shocking IMO read from a script and pretended it was live. We'll see what happens for Sweden when Eurosport don't get 10 days notice from the WRC for coverage. Be thankful we have any footage since North One screwed up as did its parent company
