That's pretty neat. Thank you for the introduction.

Definitely going to pick this up soon. Did you back tainted grail? Can’t wait to start playing as mine should be here Monday

Erik PEters I did. But not getting it until wave 2 ships next year. A little worried about the combat. Seems like it takes a long time.

Thanks Daniel for your recommendation on this amazing little game - I bought it and played the first chapter today and loved it ! Great channel - keep up the good work! Talisman 2nd edition full playthrough sometime?

Mike Johnson thanks! Glad you like the game. I’m sure a Talisman play through will happen at some time.

I used to use Hypercard on the mac to make these kinds of games.

@@TheDungeonDive Cool, I simply mentioned Adventure Master as it is my program, lol! Thanks!

kind of what I wanted 7th continent to be. Point and Click games are my childhood and a thematic dungeon crawling-esque game I can get my wife to play sounds great. The real lack of replay values is an issue. Something that Escape the Dark Castle and soon Escape the Dark Sector do really well.

Yeah. There is a little more going on in this than Escape The Dark Castle, a game that I absolutely love. The lack of replay doesn't bother me too much because it is pretty cheap, and I do like passing games like this on to friends. I would have been more of an issue if you destroyed stuff to play, like in the exit games.

@@TheDungeonDive ah I didn't know until I heard you mention it about destroying cards with Exit, that would put me off instantly. I checked in the UK for it and it is £14 which isn't that bad at all so will look to pick up. Thanks

Usually I’m not down on people’s artistic efforts but sometimes the format is just wrong. I really don’t see how this kind of experience is best had with this format product. It’s not the cost (you make the case for that being low even with just a couple of plays), but it’s the cost in time. I wouldn’t want to spend my time this way for this sort of experience. Feels a mismatch of intention and outlet.

Hmm...I completely disagree! We had an absolutely blast with the game. It's really well done, and does so much with so little. In what ways do you think it's a mismatch?

The Dungeon Dive The dangers of commenting on a game that I haven’t played. Maybe it’s more of a one or two time game and then pass it along to a friend. To me, the board game medium should be about multiple experiences. I guess I’d describe this less as a game than as a puzzle.

Geek Gamers oh yeah! For sure. I see your point now.
