Thank you! I think Mark and his team did an amazing job with the robot, and I understood the choices they made for the project. It also won't be as inspirational to future engineers if the robot still couldn't beat a human at something :) I also hold out hope for a rematch some day.
@@TammyMcLeodPuzzler the thing is the video should drive people to thrive a better solution so that it can solve the puzzle faster than human while the human is at its full potential/peak, i do understand marks channel is targetted to young audience ig but the video should be so that future engineers get the motivation to build something better rather than giving them false outcome just to inspire.
@@priyanshu4676 Everything you said is true. From many of the comments though, it's pretty obvious that people know the robot wouldn't win if the human had a jigsaw with an image, so I'm sure someone will be eventually inspired to take that next step.
You're still the undisputed champion in my mind! _Especially_ since you say you've beaten a 1000-piece puzzle in under four hours (i.e., faster than the robot!)
I appreciate the support! And yes, I have done many colorful 1000 piece puzzles in under four hours. I have a new time lapse I will probably post this week.

My daughter in-law sent me the link to watch the jigsaw robot video and it was so fun for me to see that the human in the race was someone that I recognized from watching Karen's videos and from watching the live-stream of puzzle competitions. Good luck at worlds. I will be rooting for you!
