Cut them in half and put a couple pats of butter in between the two halves, then close them up in foil, and bake. Even the toughest tuber becomes a masterpiece of deliciousness when cooked that way!
Mmm brown sugar. That makes it even better! I have some sugar cane too that I want to slice and bake with the taters to see how that tastes. We are both originally from Florida. Joe is a first generation Floridian and I am a fourth generation Floridian so Joe said since I was more southern, I should answer this question. LOL. -Jean

man o man o man!!! i love me some sweet taters! some brown sugar ,a ton more butter and it makes it healthy enough fo me to eat. yo need lots of butter to get the full nutrient potential out of it. of course i know that not true, this is just in case my wife asks why i use so much butter. im curious. where are yall originally from,,, or did i ask that already? i ruined a lot of memory cells in the 70,s, i ruined a lot of memory cells in the 70,s.

You can grow sweet potatoes the same way. It's very easy. :)

Can you put additional tires and soil as the vines grow? I noticed that the tubers went deep.
