*That one 14 year old that got dragged into the Fable fandom when she was little because of her dad and is here because to this day is still a bigger fan than her dad* Ever since I could hold a controller, I've been playing Fable. It always has been and always will be my favorite game ever. This song is perfect for Fable. When I was little I would hum this tune a lot and none of the other kids would know what song it was. When they asked, I would go on a rant about the game. In 5th grade, we did a compare and contrast essay. We could compare anything we wanted. I had just finished Fable 3 and I couldn't stop thinking about how Fable 2 was still better. I ended up comparing the hero and plot from Fable 2 and 3. I bet nobody expected someone to go all out on a simple paper in 5th grade over a game. Well, I did and my teacher was so impressed that she had me read it to the whole class and during that I explained each game to them. I think I earned respect from the boys lol. I remember emphasizing how sad Rose's death was to me as well. Ah, childhood memories of Fable 2. What can I say? I'm passionate about Fable 2 guys.
@@Dieje (I'm on a different account but I'm the same person) Yes, but I mostly let my dad play. As a kid I enjoyed watching him play the first game. Fable 2 was always more a both of us thing and I played Fable 3 alone. It took me a long time at first, but then I discovered I could beat Fable 3 in a single day and did so may times in elementary school.
The fate of this beloved franchise now lies within the hands of Playground games. And now they’re left with such a massive task. To not only revive this franchise with a return to form structure but also take the series into a better direction. All we can do now is wait and pray.
I long for the day this happens. When that does. You bet your butts I'll be sobbing of intense joy.🖤 And will probably never see day light for a few years. 😂 After these past 2 years of COVID. We could all do with some fable.
@@touchingisjustthefirststep I gotta disagree with you there fable 2 and 3 to this day still suck me in for a full playthrough every time I boot it up, when I played the fable 1 anniversary edition I couldnt even bring myself to get through more than an hour of the game without getting bored out if my mind.
@@gemsolus6568 You're in the extreme minority lol fable 3 gameplay was just such a downgrade just like fable 2 idk why lionhead fucked up so bad and didn't hold on to their promises
@@touchingisjustthefirststep I'll say fable 3 definitely had its problems particularly I hated how all the weapons kinda looked the same, but imo it did more things right than it did wrong.
@@gemsolus6568 it's scary how relatable this is. I think it's because people who played Fable 2 first, usually love Fable 2 more than the others, but love Fable 3 and dont like Fable as much, because that was Fable at its prime, but the other two "down grades" we're used to so they aren't downgrades to us. People probably find the first Fable overwhelming and different from what they are used to. Fable 1 is completely different, literally everything is different from something like combat to something as simple as the way the camera pans for cinematics. It's much different and can be overwhelming to people who like the simplicity of Fable 2 and 3
Still play this game, from start to finish, every so often. I hope one day to see this game get remade, with first person and vr support ( in both 3rd and 1st person. ) hey, dont like the idea? Dont use it. Its theoretical, and optional. Would be sick to at least fill in the rest of the game world and remove load screens, maybe fix up the movement bc running around looks and feels janky. Regardless of its few flaws, I am absolutely in love with fable 2. The death system was great, never made anyone feel like they truly lost, not even once.
I'm hoping and praying that fable reboot is going to live up to fable 2. I got so excited that I kicked an unopened bottle of gatorade across the room. Oops. I was freaking out over the trailer and I barely noticed I kicked it through all of the tears. I'll wait forever for this game. On my birthday I found out about the percy jackson disney plus project. Then I found out about this and that harry potter game. 2020 may just be the worst and best year of my life lmao
yeah there is kickstarter for funding, but not the rights to make the game. those remain with microsoft. not to mention the interest for a fable game in 2017 is most likely not big enough to gather a funding big enough to make the game we desire unfortunately. :(
Here after the awful new trailer. As someone who routinely listens to the Fable soundtracks, it makes me so angry that Russell Shaw is STILL AVAILABLE and they haven't gone with him. I get that trailer music isn't always that used in the games but the music in the trailer sounds so generic and not like the whimsical, magical, fantastic Shaw score, which to me, contributes so much to the soul of the originals.
Fable 2 was between abysmal-mediocre. Hate to break it to people but Fable 1 itself, while very good didn't realise everything mr Molyneux had announced his vision. I still remember the amount of letdown when playing it on the very og xbox after seeing the trailer for project ego years before. Fable from the very start has been a "what if" story. Fable 2 was clumsy and less fine touches Fable 1 had. That's when I knew it's not going to be okay, ever. It wasn't going to head into the more right Fable 1 direction. And with Fable anniversary it's horrible bloated anx hideous make-over also was a stab at the one game worth anything. Fable 1 TLC stands as the only Fable game that wasn't total fail. The creator didn't build on the weaknesses of Fqble 1 like invisible walls, limited scope, lack of true open-world adventuring. No instead, the good stuff was thrown out the weaknesses expanded upon, and the game felt like a casual sim-game that hit the wrong notes. The talent to shape the original vision dating from interviews over 2 decades ago simply isn't available to the creator. There never has been a Fable we deserved.
This music brings me back to my old small room with one bed and one xbox.
And lots of magic.

Fable 1 easily beats every other fable game, sadly the franchise went downhill since the first game.

well that's epic music
I think it's composed by Danny Elfman
