Sounds like you had no issues with the glass skates? Curious how they held up compared to pulsar and other market options.
they're actually a different glass than pulsar's. Gorilla Glass is better than aluminosilicate glass.
@@jsnagn3410 for the record, "gorilla glass" is aluminosilicate. It's just a brand name. Maybe differences in how they manufacture it, but it's the same thing. And in my experience the superglides on my X2 haven't changed at all since the initial week or two of break in. Consistent zero static friction but nice dynamic friction.

Both my X2 & G303 glassfeet has been overly wornout after 2 months of use on a LGG Jupiter. Been overall inconsistent.
Best performance after 1 week of break-in.

But the 3rd week, tracking feels awfully slow, both initial & dynamic friction are way off the hook.
Awfully exhausting to play with.
Bad glide, bad tracking feedback, mouse becames floaty & high friction in some instances which was way more punishing than logitech stockfeet.

can you please compare it to a small finalmouse starlight 12? that would be great so see what’s better and why.
Do you have issues with it randomly re-centering? I’m trying to figure out if it’s my setup (too much metal around the sensor) or the mouse. So far, moving things around has not helped and I’m debating on sending it back.

My only interest is in the quality and especially durability. This magnesium alloy shell should be super durable, after a lot of usage time the buttons should not have any kind of wear like on plastic where you see superficial smooth areas on buttons?

This past drop from Saturday is still in stock. Way happier than I should be that the Scalpers won't get $400 anymore. I have massive hands and was convinced when I got this mouse it would be way too small for me to use but I was very wrong. It's a phenomenal mouse. Definitely overpriced but built extremely well and had the best tech on the market
just got mine in the mail the other day. Think my hands are too big for it :(
@@coolradio123 Yeah bro it's definitely small. I just got my Vaxee MP1-OS today. And it may be the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. And I have giant hands. Can't recommend it enough

I have been using the starlight 12 with core pads on glass mouse pad. What do you think is better starlight 12 or viper mini wireless ?
Viper mini wireless is better since the 4k and the optical switches but make sure to put the grips on to get a good grip

If it wasn't for the hole, I would have bought it right away.
I don't understand why we have to wait for the second half of summer when it would be quicker to just make the shell out of holeless plastic and replace it.
And again, I was disappointed that the official version without holes, which has been the main feedback from users for several years, was not even ready.

If they had made the shell out of holeless plastic it would be less durable than the magnesium alloy. And it would probably be a bad review from boardzy if that did happen. What you could say is to change it to carbon fiber like the Finalmouse ULX

Ok so unrelated to mice but can you try OC-ing the monitor. I wanna know how high the refresh will go at 1080p and cvt-reduced blank timing. Got my Omen X27 from 240Hz to 400Hz with those settings. Bet you could easily get yours over 500Hz

Pulsar x2 mini or lamzu atlantis minimare arguably the best small non-viper mini se mice on the market, for the pulsar, even better if you can get the special versions with updated coating

I just got mine yesterday and I LOVE IT! I've tried a ton of mice and it just feels right for my small hands and my grip style. Sure it was expensive but it is truly an amazing mouse. I was very glad I finally got one from razer themselves and didn't have to pay a scalper.
i got mine 2 days ago because my starlight small is defect just like my first after 6months. i love it too its just amazing for my smaller hands and claw grip. got the x2 mini too gonna try that for sure but i love the signature. from the 4th drop even 20hrs after drop release rly lucky :D

@@x3LightNinG no, it’s actually plastic. I was disappointed in that at first, but it really doesn’t make any difference. I thought I’d hate the holes also but it’s been really nice tbh. I have a wide desk fan I use to keep my hand from sweating and the holes make it so that it actually completely keeps my hand dry while I’m playing games.
@@Zeldalovesme ohhh yeai never hate the holes, i have sweaty palms too so im sure those will help. Only downside for me is the mouse is too small for my fitting, hope they'll bring out a larger version in the future ;S

Tbh it’s pretty easy to fix the click grinding/ wobble. I had bad side wobble on mouse two so pulled it apart, added some aluminium tape to one spot and feels so much better now
I wouldn't want to pay 280 bucks for a mouse that needs to be taken off and taped.
@@silentKeys20 neither but it’s still easy. Tbh most mice are all the same. I do it to all my mice just for that really nice click feeling. I get most my mice modded too so I’m used to mice clicks
@@AceFoxxii I had steelseries, zowie, xtrfy, razer and lamzu. Razer is the only mouse i had this issues lol. Cheap mouse quality overall.

They just released a firmware update on the website now that improves the battery life by a lot. I main this mouse, it’s so damn good.

@@MargootMC I paid retail from an early access drop on Reddit. Mine had perfect QC. I wouldn’t buy from a reseller though but the retail price was worth it to me being is how good it is if you get a perfect copy.

Holes in the bottom half instead of the top, full magnesium alloy shell, 1k polling rate, white color and I'd instabuy.
technically, 1k Polling is default on the mouse and you need to spend extra on 4k dongle to get the 4k polling rate. soo.. just save the money and dont get the 4k dongle.

Holes on the bottom wouldn't reduce as much weight as holes on the top.
The amount of clacking you do of mice off the desk by just throwing them about and letting them constantly hit the desk has me squinting my eyes >.< I'm surprised half of the mice you own still work after every review lol
The Razer Focus+ optical sensor is the most accurate sensor razer has made. It has less drift at all speeds then any current sensor. 98% of the other mice on the market have more drift. The sensor is more more accurate at 800, then 400. But if your a die hard at 400, there are easy ways to convert your mouse settings to get the same experience at 800.

@@friendsRfor773 yah, but it's like 2.09% deviation, and is about only about 5% drift. Vs say the super light with 4% deviation and 10% drift. And there a lot of mice out there that are still more like 20+% drift.
