And that's fine, let them believe what they want to believe. The issue is that some people only bring up bots when a company other than Hoyo gets a lot of pre-registrations. And then they try to slander a game with the "botted" label while forgetting that if almost all gachas are botted, Hoyo's games are also likely to be. Going by these people's own beliefs, anyway.
i hope wuthering waves silences these haters. i don't understand why people have a problem with it. If you don't like a game, don't play it and don't invest money in it. And remember, better the competition, better the Gacha space. I simply don't understand why people take it as an offense when a person says that he is hyped for a game or that they want to try the game out.
It's crazy how people can't understand the fact that if you don't like a game, you can literally ignore it.
For me when I tried genshin for the first time it wasn't my thing since the game was slow and had too much yapping since I played a game like Sekiro and devil may cry 5 before trying it and I just dropped it after 2 months and never played it again.
I will never understand those who'll hate a game just because it can compete with your game.

I have said a million times ZZZ is botting. Same for genshin and star rail. It's a chinese thing. The reason you dont see bigger CCs hyping up WW is because the latest leaked Hoyo CC Contract explicitly states you cant play/promote/make content for WW. Yeah. Take it how you will. Only non Hoyo sponsored CC can even talk about it apparently. Pretty sad on Hoyo's part as well as their playerbase attacking the game. Tec is the only big name covering the game really since hes not under Hoyo contract.
Thankfully HoYo sponsors me, but I'm not a HoYo creator specifically haha.

It's not unheard of for no-competition clauses in contracts. Imagine you own a restaurant and one of your employees is at the register, eating your competitor's food, talking about their food, while they're on the clock you pay for.
@Stixxy Think that's what a lot of these CCs are intentionally leaving out to make it look worse than it is. No-competition clauses have always been a thing. Being a Hoyo CC on Hoyo's payroll is different than a CC sponsored by Hoyo.

Man I played Genshin for 3 years on and off. I loved the world and combat but I could never use the characters that I loved so much.
Finally there's going to be a game that's made for me. Wuthering waves seems it's exactly what I personally always wanted genshin to be. I'm so freaking excited.
Is it going to be more successful than genshin? No
Is it better than Genshin? Depends on who you are and what you value in games.
Is it going to kill genshin? Absolutely not.
Will it have it's own set of issues? 100 percent

I played pgr and there's a lot about that game I didn't like but the one thing I know is Kuro will continue to try and make the game better for everyone
One of the things with genshin is bc there was no competition, they didn't have to do a lot to retain players. Now that these other games are coming out hopefully it will just result in all of these games getting better so whichever one each individual game chooses is a better experience. We can hate on eachother all we want but the reality is the better these games are, the better the user experience will be for players in each game. I'm so excited for this one

Kuro actually advertises ww everywhere, but for some reason, its system is similar to gacha; I've only seen 2 or 3 of their ads while my friend has seen them dozens of times 😂
For the multiple account thing, for some reason for the preregistration the "sign in with google" and type in your email (even if it is the same email) seems to count differently, so I had to preregister twice with the same email using two different methods just to make sure the email worked for both the preregistration and the echo event.
In my years of waiting for this game, i've seen all kinds of hate comments. One thing is clear, people hate it because they're scared of the potential it has. These bozos complain about features ALL GACHAS HAVE (grind and rng) but completely disregard the QOL it brings.
Oh well, while they're frothing at the mouth in 2 weeks time, we're gonna be eating good for the foreseeable future.
Wurthing waves growth is nothing but impressive everything to them being able to get 50k subscribers and (I don’t remember yerserday amount of pre registered) being able to close a gap of just barely reaching 28 and now being closer to 29mil.
I’m not going to say that this game can’t fail and I do expect some one to quite just because it wasn’t for them but even without the few it’s probably going to get the players back of everyone starts talking about it. I just can’t wait to see what is going to happen on launch

I had my fun in genshin but this game dont have any content where i "need" those c1+ characters and it is the same patch after patch there is not only no content for a bit more hardcore player,it is near allways the same content.

The thing I like about this game: the devs seems to be more gamer themselves or at least enjoy seeing ppl enjoying their game. The opposite is for mihoyo. They seems to despise all players outside of china.
It's still a casino game that try to lure young ppl but the gameplay, the atmosphere seem to be super. I'll try it !

This is the most hype I've been for any game ever. Dlc or main game. It even tops my reaction to seeing the final dlc for Smash Ultimate. I thought nothing would beat my hype of Sora in smash, but WW didn't just beat it, it BLEW IT.

idk why but when it comes to gacha games these "children" just lose all rationality, i don't think it will pull in genshin and HSR numbers, but i do think it will make close to what nikke and F/GO make monthly if not a bit higher (assuming that the game doesn't have any glaring issues) which is more than enough to stay around for years, so to say it will be dead in a month and all this other dribble just kind of says more about your school attendance than anything else.
The best part of new big releases is that other gacha games will be dropping freebies to keep you hooked and don't forget them.
The high numbers could be a number the company puts up as they control that site. Not really hard to put up fake numbers on a site you own. Still even if it is only half that are real that is impressive. I hope all of them do well.

@@Ngopirek870 I think HI3 already got a 2.0 patch. But ZZZ during the Alpha and Beta tests was actually boring to play. They've since said they're fixing a lot of the things and adding some more, but we'll see. I"m not sold on them as a company actually listening to players and updating a game when they're historically set in their ways. There are some old Alpha videos of ZZZ that I put in my channel before I just quit covering it to show that I've played it.
To say bots are the reason why their is so many preregisters is purely stupid and definitely wrong. For WuWa and ZZZ since their has been accusations from both. And you were right about hate as soon as something becomes popular people hate this was the case with hoyo and it will be the case for kuro and other popular gachas to come.
I think most of the haters are ex-Genshin players who spent too much money to not get what they wanted and just lash out at all gacha now.
